Barbault Basket (July 19, 2026)

The quote that I’ve used as the title of this post comes from Jesus’ rebuke of Peter when he cut the ear of the servant of the High Priest of Israel during Jesus’ arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. (Matthew 26:52)

I don’t want to be a Cassandra but the optimism of other astrologers about the upcoming event that is triggered by the rare planetary alignment on this date is too much ‘wishful thinking’. It’s like the world has to go through something shocking in order to wake people up to a much greater reality.

The slower planets (Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) are all at 4° of their particular signs. That’s the basket that Barbault saw in 1990. His focus was actually on aspects between Saturn and Neptune, so it is a stretch to suggest that Jupiter could be substituted for Saturn and still have some revolution or another come to pass. But I digress. I set the clock for 10 am in Washington D.C. to see how everything lined up. That’s when I realized that the Moon could be a trigger of sorts. There is one inconjunct linking Saturn and the Virgo Ascendant.

This put me in mind of the 47th President of the United States. So I compared his chart to the event.

There are no interactive inconjuncts, so this may not be about him. But his Neptune is within 1° of the event’s Moon. Hmm.

We’ll just have to wait for the events of the day to unfold.
