Quote from this week’s Leaders’ Debate
It’s a tough place to be: the only female among a group of ‘holier than thou’ males trying to get the support of Canadian voters. Elizabeth May has a voice. And she is being heard by the female voters, especially the ones who are environmentalists at heart.
But is it enough?
The NDP are the ‘natural’ third party of Canadian politics, the Greens a distant fourth. So it may take the disaffection of women with Trudeau to give Betty any chance of increasing the number of seats in Parliament from the one where she sits now.
But it could happen, really.

And I seem to be not the only one who views this election as a cartoon.
