Gloria Steinem (March 25, 1934 – September 2, 2026)

When I was becoming an adult, Gloria Steinem seemed to be the background noise that most men didn’t really understand. Women, however, decided that her way was the best. Only, instead of being liberated from the mundane world of raising children and housekeeping, they fell into the trap of trying to have it all. If you ask any women about what they want these days, staying home would seem a better choice.

There was one quote attributed to Steinem that seemed to be the crux of the problem:

Cash Peters speculated that Steinem may have suffered ‘something’ in her childhood. The earliest issue has to do with Venus/Saturn conjunct, both inconjunct Pluto. Oh-oh. This is followed by the Moon inconjunct Mercury. Her mom may not have believed her. Only in her early teens does Mars inconjunct Neptune motivate her feminist response. The Sun is conjunct Mars. The fierce fighter was reborn.

Were her issues resolved when she died? I would suggest not: her natal Moon is inconjunct her ‘fatal’ Pluto; her natal Jupiter is inconjunct her ‘fatal’ Moon; and her natal Ascendant is inconjunct her ‘fatal’ Saturn. Finally, her natal Sun is conjunct her ‘fatal’ Neptune. And her natal Neptune is conjunct her ‘fatal’ Sun.Is that clear?
