You’d Think: Been There, Done That, Wouldn’t You?

Lillian Gish (October 14, 1893 – February 27, 1993)

Normally, I don’t visit random biographies of actresses born 130 years (or more) ago. But this person was highlighted in a Facebook post by an individual who saw “The Birth of the Nation” and thought that this actress reminded him of an actress who is alive at the present time.

There is a bit of confusion as to what year Gish was actually born. It turns out that she lied about her age to G.W. Griffith in 1912, suggesting that she was 16, when in fact she was 19. My computer program had her birth date as October 14, 1896, as a result. This birth chart is far more dynamic than that one was. There is one inconjunct, linking Uranus and Pluto. I guess lying at a young age came naturally to her.

Here’s the actress that is being linked with her reincarnationally.

Sydney Sweeney (September 12, 1997)

It’s a failing on my part, but I’d never seen nor heard of this actress/producer before. But, I must admit, there is an uncanny resemblance to Lillian Gish.

What makes this interesting for me is the fact that another astrology site on Facebook highlighted this birth chart and asked if anyone recognized who the person might be. It was the Mars in the 12th House/Pluto in the 1st House combination which caught my eye. Saturn is the apex of a Yod, formed by inconjuncts to the Sun/North Node/Midheaven conjunction, and Mars. There is another inconjunct connecting Mercury and Uranus. Hmm.

But do the charts align?

Gish’s natal North Node is conjunct Sweeney’s Saturn, which then is inconjunct to Sweeney’s Sun/North Node and the Midheaven. Sweeney’s Ascendant is inconjunct Gish’s ‘fatal’ Ascendant (although that could be totally accidental, since I set her death time to noon).Gish’s natal Ascendant is also conjunct the Sun/North Node/Midheaven conjunction in Sweeney’s chart. Is it enough? Perhaps.

What do you think?
