Francis of Assisi (1881 – October 3, 1226)

This is another one of my totally speculative posts. Saint Francis of Assisi is one of those people in history that had an obscure beginning, but a glorious end. But, as ‘luck’ would have it, his chart was already on my Kepler 7.0 program. Can I trust the information it contains, or should I just ignore it?
No guesses which I will choose.

To have him be born on the day before his feast day in the new Gregorian calendar seems a bit of a stretch, but it works in a weird way. The inconjuncts between the Moon and Uranus in Taurus with Mercury in Libra, coupled with the Sun @ 10° Libra inconjunct Jupiter @ 8° Taurus, gives this chart its ‘otherworldly’ feel. And the Neptune @ 3° Aquarius (conjunct his Ascendant @ 29° Capricorn 49′) inconjunct Pluto @ 3° Cancer 33′ makes this feel very much like the energies of Jesus, a man Francis sought to emulate completely. (The reason for this statement will be obvious later.)
Mars and the South Node conjunct @ 20° Capricorn in the 12th House will also feature prominently, I suspect.
His Death Chart

This chart was set by me with the Old Style date of October 3, 1226. That equates to October 10th, New Style. The timing is randomized. There is a lot of energy not yet brought into harmony. This implies the need to further reincarnate. This brings me to the idea that Pope Francis may have taken his name, and his mantle. See where I’m going with this? No? Read on…
Quad Chart Featuring the Buddha, Jesus, Francis and Pope Francis.

If you are an Astrologer, this combination will seem unlikely, too. But there it is in the lines of these combined charts. Pope Francis’ Ascendant @ 10° Cancer is conjunct Francis’ Pluto, Jesus’ Midheaven and the Buddha’s Uranus. That’s the thread of a spiritual heritage. Even Francis’ Ascendant is conjunct Jesus’ Mercury @ 29° Capricorn. The Buddha’s Part of Fortune is within 3° of them.
Pope Francis’ Uranus is closely conjunct Francis’ Moon, Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in Taurus. That’s enough for now.

A credo for us all.
