On This Day in 1999

The Euro Becomes Official (January 1, 1999)

You cannot have a union of countries unless and until those countries have a common currency. Think, American dollars. In reality, the European Union became official with the adoption of the Euro.

I set the clock for this chart to one second past midnight, Central European Time. Three inconjuncts were operating. These aspects may explain why the EU is a bit hit and miss in political terms.

Moon Inconjunct Venus

You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet.

Planets in Youth (page 119) by Robert Hand (1977)

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. You may have been made to feel that only work is important, that play serves no useful purpose.

Ibid (page 303)

Neptune Inconjunct Midheaven

Your natural tendency is to yield to authority, so that those people who are most influential in your life should be very careful about how they exercise their authority over you. If they try to control you too much, or if they make you feel that you just aren’t able to manage your own affairs, it will be difficult to correct the effects of this negative influence later in life.

Enough said?

Can We Prove Trudeau’s Paternity Once and For All?

Fidel Castro (August 13, 1924 – November 25, 2016)

versus

Pierre Trudeau (October 18, 1919 – September 28, 2000)

Probably, only Margaret knows for sure. But there seems to be something about the rumours of Castro being his true father. Their similar look is the first indicator.

Margaret states that three weeks after she married Pierre Trudeau when she was just 22 years old, she got pregnant with her first child. That kind of puts paid to Fidel Castro, doesn’t it? Well, doesn’t it?

Looking at Castro’s chart, there are three obvious links: Justin’s Mars is conjunct Castro’s Uranus; Justin’s South Node is within 4° of Castro’s Mercury; and, finally, Justin’s Ascendant lines up with both Margaret’s Saturn and Castro’s Neptune in a wide conjunction. Is that enough?

What links Pierre’s chart with Justin’s? Justin’s Midheaven/Saturn conjunction is opposite Margaret’s Ascendant and Pierre’s North Node; Justin’s South Node is within 5° of Pierre’s Neptune; and, finally, Justin’s Ascendant is within 4° of Pierre’s Mars. Again, not a huge amount of links, but definitely some important ones.

Is this photo proof of anything? No, because the child is another of Margaret’s boys, not Justin. When Castro died, Justin had nice things to say about him, and that got him into trouble with the Canadian Press. For that reason, he didn’t attend Castro’s funeral.

So, to answer the question posed in this post’s title: no, we cannot prove Justin Trudeau’s paternity.

Today in History, Queen Victoria Chooses…

Ottawa as the New Capital of Canada (December 31, 1857)

It was a surprisingly bold move.

On New Years Eve 1857, Queen Victoria was given the task of choosing the Province of Canada’s new capital. This was merely symbolic, however. The responsibility for choosing a capital city was given to the Executive Branch of the provincial government. Queen Victoria, however, chose Ottawa as the new capital of the Province of Canada.

worldatlas.com

I’ve set the clock for noon, London time. You’ll be surprised by the resulting aspects.

There are three inconjuncts, forming two interactive Yods, one pointing at Venus, the other at Uranus. Hmm.

Because the politics in Canada are so volatile, at the moment, I wondered what today’s transits are.

Hmm, again. The transiting Moon is now opposite 1857’s Moon. The Sun is within 1°. Uranus is about 2°. Neptune is only 7° further than its 1857 placement. The Yods are still active between the charts as a result, but this time pointing at the 1857 Mars and today’s Uranus. I think that says it all.

2025 will be a year of dramatic change in Canada, politically and otherwise. Hopefully, the country will survive. After all, it doesn’t want to become the 51st American state.

Is This Event a Continuation of the Miracle of Fatima?

The Battle of Los Angeles (February 24-25, 1942)

According to David Wilcock in a recent marathon YouTube video from his Divine Cosmos channel, this WWII event is yet another warning about a need for Peace in the world. In other words, not an attack from Japan, but an Unidentified Flying Object, sent to us as a warning from the Cosmic Brotherhood.

Having never lived through this, in my present incarnation, I have no firm opinion, but it is interesting that the American government suggested that it was a ‘false’ alarm.

Because David thinks this is the ‘second’ warning from the Virgin Mary’s Immaculate Heart, I thought it might be interesting to compare the two charts to see what comes up.

Hmm. The conjunction between the Jupiter in Gemini position of both charts (within 1°) is significant, in my humble opinion. The WWII position of Pluto is within 3° of the WWI Neptune. And the LA Part of Fortune is in opposition to the Fatima Sun. Maybe the LA Moon triggered the Fatima Pluto/South Node conjunction in Cancer. These aspects certainly have a Cosmic connection feel to them.

He was the Longest Living Former President of the USA

James Earl Carter, Jr (October 1, 1924 – December 29, 2024)

“Jimmy” Carter was a complicated man, according to one of his biographers. This may be true.

This birth chart was already on my computer program, so I think we can trust the timing. There are three inconjuncts.

Mars Inconjunct Midheaven

This aspect can mean that you have mixed feelings about all authority figures, including your parents. You may feel that you have to violate the rules laid down by your parents in order to get your way. This is a significant problem, because if it continues into adulthood, you will have great difficulties with employers. Therefore it is very important that your parents teach you how to express your self-assertive drives without going against their teachings. Unfortunately it is impossible to state how that should be done, because the conflict between self-will, on one hand, and self-denial and work, on the other, is different for each person.

Planets in Youth (page 245) by Robert Hand (1977)

Jupiter Inconjunct Pluto

You have a great deal of creative power, and the major challenge of your life will be learning how to handle it. First of all, you must realize that you will get the most out of life if you direct your energies toward helping the people around you and those you love. You will want to change many conditions in the world, which is fine as long as your reasons are not purely selfish ones.

Even at best you will get a certain amount of resistance from others, because they will feel your energy and be afraid of your motives. Unless you show them that your motives are good and that you can be reasoned with, you will run into opponents who are more powerful than you, who will stop you and make your efforts futile.

Ibid (page 272)

Uranus Inconjunct Neptune (1893-1896 and 1924-1927)

This aspect indicates changes in the world of the people who were born at these times, changes that were difficult to understand because they were very revolutionary but subtle in many ways. The people born during the first period experienced the consequences of these changes through having to fight in the First World War. The second group reached maturity at the time of the Great Depression. Both the First World War and the Depression were expressions of the breakdown of the nineteenth-century world order that was dominated by Western Europe.

Ibid (pages 319-320)

Interestingly enough, the gas rationing of the late 1970’s created a Recession for the United States.

Carter died yesterday. I thought it might yield something interesting if I compared his birth and death charts. His ‘fatal’ Jupiter is in the opposite position of his natal Jupiter. The ‘fatal’ Mars is opposite to his ‘fatal’ Pluto. But the most interesting is the (almost) exact conjunction between Carter’s natal Mars and his ‘fatal’ Venus. Obviously his love for Rosalynn pulled him into joining her on the other side. Wow.

Rest in Peace, Mr. and Mrs. Carter.

The Catholic Saint who Saw a Vision of Divine Mercy

Faustina Kowalska (August 25, 1905 – October 15, 1938)

I was alerted to this Catholic Saint by a YouTube video today.

This timing was noted on her birth certificate. There is one inconjunct, only.

Mercury Inconjunct Ascendant

You are likely to have some problems, but not serious ones, in communicating with others. The problems is that people’s first impression of you may not fit with what you say or your manner of thinking and speaking. People tend to hear what they expect to hear, and they may not listen to you as carefully as they should. So you will have to be as clear as possible and insist that others listen to what you are really saying. If others do not understand you, it is up to you to set them straight.

Planets in Youth (page 175) by Robert Hand (1977)

The Vision of Jesus Christ (February 22, 1931)

This timing could be earlier or later, but 8:30 pm was the time I was given. Mercury is now inconjunct Pluto. Wow.

Kowalska wrote that on the night of Sunday, 22 February 1931, while she was in her cell in Płock, Jesus appeared wearing a white garment with red and pale rays emanating from his heart. In her diary (Notebook I, Items 47 and 48), she wrote that Jesus told her:

Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: “Jesus, I trust in You” (in Polish: “Jezu, ufam Tobie”). I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and then throughout the world. I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish.

Not knowing how to paint, Kowalska approached some other nuns at the convent in Płock for help, but she received no assistance. Three years later, after her assignment to Vilnius, the first artistic rendering of the image was produced under her direction.

Wikipedia

The Vision’s Midheaven/Jupiter conjunction is also conjunct to Faustina’s natal Neptune. The Vision’s Neptune is conjunct Faustina’s natal Sun. This is essentially a spiritual event to pass on a message from Christ to his Church. Here is the finished product:

“Jesus, I trust in you.”

There’s Seems to be a Preponderance of It This Year

Wishful Thinking

Unfortunately, wishing for something different doesn’t make it so.

Those on the Left of the political divide now know what it feels like when their candidate doesn’t win the Presidential Election. In place of any physical proof that someone or another ‘cheated’, there are a lot of alternative reasons as to how this will still turn out to be a win for the Democrats. Conspiracy theories aren’t the purview of the liberal mind, so that is why I’ve called it “wishful thinking”.

Will the anti-MAGA Left storm the Capitol on January 6th? No. But there is still a small hope that something ‘otherworldly’ will take place before then. OK, folks, let’s be real: if you want to preserve Democracy, as practiced in the United States of America, Trump should become president #47 on January 20th. Only Divine Intervention could stop it. Is that what you really, really want? Really?

When Asked He Said He Didn’t Want to Leave Any:

“Last Words” by George Carlin (November 10, 2009)

This book was a surprise Christmas gift from my wife, Susan. She said that she was drawn to it when looking at a used book stand at a Christmas market. I don’t think she could have picked a better book.

I set the clock for a few minutes after midnight. Any later and the inconjunct linking the Moon and Uranus would have been lost. I suspect this aspect would have tickled George’s sense of humour.

Moon Inconjunct Uranus

With this aspect you must learn to control sudden outbursts of emotion that occur at difficult times when you least expect it. Also your present home life may not be a stable situation in which you can grow up emotionally secure and confident. A particular incident when you were very young may have given you the feeling that you can’t count on anything or anyone for support. Later in life, you may try very hard to get away from anything that reminds you of your earliest childhood, even if your childhood has not been difficult. You just feel that you have to get away and go somewhere else.

Planets in Youth (page 130) by Robert Hand (1977)

See what I mean? Because J.M. Barrie had this same aspect in his birth chart, it made me wonder if they were linked. However, George Carlin was born five weeks before J.M. Barrie died.

It made me also wonder if this autobiographical, but posthumous, book may have really encapsulated his entire life’s story. I guess I’ll find out once I start reading it.

The strongest line-ups between these two charts connect to the Last Words’ North and South Nodes: they align to Carlin’s natal Jupiter/Pluto opposition. That totally makes sense, at least to me. He had some final thoughts that he wanted to share with the world, and as always they would be dynamic.

Amen.
