Because the written version of this took place about 60 years later, the White Horse Prophecy is considered to be fake news. However, the statement of the Constitution hanging by a thread seems real.
As prophecy, this purported Joseph Smith statement is an echo of Jesus’ words about the ‘end times’. Also, Revelation is referenced here, especially about the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Myth #6: The Mormons will save the Constitution. The Latter Day Saints would go to the Rocky Mountains and … be a great and mighty people , identified figuratively with the White Horse described in Revelation 19. Is that any different to the Crazy Horse prophecy?
This sounds more likely, and fits a spiritual truth about going within and realizing that we are all one.
