Lightfoot: Once a Troubadour, Always a Troubadour

OK, here goes: when I originally did William IX, Duke of Aquitaine’s birth and death charts, I ‘presumed’ I had something to do with this man who was The Troubadour from 1100 A.D. Now, I can finally make sense of why I should have picked up on his energy…

The Yod (Finger of God) pointing at Lightfoot’s Uranus/South Node in Taurus with inconjuncts from William IX’s South Node/Ascendant in Sagittarius and his Midheaven in Libra (also conjunct Gordon’s Mars) shows that these two are ‘totally’ connected. Now, please note, I am not saying that Lightfoot IS William IX reincarnated, but this is definitely suggestive of that idea. William’s Mercury/Venus conjunction in Scorpio is conjunct Gordon’s Sun/Venus conjunction. At the same time, Gordon’s Neptune/Part of Fortune in Virgo is in close conjunction to William’s Moon, while Gordon’s Moon in Libra is within 3° of William’s Mars.

But to ‘prove’ reincarnation there has to be similar aspects between William’s death and Gordon’s birth.

Because the ‘death’ chart for William IX is set for 12 noon, we cannot rely on the positions of his Moon, the Ascendant or the Midheaven, but the other aspects could be enough to satisfy my curiosity. William’s ‘fatal’ Sun/Mars/Midheaven in Aquarius is centred on Gordon’s Jupiter. And Gordon’s Moon is almost exactly William’s ‘fatal’ Saturn. Is it enough? Perhaps…

It is ‘telling’ that Lightfoot got his greatest exposure in the States when he performed at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. Need I say anything else?
