The End of a Decade-Long Bromance

False Business Records? (May 14, 2024)

I was inspired to write this post, following yesterday’s testimony by Michael Cohen in Donald Trump’s election interference case. Some have likened it to a divorce proceeding. And with the animosity on display, I would tend to agree with that characterization. (Literally, they haven’t seen each other in six or seven years and Michael’s grievance is that he was hung out to dry by the man he protected, when Donald could have saved him as President of the United States.) The chart is for the exact moment Michael was asked if the invoice he was shown was a false business record: he answered, “Yes.”

Note that there are no inconjuncts. That means that what you see is what you get. There are no hidden agendas. Pluto in opposition to the Ascendant lets us see that this is the big revelation. So how did this come about? If you look at Trump and Cohen together, astrologically, their relationship is obvious.

Five aspects stand out: Cohen’s Jupiter is flanked by Trump’s Venus/Saturn conjunction; Cohen’s Venus is conjunct Trump’s Pluto; and three inconjuncts define their dynamic together, Trump’s Uranus is connected to Cohen’s Neptune, Trump’s Mars is connected to Cohen’s Saturn, and Trump’s Mercury is connected to Cohen’s Ascendant. This relationship is definitely a Master/Servant one. But for Cohen to serve his master properly, he had to love him. And one of the last messages Cohen got (via Trump’s support system) was that he was loved, too. Yeah, right…

The three charts together give us an overview of the moment that Michael sank Donald: the event Ascendant is conjunct Michael’s Jupiter and Donald’s Venus and Saturn. That says it all, does it not?

Hmm.
