What Can We Expect from This Individual?

Mark Carney (March 16, 1965)

Just two months from his 60th birthday, Mark Carney is expected to throw his political hat into the ring to become leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, today. From a running start, he will be the oldest Prime Minister in recent history. Will that gravitas make him electable? Or are we just ready for someone with a sense of humour, for a change?

Let’s look at his rectified birth chart, shall we?

I set the time so that Venus would appear at about age 33 when he married his wife. Hmm. The 1st House/7th House oppositions seem to speak volumes of his work as an economist. Would that make him an effective Prime Minister? I’m not entirely sure. Mercury at his 9th House cusp of 15° Aries is inconjunct to the Mars/Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Virgo. He may surprise all of us.

Huh?!
