Not Just for Christmas.
This is the religious spin on that old adage about a dog being important all the time, not just the day you got it.
But, unfortunately, both the dog and God get taken for granted for the rest of the time.
Why am I discussing this?
Let’s just say that, even though I admire the fact that people want to make sure the ‘down and outs’ get a Christmas dinner and/or a gift or two during this holiday season, I really wish they would be this charitable all the time, because it’s a tough world out there.
And even though it’s not necessary to say this to some people:
Charity in the biblical sense means Love.
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (I Corinthians 13:13)
