“Talking Out of Both Sides of His Mouth”

Cecco d’Ascoli (Burned at the Stake – September 16, 1327)

I knew eventually that I would come across an individual that was burned at the stake for his beliefs. Cecco d’Ascoli seems to fit the bill. Justin Sledge’s video discussion about him is very tongue-in-cheek:

The point that caught my attention was his ‘audacity’ to claim that Jesus’ life was determined by his birth chart, and astrological aspects and events. Okay, this is significant. His necromancy (working with demons) also foreshadows Dr. John Dee’s angelic alphabet, as developed through Edward Kelley’s scrying. You see, it’s all connected. Let’s look at his ‘fatal’ chart (since we do not have his birth details).

I suspect he was burned at the stake in the morning, but I have no ‘proof’ of the time, so I’m going with the usual noon-time death, just to be sure that we’ve caught the energies for the day of his death. There is one inconjunct, but I usually don’t delineate aspects from a death chart.

Cecco d’Ascoli left many works in manuscript, most of which have never been published. The book by which he achieved his renown and which led to his death was the Acerba (from acervus), an encyclopaedic poem, of which in 1546, the date of the last reprint, more than twenty editions had been issued. It is a compendium for the contemporary natural science of the time, including “the order and influences of the heavens, the characteristics and properties of animals and precious stones, the causes of phenomena such as meteors and earthquakes—and of commonplace moral philosophy”. The work actually consists of four books in sesta rima (six-line stanzas in a specific rhyming scheme). The first book treats of astronomy and meteorology; the second of astrology, of physiognomy, and of the vices and virtues; the third of minerals and of the love of animals; while the fourth propounds and solves a number of moral and physical problems. Of a fifth book, on theology, the initial chapter alone was completed.

Publications (Wikipedia)

Originally, in my past life analyses, I related 1330 to a Cathar lifetime (based on the position of my natal Moon in Scorpio). Now I know that Cecco would be a correct fit for that timing. You will need to see how this death lines up with me, in order to understand that this is not my imagination going wild.

Cecco’s ‘fatal’ North Node is conjunct my natal Saturn in Virgo. His ‘fatal’ Neptune is about 5° from my natal Ascendant in Sagittarius. His ‘fatal’ Uranus is within 2° of my natal Venus in Aquarius. His ‘fatal’ Moon/Mars conjunction in Libra is about 6° from my natal Mars/South Node conjunction. It all fits.

The quote in the title of this post is an echo of my habit of hedging my bets: hence, a Gnostic Christian.

Once an Investigator, Always an Investigator?

Harry Houdini (March 24, 1874 – October 31, 1926)

We watched the last episode of Houdini, last night. It was interesting that I knew (or remembered) so many of the details of his life and death. Harry Houdini was a conflicted man: he wanted to believe that there was life after death, especially where his beloved mother was concerned, but he kept coming up against shoddy séance mediums.

Houdini’s training in magic allowed him to expose frauds who had successfully fooled many scientists and academics. He was a member of a Scientific American committee that offered a cash prize to any medium who could successfully demonstrate supernatural abilities. None were able to do so, and the prize was never collected. The first to be tested was medium George Valiantine of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. As his fame as a “medium-buster” grew, Houdini took to attending séances in disguise, accompanied by a reporter and a police officer. Possibly the most famous medium who he debunked was Mina Crandon, also known as “Margery”

Debunking Spiritualists (Wikipedia)

Before his untimely death, Houdini promised his wife Bess that he would attempt to contact her from the Other Side. Every year on the anniversary of his death (Hallowe’en), she held a séance to get in touch with him, but nothing came through. After ten years, she stopped.

Houdini and his ‘two sweethearts’ 1907

This birth time seems to be everywhere, including on my astrology program, so I will go with it. That debunking energy looks to come from the Moon in Scorpio being in opposition to Mars (9° wide) and Pluto (1° close) in Taurus. In other words, he wants to believe, but he’s too practical to be fooled. There is a Yod pointing at Jupiter, formed by inconjuncts to Venus and the Ascendant.

Venus Inconjunct Jupiter

On the plus side, you need love and affection, and you can usually be very warm and affectionate as well. However, it is very important that you choose your close friends carefully, because you may attract people who are difficult to get along with, who order you around or act as if they are better than you. Avoid such people, for they will do you no good.

Jupiter Inconjunct Ascendant

On the other hand, if you try to get what you want for yourself alone, especially at other people’s expense, you will find it hard to get anywhere. Also you will have difficulty maintaining your friendships and other relationships. With this aspect, being selfish could have very negative results for your eventual happiness.

“The obstacle is death…”

James Randi (August 7, 1928 – October 20, 2020)

Maybe it was the “i” at the end of his stage name that made me think of James Randi as a potential reincarnation of Houdini. They’re backgrounds are similar, and the greatest link is their investigations of the occult.

Here’s Randi’s birth chart:

Although often referred to as a “debunker”, Randi said he disliked the term’s connotations and preferred to describe himself as an “investigator”. He wrote about paranormal phenomena, skepticism, and the history of magic. He was a frequent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, famously exposing fraudulent faith healerPeter Popoff, and was occasionally featured on the television program Penn & Teller: Bullshit!

Wikipedia

I looked at that North/South Node connection to the opposition between the Ascendant (in Gemini) and Saturn (in Sagittarius) and went, “Really?” I had just done Houdini’s death chart and a similar aspect was evident there, too. But it was reversed and opposed to Pluto. But don’t take my word for it…

These Two Link to Biden: They Will Match Each Other

Servius Galba (3 BC – 69 AD) and Theodosius I (347 – 395)

This is proof that karmic astrology works, even when it seems impossible to believe…

OK?

Once a Christian, Always a Christian?

Theodosius I (January 11, 347 – January 17, 395)

Again, I cannot take credit for this karmic matchup; this combination was suggested by Ahtun Re in the reincarnation research. Theodosius I was the last emperor of the full Roman Empire. When he died the empire was divided into Eastern and Western spheres with his weaker sons in control. That may be significant, later, when we look at his modern incarnation.

This birth chart is randomized. There are two inconjuncts, both independent of a correct birthtime.

Sun Inconjunct Moon

This aspect suggests that there is a subtle conflict going on inside you that may sometimes create emotional problems. It is as if you are divided in two, so that whenever you have to make an important decision, especially one that involves your feelings, the different sides of your personality want to go in opposite directions.

Jupiter Inconjunct Uranus

You will always need freedom, but you will also discover that what you do with your life will have meaning only if it means something to others. When you do, you may become heavily involved in some social movement that advocates unusual ideas or ways of thinking.

(That makes sense when you consider how Theodosius I basically put down a resurgence of paganism.)

So who did he reincarnate as?

Joseph Biden (November 20, 1942)

I know: this comparison is based on a younger version of Joe Biden’s face. Still, it works, doesn’t it?

The chart matchups are interesting, too. My ‘accidental’ choice of Theodosius’ birth time is almost exactly conjunct Biden’s Saturn. Hmm. Other connections are obvious, too. So that’s another one for the books. (And, in case you want to see a statue that looks more realistic than the one used above, check this image out:)

Once a Suffragette, Always a Suffragette?

Carrie Chapman Catt (January 9, 1859 – March 9, 1947)

This is my second attempt at writing this post. (And when a prior attempt fails, I secretly wonder why.)

Carrie Chapman Catt was a leader of the Women’s Suffrage Movement in the United States. Her story is interesting, to say the least. Perhaps we need to look at the long game to understand what the Universe intends. That is why I do this reincarnation research.

As her birth time is unknown, I have rectified her birth chart to indicate a father figure marriage (Saturn) at age 26. That may be inspired thinking, or it may be completely wrong, but there are two inconjuncts that are independent of a correct birth time. They may give us a glance behind the lace curtains of her life. However, I won’t delineate them here, as they may be too revealing.

So, who might she have reincarnated as?

Kamala Harris (October 20, 1964)

Surprised?

Let’s compare their charts together to ‘prove’ whether Ahtun Re is right or wrong, this time…

Yes, I think we have liftoff. Of course, the idea that Kamala Harris is on the threshold of being the first woman to be President of the United States absolutely shows that the Universe knows what it’s doing.

Karma Chameleon: Same Party, Different State

Robert F. Kennedy (1925 – 1968) and Beto O’Rourke (1972)

After looking at Vivek Ramaswamy this morning, and wondering who he might have been the reincarnation of, I did a little digging and found Ahtun Re’s confirmation of these two. Hmm.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Ahtun Re is perhaps more attuned to the Akashic Records than I am, because every one of his confirmations seem to be spot-on, astrologically. What makes it frustrating is the fact that I can never truly predict which pairs are karmically linked, unless I’m given a spiritual prompt. When the prompts come (in many different synchronicities), I pay attention.

Every day is like survival (survival)
You’re my lover, not my rival
Every day is like survival (survival)
You’re my lover, not my rival

I’m a man, without conviction
I’m a man, who doesn’t know
How to sell a contradiction
You come and go, you come and go

Karma, karma, karma, karma
Karma chameleon
You come and go, you come and go
Loving would be easy, if your colors were like my dreams
Red, gold, and green
Red, gold, and green

With Trump Around, Who Wants a Cover Band?

Vivek Ramaswamy (August 9, 1985)

It’s perhaps quite telling that this individual is running for President at about the same age as John F. Kennedy was when he ran in 1960. Politics always need fresh faces, but this one seems a bit brash.

There are four inconjuncts, two of which form a Yod pointing at the Moon. Hmm.

Sun Inconjunct Ascendant

You may find that no matter how hard you try to show others who you really are, they misunderstand you somehow. you are not intentionally dishonest with the world, you simply present a confusing complex of energies.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

One problem to watch out for is that because of your confusion about what others are really thinking, you may often be disappointed or hurt. People may do things that make you feel rejected and misunderstood.

Moon Inconjunct Pluto

You probably enjoy exploring the mysterious and probing hidden secrets. Even while you are young, you will understand human nature better than most people, but to use this ability positively, you must be reasonably calm about your feelings.

Venus Inconjunct Jupiter

You need love and affection, and you can usually be very warm and affectionate as well. However, it is very important that you choose your close friends carefully, because you may attract people who are difficult to get along with, who order you around or act as if they are better than you. Avoid such people, for they will do you no good.

(Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to try out for the Republican nomination for President.)

See how his words get misunderstood. Hmm.

It Was Sixty Years Ago…

“I Have a Dream” Martin Luther King, Jr. (August 28, 1963)

Black American civil rights leader Martin Luther King (1929 – 1968) addresses crowds during the March On Washington at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington DC, where he gave his ‘I Have A Dream’ speech.

This speech has become a reminder to every American that the dream is not yet a reality.

(The video goes out of sync a few times, and the words are somewhat misquoted in the overwritten subtitles, but the sound of his voice is clear and evocative and undeniable.)

The actual time of his speech is unstated in all the documentation I researched, but one site stated that it happened in the late afternoon. That was my cue to rectify the chart until the Moon was transiting the event horizon. (The Moon signifies popularity.) There are no inconjuncts…

When you compare the Speech chart with MLK Jr’s birth chart, you get the sense that this event was the culmination of his life (5 years before his assassination). The event North Node is conjunct his natal Pluto in Cancer, and the Moon/Ascendant conjunction of the Speech is conjunct his natal Saturn in Sagittarius and opposite his natal Mars in Gemini. This was his personal Gettysburg Address.

Let the bells of freedom ring…

And Speaking of Mass Hysteria…

The War of the Worlds (October 30, 1938)

I suppose I had always intended to look at this event, but needed the Great Moon Hoax as a prompt.

The chart is for the exact time the radio program was aired.

There are two inconjuncts: the Moon inconjunct the Ascendant; and Jupiter inconjunct Neptune. Hmm.

But when I combine the Moon Hoax and the broadcast charts, I see what only can be described as synchronicity.

There are too many links between these charts to be accidental. They were intended to wake us up to the future of space and the idea of aliens. That interactive Yod pointing to the War Moon (and the Moon’s Neptune) from the Moon’s Sun and the War Ascendant gives these two events a Cosmic Awakening feel.

The positions of Mars in both charts are within 3° of each other, in Libra, no less. Spiritual Warriors!

Hmm.
