Introducing the Winner of American Idol 2021:

Chayce Beckham (July 18, 1996)

It seemed impossible to Chayce Beckham that he even made it to the auditions last year. Two weeks before the event, he wrote off his vehicle in a horrific crash. The accident ‘turned him around’ and charted a new path for him. And now he’s arguably one of the best country singer-songwriters to come along in years. (Think, American Idol Phillip Phillips with the growly voice of Bradley Cooper’s Jack from “A Star Is Born”.) Oh, that’s interesting: a star is born…

Everybody notes that Chayce is 24 and born sometime in 1996. One site stated that he turned 24 on July 18, 2020. Of course, no birthtime yet, so I randomized the time and then rectified the chart to show his ‘wake up call’ (Pluto) just before his 24th birthday. I was not surprised to see a Yod pointing at Neptune from Mars and the Moon.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

People with this aspect often hide their real feelings and make sacrifices for others that they do not really want to make. Then they resent the person who asked for the sacrifice. You must learn to tell people how you really feel; if you do not, you have only yourself to blame for what happens. You must learn to accept that you are responsible for your own life. Do not act as if you are the victim of strong forces that you can’t control, because you can control them.

Mars Inconjunct Neptune

Sometimes this aspect signifies a desire to escape from this world altogether, perhaps through drugs, perhaps through strange cults and religions. You are easily persuaded that your individuality is not worth much and that you should give it up to some higher power. This may be desirable at some point in your life, but only after you have found yourself and have an understanding of your own worth. You have to be a real individual before you can give up your individuality to a higher power.

Simple as my mama said when I was very young

She told me not to worry son

One day you’ll be some one

Chayce Beckham “23”

Winning American Idol

I’ve never tried this before: charting the win on a musical reality program. I’m surprised I hadn’t thought of it until now, but, as usual, the inspiration came to me in the night while I slept.

It is only when you combine the two charts does the significance show that this was destined.

The ‘event’ Ascendant is exactly where Chayce’s age of ‘almost’ 25 should be. That confirms for me that my chart rectification of his birth time is as accurate as it can be without actually knowing. The ‘event’ Sun is within 4° of his own Ascendant. The two Venus placements are about 2° apart, while the ‘event’ Mercury and Chayce’s Mars are that close, too. The ‘kicker’ for me is that the ‘event’ Pluto is almost exactly conjunct Chayce’s Neptune (which still has the Yod from his birth chart now pointing to the ‘event’ Pluto), while a second interactive Yod is pointing at his Moon, with inconjuncts from the ‘event’ Pluto and the ‘event’ Neptune. To heck with what Robert Hand’s words say in that first aspect description above, there are stronger forces at work that he cannot control, and all Chayce has to do was surrender to that higher power, as stated in the second aspect description. And the ‘event’ Saturn is conjunct his Midheaven (his career 10th House) in Aquarius. So, there…
