When There is Enough Light Shining
In my dream (from early this morning), different Miller family members were assembled in a living room setting. There were several lamps scattered around the room. My ‘job’ was to turn the lamps on, not to flood the place with too much light, but just enough to illuminate the scene pleasantly, so that the ambiance was enhanced.
Sometimes, I think my posts here on Starlogic.ca are trying to do the same. However, I don’t get a lot of feedback, so my overall feeling is one of not being understood.
The number of posts I’ve written over the past eight years has exceeded 3,200. Over time, I’ve whittled that number down to just under 3,000 and I wish there was some way to share the more interesting ones without re-posting them. The tags are a clue to their content, and the categories are the generalized headings, but there isn’t a search engine for anyone wanting to look at relevant posts on my page.
My son, Derek, has made the point that by blogging here on WordPress, I’ve preserved my thinking for future generations, long after I’m gone. That’s some comfort, I guess.
In the long run, if you want to understand what’s going on, you must pull back the curtains and pull up the Venetian blinds, to let the sunshine in. Bless.
Perfect song choice xx
