Who Are They, Really?
As you may have noticed, if you have read many of my posts here, that I have a certain discomfort with dualistic thinking. Why do things have to be categorized as one thing or the other? Why can’t they be both?
Extraterrestrials are a case in point. Depending on which side of the divide you fall on, they are either our saviours or our nemeses.
This struggle for our bodies and minds has been going on for millennia. It’s what keeps us separate and alienated.
The word was originally intended to denote anything that was different or strange. Only in the last half century or so has it become synonymous with Space Beings. It is no wonder that this time has become known as the Space Age.
We have fouled our nest, Mother Earth, and now we want to fly away to somewhere new, somewhere where no man has gone before.
In the past, this urge could be satisfied with the discovery of an unknown country, exploration of natural wilderness, or deep sea diving. But now we are running out of space and time, seemingly.
Our focus has turned to the planets and stars. So, we look to our Space Brothers for help.
It’s a Test
If you follow the thread of what all the philosophers and mystics have been telling us since time immemorial, you will notice an interesting theme. The Golden Rule is the way it has been stated in the New Testament.
“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Matthew 7:12)
Why would this same idea be presented over and over again in all societies and in all religious beliefs? Because it is the key to changing us and the world around us. In other words, when we realize that we are all in this together, everything will change for the better.
The Twilight Zone
For more than 50 years, we have been in this strange “twilight zone’ between what we, as a race, were in the past, and what we are becoming in the future.
The social networks are trying to wake us up to our potential. The ones in control don’t want this to happen because they are the only people who are supposed to survive and thrive when the world gets destroyed. They hope to hop a rocket to Mars, and leave us to our demise.
You don’t have to believe this to be true in order for it to happen. Look around you: we’re killing each other for whatever meagre resources remain, while they are laughing all the way to the bank.
When we will ever learn? (Paraphrased from Pete Seeger’s “Where Have All The Flowers Gone?”)
So I’m going to present you with an earth-shaking thought:
What if the Beings of Light are actually ourselves from the future, coming back to our past to help guide us to our better selves?
