Nine-Eleven (September 11, 2001)

After 25 years, I’ve honed my karmic astrology skills. Today might be a good day to look with new eyes at the event chart of that day, using the timing of the first plane hitting the North Tower.

Certainly, if you wanted to capture the world’s attention, you couldn’t have a better timing for the first strike: Mercury conjunct the Libra Ascendant. But the Saturn trine Ascendant at an exact degree is significant. That exactitude is unusual. The Sun is inconjunct Uranus, bringing the element of surprise attack. The other inconjunct links Jupiter with Pluto, bringing the greatest amount of damage to the Towers, the city of New York and the whole country. Emotionally, the Moon is in opposition to Mars: the harbinger of the long-running war that was the follow. Notice which planet is un-aspected: Neptune.
