I have a fairly easy relationship with my dog. She tells me what she wants, and I do it. She’s quietly assertive in other ways, too. When we go for a walk, she leads the way, or tries to deviate from the path.

Again her birth details are sketchy, at best. I think she was born in Barrie, Ontario. I have set the clock for noon again, just to see what stands out, when compared to her personality. The Yods speak volumes.

Moon Inconjunct Mercury (probable)

As you grow older, you will have to learn to make your feelings and your reason work together. The problem is not so much that they come into conflict with each other, but that your reason and feelings represent two very different sides of your personality. When you are calm and collected and able to reflect carefully, you make decisions in one way. But when you are emotionally involved in a situation, you are likely to make up your mind very differently, which could cause you to seem inconsistent to others and make it difficult for them to understand you. (She is curious about other dogs, and then barks when they seem too close to her.)

Moon Inconjunct Ascendant (maybe)

This aspect ties together in you a Moon sign and a rising sign that are very different. This indicates that the image you project to others does not reveal very much about your real feelings. When you are upset, you surprise people by showing a totally different side of your personality. You like to think big, and you have great ambitions, but you don’t always make sure that your thinking is clear or careful. Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant (also likely)

Your need for freedom may interfere with your close relationships. When you are with others, even those you like, you feel very restless but you can’t get up and leave because you want to be with them. This is typical of the ambiguity that comes from this transit. Certainly, the more others try to restrict your freedom of movement, the more you try to get away. (When she’s snooping around our back garden, she is totally in her own world.)

Conclusions

I used to think that her ‘two-minds’ personality was just down to her being born under the influence of Gemini. Now I understand the ‘bigger’ picture, it makes me think that her dog’s purpose this time around was to recreate a past-life situation (South Node conjunct Ascendant, North Node conjunct Neptune on the Descendant). She truly may have been my dog from 1955: Columbus.
