A Month in Politics is a Long Time

We’re Back!

Even a weekend is enough to change everything. A month ago, I suggested that Trump had accomplished what he set out to do: defeat Biden.

But Trump didn’t reckon on Democrats from the South deciding that Joe Biden was the man to represent their needs on the political stage in Washington, D.C.

So, now what?

(I noticed something on the CBS coverage of the Super Tuesday voting: after each candidate’s name in brackets is their party affiliation and the state they represent. I’m not sure if I’d been blind to it before, but Bernie Sanders’ was “I – NH”. Subtle, to be sure, but intending to show that he is an Independent running as a Democrat. Says a lot.)

If Joe Biden is definitely thinking that the African-American voters are his ticket to the White House, he had better sweet talk Kamala Harris into being his running mate.

Now, what are the odds of that happening?
