President Kamala Harris?
Now, wouldn’t that be something? Although it seems like a long shot now, we don’t know what’s going to happen in the next eighteen months. Or do we?
In my daily requests to the Almighty, I included one recently that asked for a peek into the future to see how the next American Presidential election would turn out. (And because I’m Canadian, this might seem a strange request…) Yesterday, I got a message from a fellow astrologer, Steve Kinsman, who asked me to calculate the start of the “Next Presidential Administration” (January 20th, 2021 @ 12:03 pm in Washington, D.C.). Wow, request answered!
But there is one small niggle: would a permanent Daylight Savings Time have taken effect? Steve didn’t think it would be in place by then, so I did as he asked, using Standard Time.
The chart that I produced seem to hint at a female hand guiding the wheel of state and so I made a psychic leap and thought of Kamala Harris. Then I slept on the idea.
This morning, I came to the realization that the DST question was actually in play, so I redid the chart with that in mind. Here it is…

Yes, that is the Moon conjunct the Ascendant. And the conjunction between Mars and Uranus is symbolic of ‘lightning striking’. The planets all being in the upper left quadrant of the chart reminds me of another chart, which I’ll get to later. But that Moon in Aries seems to rule the chart. Then I compared Kamala Harris’ chart to this one.

Harris’ Moon is within one degree of the Admin’s Moon. I think we have liftoff!
(By the way, even if we still had Standard Time then, the Moon would have influence, but only as a 12th House undercurrent. Who would have thought one hour could mean so much?)
Now, to that other chart I mentioned. I had to look it up from memory, but I found it: the First A-Bomb Dropped in 1945!
Let’s hope this next Presidential transition doesn’t blow up in everyone’s faces.
(And, don’t forget: you had a peek into the future here first.)
The ‘lightning striking’ symbol of Mars conjunct Uranus is shorthand for an lightning quick accident. It came up in an Astrology class. The teacher asked: “If an individual has Mars conjunct Uranus, what does it mean?” My immediate answer: “They’ve been hit by lightning…” The teacher then said, “How did you know?”
