For those of us living now, the biggest terrorist attacks would seem to be a modern phenomenon. But that is not true. Here’s one from a century ago that tried to strike at the heart of the financial centre of the West, and succeeded in rattling the American population.
After the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917, the USA began to have similar grass roots movements. They didn’t fully express themselves until after the Great War ended on November 11, 1918. Then full anti-Capitalist sentiments came out in the form of labour strikes and the creation of the American Communist Party.
To those in control, ‘something’ needed to be done, so ‘subversives’ were rounded up and many were sent back to their home countries.
As always we must consider the fact that there was a ‘hidden hand’ behind the bombing. And Neptune in Leo in the 9th House gave me a clue. Looking up the sign rulership of countries, I found that Italy (Rome) is one of the countries ruled by Leo.
What’s more, Italy (Naples) is also ruled by Sagittarius, and the chart’s Mars is in Sagittarius in the 1st House. (That is an explosive combination.) To make matters ‘worse’, Mars is Inconjunct to Pluto in Cancer in the 8th House (of Death). Now it’s getting interesting.
The suspected terrorists were supporters of a recently deported Luigi Galleani. So the Italian connection was probably true.
And yet there were whispers of the fact that this was a Communist plot.
The Red Horse
Take a close look at this image. In the previous image, you can see the horse’s body, but in most of the photos of this event’s aftermath, the horse looks like it has been airbrushed out of history.
The details given in the newspapers the next day state that the horse was red in colour. As it was pulling the wagon full of explosives and shrapnel, the significance could not be clearer: this was a “Red Russian” plot. Or at least that was the intended message.
And that is why I think this was a secret government action, to bolster public support for more reprisals and deportations. Sound familiar?
Now who could have done that?
J Edgar Hoover
Read these two paragraphs from Wikipedia’s post about Hoover:
Head of the [anti-]Radical Division
In August 1919, Hoover became head of the Bureau of Investigation’s new General Intelligence Division, also known as the Radical Division because its goal was to monitor and disrupt the work of domestic radicals. America’s First Red Scare was beginning, and one of Hoover’s first assignments was to carry out the Palmer Raids.
Hoover and his chosen assistant, George Ruch, monitored a variety of U.S. radicals with the intent to punish, arrest, or deport those whose politics they decided were dangerous. Targets during this period included Marcus Garvey; Rose Pastor Stokes and Cyril Briggs; Emma Goldman and Alexander Berkman; and future Supreme Court justice Felix Frankfurter, who, Hoover maintained, was “the most dangerous man in the United States”.
No, I think Hoover was the most dangerous man in the United States.
As a result of his response to the bombing, in 1921 Hoover ascended the ranks of the Bureau of Investigation (which in 1934 became the FBI), until he was made the Director in 1924.
This is no accident.
Until Hoover’s death in 1972, he was the most feared man in the USA.
JFK was assassinated under his watch, and RFK paid with his life, too, for trying to stand up to him.
Is it any wonder that the American public doesn’t really know what to believe? They’ve been lied to for so long now that they cannot tell “Fake News” from the real thing.
And note that the perpetrators of the 1920 bombing were never caught.
God help us all.
