An Over-Active Imagination

It’s getting to the point of ridiculous: every time I pluck a name and memory out of the history books, I get a connection to me. Is this Egotism gone mad?
In the case of Phineas Quimby, I find myself face-to-face with (perhaps) the basis of my interest in Hypnotherapy. That makes me want to investigate our astrological connections.

Hmm. Nothing is ‘exact’, but there are some very close aspects which bring to mind a similar trend in thinking. My Mercury is conjunct Quimby’s Mars; my Sun is conjunct his Venus; my Pluto is conjunct his Midheaven; and Quimby’s South Node is about 4° from my Saturn. (Yes, we have no bananas, we have no bananas, today.)

Quimby’s death chart has a stellium of four planets, two lights and the Midheaven in Capricorn, with his ‘fatal’ Sun, Moon and Midheaven conjunct my Mercury @ 24°. And our North/South Nodes are reversed, with my Midheaven being ‘influenced’ by (and in opposition to) his ‘fatal’ Neptune @ 8° Aries. And, most conclusively, our positions of Uranus are (almost) exactly conjunct @ 1° Cancer. Even my natal Moon gets in on the act with Quimby’s ‘fatal’ Saturn in Scorpio. (You cannot make this shit up…)
Conclusion
If I were a betting man, I’d probably place a huge wager that even though sooo many lives are overlapping, my Oversoul has wanted to ensure that I get to play many roles in this story. Even though this makes me look like some kind of fabulist, I must explain that this is not my intention. I come back to the same truth, time and time again: we are One.
Man’s belief in religion and disease is all founded on the opinion that man must die or lose his life; therefore, we are called upon to do something to save it. This keeps man in ignorance of himself or life and all the time troubled from fear of death. Now destroy man’s belief and introduce God’s truth and then we are set free from this world of error and introduced into the world of light or science where there is no death but the living God or science. This science will lead us along to that happy state where there is no sickness or sorrow or grief,
there to be in the presence of this great truth that will watch us and hold us in the hollow of its hand and will be to us a light that will open our eyes. We shall not then be deceived by the blind guides who say, ‘Peace, peace,’ where there is no peace. Then we shall call no one master or leader for there is only one that leads us and that is God. He puts no restrictions upon us for our lives are in His hands or science, but our happiness or misery is in our belief.” —Phineas Parkhurst Quimby, June, 1860

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
