It’s an Old, Old, Old, Old Story: Atlantis and the Continental Drift

Pangea

I was watching a replay of ‘The Search for Atlantis’ episode of “The UnXplained” on the History Channel last night: it was discussing (yet again) about all the theories of how Atlantis disappeared beneath the waves in the ancient past. OK. But what about the Continental Drift theory? Could it not be possible that ‘something’ made the tectonic plates move further apart and as a result the land mass we know as Atlantis sunk under the waters of the North Atlantic?

(I have a note on my daily calendar to remind me where I am for reading the Bashar pdf: pages 100-101. Would you believe me if I told you that the passage I was looking for about earth changes as predicted by Edgar Cayce was exactly on those same pages in “Edgar Cayce’s Story of Jesus”? I thought not…)

“These Readings thus state that records of Atlantis, presumably written ones, exist in an undiscovered sructure near the Sphinx. Their discovery would constitute strong evidence of Altantis’ prior existence, as well as confirming the validity of the Cayce Readings. But Cayce did not stop with just this set of predictions. He tied them all together with other prophecies concerning vast earth changes, the reappearance of Poseidia, the beginning of a New Age — and the possibility of the promised return of the Master.”

Q. What great change or the beginning of what change, if any, is to take place in the earth in the year 2000 to 2001 A.D.?

A. When there is a shifting of the poles. Or a new cycle begins.

(826-8)

And Poseidia will be among the first portions of Atlantis to rise again. Expect it in sixty-eight and sixty-nine. (’68 and ’69) Not so far away!

(958-3) (June 28. 1940)

It’s obvious that ‘something’ changed between then and now, causing a delay, but an interesting corollary exists in the fact that we have seen the magnetic North Pole begin to drift out of the Canadian Arctic and into Siberian Russia!

North Atlantic Ocean Seabed

By themselves, these satellite images do not prove the existence of a land mass in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, but they show that something used to poke above the waves at some time in the ancient past. Most of the theories used to focus on the North American/Caribbean side of the North Atlantic, but now researchers are wondering if Plato wasn’t right all the time when he wrote about Atlantis being just outside the ‘Pillars of Hercules’ (the Strait of Gilbraltar). The New World continent was just beyond the Island.

Further Evidence

There was an earthquake along the equator on May 7, 2021. (Honestly, this is news to me, since barely a mention was made at the time on the news cycle…) What is interesting is that there was a similar earthquake (M 6.0) 12 hours before off the coast of Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean. Are they connected? Is the earth shifting even further apart? How far can it go?

Nothing is ever over…
