You may be surprised to see this quote from Isaiah 53:3a.  I know I was when I began to hear it every time I woke up in the night. But you need to be able to read ‘between the lines’ to understand why this sentence is appropriate.

Mars

Yesterday, when I was posting the astrological chart for the founding of Rome, I had the urge to look what significance, if any, that the planet Mars had. (My conscious thinking was that Mars was purported to be the twins’ father.) As I was typing out the words, I began to recognize Donald Trump in what was being written. At the back of my mind, I knew there was a connection, but it had slipped from my awareness.

Here is what I wrote ‘way back when’ I did his birth chart:

Mars in Leo

You have a great deal of pride, and you enjoy doing things on your own initiative. An appeal to your sense of fairness brings out the best in you, and you will do anything to maintain these qualities. If you know that someone is relying on you, you work very hard to live up to that person’s expectations. On the other hand, you are sometimes quite touchy about your sense of dignity. (#timesup, #metoo) And the Out of Shadows documentary video, mentioned in yesterday’s post about it being Biblical, reminded me of a book I read years ago, called Hollywood Babylon. Those were the days that you sold your soul to the studios to be a megastar. Oh, just like now…

Sodom and Gomorrah. When men could be men with whomever they pleased. Who wants to pass the pillar of salt? (A bit Martian, that.)

Trump has had a long connection with Hollywood and the TV industry. Have you ever consciously thought about that? Check out his IMDb account. Now, it’s becoming clear…

Tax Returns

If you have nothing to hide, why would you need to keep your tax returns from public scrutiny? What is there that you don’t want anyone to see? (Do you see how theorists come up with their ideas?) Have you been financed by someone that would compromise your apparent independence? Have you been blackmailed? What’s up with that?

The Grand Old Party

This is the one thing that makes me think Donald Trump is a Democratic ‘plant’. He has taken the Republicans in, hook, line and sinker. He wants to make it into his own party.

I cannot remember a time when a President has fought with his ‘nominal’ backers as Trump has done for the past three and a quarter years. He doesn’t take advice easily, for one thing. And he certainly doesn’t toe the party line. Experts on all sides are exasperated by his constant tweeting. It’s impossible to keep on ‘message’ when the top guy says what he likes, what he doesn’t like, and who he hates. Only Kellyanne Conway seems immune, for some reason. I wonder why… Could she be his ‘handler’?

We’ve come a long way from the title of this Op-Ed. (Yes, and please remember that these thoughts are musings, for your amusement.)
