Katy Perry (October 25, 1984)
At least she and Justin Trudeau have that in common. With news cycles distracting us from the usual suspects, we are starting to see pictures of Justin and Katy together as a new couple.

Of course, that means I want to look at them astrologically.

I wasn’t prepared for that dramatic stellium of five planets in Scorpio. But it makes sense, given Katy’s love of dressing up. The Sun and Pluto are closely conjunct in the 12th House, while the Moon and Saturn are closely conjunct in the 1st House. The light and dark of her personality is visibly present.
If you have three or more planets placed in your first house of self, you’re meant to prioritize developing your sense of autonomy and independence over most things. It might sound selfish, but it’s essential that you put yourself first, and, based on the planets involved, it’s essential that you allow yourself to channel those energies outwardly as much as possible.
She also has three planets in the next sign of Sagittarius, split between the 1st and 2nd Houses. Hmm.

I guess she’s just eggs-pressing her true self.
Doesn’t the groom in this music video remind you a little of Justin Trudeau?
What Will Her Relationship With Justin Trudeau Be Like?
Off the bat, the age difference might actually work for them. He’s 13 years her senior.

But the Yod (Finger of God), pointing at Justin’s Saturn (conjunct Katy’s North Node) formed by inconjuncts to Katy’s Sun/Pluto conjunction on one side and her Neptune on the other, could signal that his Father energy may be sorely tested by her rebellious streak. There are two other inconjuncts which may make it worse, or better: Justin’s Moon and Katy’s Moon/Saturn conjunction; and Justin’s Mars and Katy’s Sun/Pluto conjunction. In effect, the latter inconjunct makes another Yod, echoing the first Yod.
It’s as if these two people together will be able to unlock each other’s darkest secrets. Watch this space.
