Celina Smith (May 12, 2008?)

OK. This is one for the books. There is a decided lack of birth information for this young lady. That may have been by design because the role she played last night in Annie Live! (on NBC) was supposed to be just 11. Most online reports suggest that she is 12. Only a few admit that she’s actually 13. And where she was born might have been muddled up with another individual with the same name. But, nevertheless, I have raised a birth chart for her, with these conflicting bits of birth data.

The timing is randomized (and may need tweaking to get it right). In the meantime, it’s all we have to work with. There is one inconjunct which does not depend on an accurate birth time.

Mars Inconjunct Pluto

You have a strong will and always want to have your own way. But very often it seems as if tremendous forces are working to prevent you from getting what you want. If you have this problem, it is because of the way you go about trying to achieve your goals. If you put too much force into your desire to get something, you may unknowingly alienate people because your aggressive manner shows that you will let nothing stop you from getting what you want. Even if this isn’t the way you really feel about it, you should recognize that your forcefulness creates this impression.

A New Aretha Franklin?

This is a picture of Aretha at about 12 years of age. Do you see the similarity? Because I know that Aretha died about 10 years after Celina was born, I wonder if this is one of those situations that I’ve seen in the past where a soul on its way out partially inhabits a new life in order to be ready when they die.

Since Celina’s Moon, Ascendant and Midheaven are not to be relied upon, I will focus on other things when comparing their charts. Aretha’s Ascendant is opposite Celina’s Venus, while Celina’s Mars is conjunct Aretha’s Pluto. Also, Aretha’s Midheaven is conjunct Celina’s South Node, a sure sign of continuity between them. At the same time, Celina’s North Node/Neptune is conjunct Aretha’s Venus. Celina’s Sun is conjunct Aretha’s Saturn, and Celina’s Mercury is partway between Aretha’s Mars/Jupiter conjunction. These two ‘feel’ connected. I’m not the only one who thinks so…
