Parody: The Band that Wasn’t and then Was

The Rutles

I’ll bet you’re wondering why I should be writing about this nonexistent group. Well, it’s simple, I was looking for some photos of the Beatles concert at Maple Leaf Gardens on August 17, 1966, and came across this image:

Right away, I could tell it’s not the Beatles, but when I looked at the date the photograph was taken, it was 50 years to the day that the Beatles played there. Then I twigged onto the thought: it’s the Rutles.

Literally, this is a cash grab, but full of nostalgic moments, and brilliant jokes. Long live the Rutles (and the Beatles).

I am an Astrologer who also writes about world events. My first eBook "At This Point in Time" is available through most on-line book stores. I have now serialized my second book "The Star of Bethlehem" here. And I am experimenting with birth and death charts. If you wish to contact me, or request a birth chart, send an email to (And, in case you are also interested, I have an extensive list of celebrity birth and death details if you wish to 'confirm' what you suspect may be a past-life experience of yours.) Bless.
