Everybody in the news and entertainment industry knows that late August is the ‘silly season’. Usually nothing of note is happening; everyone’s on holiday and most governments are closed for the summer.
That was probably the mindset of the authors of the six part story line that captured the imagination of the reading public in 1835: they wanted to boost circulation, and give their audience something to think about. If it had been published on April 1st, people would have realized what was happening. Instead, the story caught the attention of New Yorkers, in much the same way that H.G. Wells’ “The War of the Worlds” did when Orson Welles narrated a radio play about Martians landing on October 30, 1938.
I knew that Neptune would figure strongly in this chart for the day the first story appeared. The fact that it is inconjunct to the Sun is proof of the newspaper’s hidden agenda. This is the energy of a confidence trickster.

Extra, extra, read all about it
You would be wise to remember: just because it’s in print (or on the internet), doesn’t mean that it’s real.
As the world slips into greater degrees of chaos and destruction, there’s a segment of society that welcomes this troubling time because they believe it will herald Jesus Christ’s return. I’ve written about this before, and my mind still conceives of the Rapture as something that happened in the first century of the Christian Era.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I watched a video today that tackles this idea head on:
In this video, some of the Bible references are re-examined, and it’s the verse before this one, shown above, that actually makes the most sense: in it, the interpretation is that the ‘military’ wording of the text invites us to imagine the emissaries of a Roman Conqueror (the Lord) coming to a small village, announcing his imminent arrival, and how the villagers will be elevated by his presence there, when he finally comes. That’s the hint that this was actually about Titus and his being Jesus resurrected. Now, doesn’t that make this whole idea of Rapture a nonsense?
In an instant, this news story went around the world. A-ha, we say, Putin got his revenge. But what if Yevgeny Prigozhin was actually on the second plane, that landed safely at St. Petersburg?
Flight data indicates that a jet registered to Wagner that Prigozhin used previously took off from Moscow on Wednesday evening and stopped transmitting signals around 6:11 p.m. local time.

One might ask: so what? Well, some people are refocusing their attention on this fashionista in order to make sense of some of her actions during the German occupation of France (1939 and onward).
This chart was already on my astrology program. Other web sites have the same time, citing her Birth Certificate. There is a Yod pointing at Pluto, formed from inconjuncts to the Ascendant and Midheaven. Hmm. If the time were any earlier or later, that Yod would disappear in a puff of smoke.

This can be an indication that through experiences with others, you will be forced to undergo many significant changes in life. At times the crises may be quite unpleasant, but for the most part the results will be very positive, although for some people, they may be less constructive. But you must be very careful about the kind of people you get involved with. Choose your friends with great care and try to find people who have a healthy outlook on life and who seem reasonably well balanced. People who are driven to extreme behavior or who act compulsively, as if they could not plan anything in advance, are not very good for you. They will get you into difficult situations that you do not need.

Needless to say, she was never sanctioned for her time at The Ritz in Paris during WWII, and that immunity from prosecution may have been in part by the actions of Winston Churchill, or, more than likely, the British Royal Family.
Believe it or not, this ‘civil war’ happened over 30 years ago. It is also a template for the Ukraine War.
She’s right: no one wants to talk about the threat of civil war, but facts are facts, and truth is truth. Hmm.
This timing is randomized. There appear to be a few ‘triggers’: a T-square pointing at the Sun, from an opposition of Uranus and Neptune conjunct to the Cancer Ascendant; the Moon in opposition to Pluto; and an opposition between Mars and Jupiter. There is one inconjunct:
Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant
With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. This attitude may have developed because you were discouraged from enjoying yourself when you were younger. I never thought I’d say this, but I was wrong. Gerry Stamford (the British Labour member) in her book is a composite of both Olof Palme and Andrew Peacock. In the TV miniseries, he was played by Charles Dance. Hence, the title…
I have just one post script: our mother thought that my daughter, Amy, was the spitting image of a young Shirley MacLaine. I always thought so, too.

I usually don’t look at Australian politicians, but I’ll make an exception for Andrew Peacock. And, by now, you know why: his association with Shirley MacLaine. What is interesting is the press decided that the British Labour leader in Ms. MacLaine’s book “Out On A Limb” was based on this man, but I suspect that, in reality, her time with him was way after the events of the book. Anyway, here’s his chart:
Peacock’s birth time is unknown so I have rectified his chart to represent the age (24) when he first married (Venus). That presents us with one inconjunct linking the Sun and Neptune. Hmm.

Dating American actress Shirley MacLaine, hobnobbing with global socialite Ira von Furstenberg, being a regular at dinner parties in Bel-Air in Los Angeles and Palm Beach in Florida, may have been fodder for the gossip writers, and fed the resentment of drab political figures. But the Peacock ledger is more than balanced by his remarkable contribution.
At a personal level, a common refrain from those who knew him, including political opponents, was that Andrew Peacock made people feel good. He was an enlarger.

So, What About His Relationship with Shirley MacLaine?
Well, astrologically, they are very well suited together.
Again, Ms. MacLaine’s Saturn (father figure) is within 3° of Peacock’s Sun. That would make him very attractive to her. His Saturn is conjunct her Mercury, while his Mercury is conjunct her North Node. Their communication level is very deep. Even that Neptune in his chart is within 7° of her Ascendant.
Although at first glance, it would appear that nothing connects them, look again: Palme’s Venus (love interest) is conjunct Ms. MacLaine’s Saturn (father figure). Believe me, it’s enough to build a relationship on, even if only for a little while.

I suppose, at the back of our minds, we knew this already. But it has been brought to front of mind while reading “The Day After Roswell”. The tradeoff of alien technology to reverse-engineer weaponry is no surprise, but the United States has been at pains to keep their secrets exactly that: secret.
