‘WWG1WGA”

Does this thinking still apply, today? Is this why Zelenskyy is chiding the Western powers for standing at a distance and watching the events unfold in his precious country? And why didn’t NATO allow Ukraine to become part of the alliance? Were the member states afraid of tweaking Putin’s nose?
So many questions; so few answers.
The Q-Anon slogan “Where We Go One, We Go All” is toothless when it comes to international politics. Americans only want to attack themselves. That’s how totally messed up everything is.
We all know that war is not the answer, but what can be done with a naked aggressor? Sanction him?! And now, as a matter of defence strategy, Putin is mobilizing his nuclear weaponry. Is he trying to follow an Armageddon scenario? Throughout the Cold War, nuclear deterrent was the only thing keeping everyone safe (as strange as that might sound). Now we have a very ‘unstable’ individual with his hand potentially on the nuclear trigger. God help us all.
“How the Leaves Came Down” by Susan Coolidge
Sometimes an allegory is the only way to get across a spiritual truth.

When one is a Spiritual Warrior, being peaceful is only half the story. The other half needs to rise up in righteous indignation. It’s a binary world, after all else is said and done. The truth is we will all die, sometime, but the warrior says, “Today is a good day to die” and lives his life that way.
Would it be in vain? No, because the next life and the next life and the next life brings us a chance to finally get it right. And, if you are a spiritual ‘brother in arms’, you will know when it’s your time to stand up, and fight for your right to die today. Today is a good day…
Thanks, Ellie.
Brothers in Arms
Dire Straits
These mist covered mountains
Are a home now for me
But my home is the lowlands
And always will be
Someday you’ll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And you’ll no longer burn to be
Brothers in arms
Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
I’ve witnessed your suffering
As the battle raged high
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms
There’s so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones
Now the sun’s gone to hell and
The moon’s riding high
Let me bid you farewell
Every man has to die
But it’s written in the starlight
And every line in your palm
We’re fools to make war
On our brothers in arms
