Thomas Edison (February 11, 1847 – October 18, 1931)
Again, Ahtun Re has suggested that these two are related reincarnationally. The reason for suggesting that is in answer to the obvious question: why wouldn’t he be Tesla, instead? After all, he has paid homage to the man by naming his car after him. Hmm.
The ‘normal’ time on most astrological websites is 6:30 am. That time represents dawn (or close to it) on the day Elon Musk was born. One intrepid astrologer rectified Musk’s birth time to 20:42:36 and I’m going along with that. Why? Because the North Node is conjunct the Aquarius Ascendant; he’s another child protege. And the Mars conjunction to both gives him the energy to pursue his goals.
Venus Inconjunct Midheaven
You are very likely to feel there is a conflict between what you ought to do in a particular situation and what would be acceptable to the people around you. Often your friendships come into conflict with your parents’ intentions for you, which is difficult to resolve. Later in life, you may see your job, career or profession as a part of your life that is quite separate from your personal relationships with loved ones. This may cause you to neglect one area in favor of the other, instead of trying to create a balance between them.
This same pattern of thinking may make you believe that you must sacrifice pleasure and enjoyment in order to achieve anything worthwhile in life. Here again you cannot afford to let either aspect of your life triumph over the other. Especially as you get older, you should make a conscious effort to find ways to enjoy yourself, be with your friends and love ones and, at the same time, move toward your goals.
Comparing Musk’s Birth Chart with Edison’s Charts
I think the strongest link between these two is the Mars/North Node/Ascendant in Musk’s chart being totally echoed in Edison’s natal Sun/Mercury conjunction. Musk’s South Node is conjunct Edison’s ‘fatal’ Jupiter in Leo. There are other links, but I won’t bore you with the details; just look for yourself.
