Andrew Scheer Bites the Bullet
When I originally wrote about the upcoming 12/12 Full Moon, earlier this month, I pictured, in my mind’s eye, Donald Trump quitting as President. Turns out, I was partially right (a Conservative leader resigned his position), but also partially wrong (Canada, not the U.S.)
On December 12th, Andrew Scheer announced that he was stepping down as leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. He claimed it was the fact that he was missing seeing his children grow up. That confirms the emotional part of the Venus/Saturn/Pluto connection for the day. But the other two elements (conservatism and exposure) were represented fully, too. The CPC were out to get rid of him, and the rumour mill hinted that party funds were financing his children’s education. Oops.
This was the man who felt that Justin Trudeau was too privileged to be in touch with everyday folk, like Scheer felt himself to be.
What is it about politics that brings out the worst in people? Scheer hypocrisy…
