Utopia or Dystopia?

Eve of Destruction or Dawn of a New Age?

It all depends on your perspective, doesn’t it?

The thinking on climate change is that we’re running out of time before we destroy this Earth and everything on it. And if we don’t do something, anything, soon, it will be too late. Some have even gone so far as to equate humanity with an out-of-control virus. The world cannot sustain an ever-increasing population explosion, they claim.

Well, not necessarily, I say.

Conservation or Progression?

The one percent of humanity that owns or controls the resources of this world want to maintain their stewardship. That’s why the rich keep getting richer and the poor, poorer.

But there really is enough to go around. There is plenitude, not scarcity. You wouldn’t know that from newscasts, though. The mainstream media (MSM) are in the hands of those in control. They are lying to us, to get us to acquiesce to their ‘needs’. And, yet, there are free-thinkers in the world who come up with solutions, only to be told that there’s no money available to develop them.

As an example, the Alberta government has legislated a reduction in oil production because the price for crude oil is too low to make it profitable to sell. Conservation.

In another example, the Ontario government has cancelled grants for selling electric automobiles, because they have to ‘balance the budget’. Conservation.

The better way, which the Paris Agreement on Climate Change endorsed, is to develop new methods and equipment, in the hopes that man’s impact on climate can be reduced.

Notice who dropped out of that agreement…

Untapped Potential

A friend shared an interesting Native story about the Creator wanting to hide the answer for mankind’s salvation somewhere. Every suggestion was unsuitable because mankind would physically discover it through mechanical means. Finally, it was suggested that the secret be hidden inside each person. “It is done!” said the Creator.

New Agers are called that because they are looking forward to the Age of Aquarius. Their focus has been on developing themselves to act as channels for spiritual energy. Dowsers, psychics, healers and artists have all been doing their upmost to bring about a change in mankind. As the work progresses, Light has been pouring into the world in greater degrees of clarity. The New Age is dawning.

Conclusion

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today… Aha-ah…

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace… You…

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world… You…

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
