Every, and I mean every, other astrology web site has 6:52 am as Jimmy Hoffa‘s birth time. Even my own astrology program had that time, but I am suspicious of birth charts that have the time as dawn, even when it is claimed they hold a birth certificate in their hands. AA rating or not, I’m going to disagree by an hour-and-a-half.

The reason for my rectification? His father died when he was 7 years of age (Saturn @ 121° from the Ascendant). As a result, Mars becomes conjunct with his Capricorn Rising @ 26°, and they both are in opposition to Neptune in Cancer. Pluto then becomes inconjunct to these two as well (when he left school and started working in the ‘real’ world of hustling). Neptune was already inconjunct to the Sun/Mercury conjunction in Aquarius, so this becomes a clearer indication of his nefarious ways.

Sun Inconjunct Neptune

You are very sensitive to your environment and to the people around you. On one level of your being, you feel what is going on very acutely. Unfortunately, your understanding often comes in terms that are very difficult to communicate to others, because their meaning is not clear in your own mind. Your greatest danger is in being exposed to negative people who are full of anger or depression or who act very harshly toward you and undermine your self-confidence. Your self-confidence has to be boosted at every conceivable opportunity, and it would be very destructive for you to be criticized sharply, unless the person has made it very clear that he or she loves you.

Mercury Inconjunct Neptune

The challenge of this aspect is to make your thinking and communication with others more clear. Your rational mind is strongly influenced by your sensitivity, imagination and ideals, although you aren’t always sure how this happens. You tend to spend too much time in your own imaginary world that no one else can share, and this confuses your dealings with others. You will have to learn to face reality, so that you can at least communicate with people. Otherwise, you will have a very lonely life.

Mars Inconjunct Pluto

You have a strong will and always want to have your own way. But very often it seems as if tremendous forces are working to prevent you from getting what you want. If you have this problem, it is because of the way you go about trying to achieve your ends. If you put too much force into your desire to get something, you may unknowingly alienate people because your aggressive manner shows that you will let nothing stop you from getting what you want. Even if that isn’t the way you really feel about it, you should recognize that your forcefulness creates this impression.

Pluto Inconjunct Ascendant

This can be an indication that through experiences with others, you will be forced to undergo many significant changes in life. At times the crises may be quite unpleasant, but for the most part the results will be very positive, although for some people, they may be less constructive. But you must be very careful about the kind of people you get involved with. Choose your friends with great care and try to find people who have a healthy outlook on life and who seem reasonably well balanced. People who are driven to extreme behavior or who act compulsively, as if they could not plan anything in advance, are not very good for you. They will get you into difficult situations that you do not need.

Mars Conjunct Ascendant

You are strong-willed, and people quickly realize that you are not someone to trifle with. You have all the classic qualities of Mars — self-reliance, courage and daring, personal aggressiveness and independence. You need to have complete control over your own life, but there is a danger that you will be too quarrelsome and domineering.

The Last Time Hoffa was Seen

The opposition between the ‘event’ Ascendant (@ 13° Scorpio) and Mars (@ 20° Taurus) tells me that the planned kidnapping (and/or murder) was already in operation by this time. There are no inconjuncts.

A fictionalized version of what happened to Hoffa is presented in The Irishman (2019). But the question remains as to where his body is. The Cold Case Tarot reading by Ellie Dreams Down Under suggests that he was dumped in a calm, large body of water, near Detroit. That seems entirely possible.

Combining these two charts shows us that Hoffa’s natal Mars has come up against a transiting opposition from the ‘event’ Saturn. Most likely Saturn represents the Mob. The other aspects involve conjunctions between: the ‘event’ South Node and his natal Moon/Saturn conjunction; the ‘event’ Pluto and his natal South Node; and the ‘event’ Saturn (again) and his natal Neptune. Interesting.

But don’t believe everything you hear or see.
