Her Life is Preparing for the Next Adventure

Shirley MacLaine (April 24, 1934)

Shirley MacLaine has been on Ellie’s mind for a little while. So, she decided to do a Tarot reading about her. The full reading video follows:

As a lifelong follower of Ms. MacLaine, I can confirm that some of those ‘concerning’ cards are probably true, especially if she’s anxious to move forward into her next stage of life. So, I’m finally looking at her birth chart today.

This birth time is considered ‘excellent’. That means we can rely upon the double Yod pointing at her Virgo Ascendant. There is also an inconjunct linking Venus and Jupiter. (Four inconjuncts in total.)

Venus Inconjunct Jupiter

This can be a positive aspect if you learn to control some of its negative possibilities. You are likely to lack energy and to be rather passive. You may wait for opportunities to come to you, rather than go after them. You may not have enough energy to pursue your ambitions, or you may not have much ambition. Or you may love your comfort so much that you are unwilling to make any effort or put up with any pain that could help you grow and develop. However, if there are any indications of energy in your chart [there are], they should overcome the passivity.

Mars Inconjunct Ascendant

In close relationships you have to learn to compromise. Initially you may come on very strong and act very aggressively toward someone you are interested in. But that approach only provokes conflict because the other person feels threatened. If you learn to take a softer approach, you will be able to get what you want, within reason, without having to fight for it.

Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant

On occasion this aspect indicates frail physical health, which can be corrected only by paying a great deal of attention to hygiene, personal health habits and proper diet. However, this aspect may also signify that you worry too much about your health. Try not to be so concerned about it unless a physician has diagnosed a definite problem.

Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant

Your need for freedom may interfere with your close relationships. When you are with others, even those you like, you feel very nervous but you can’t get up and leave because you want to be with them. This is typical of the ambiguity that comes with this transit. Certainly, the more others try to restrict your freedom of movement, the more you try to get away.

(To me, these aspects confirm what Ellie got in her Tarot card reading.)

Amen.

When Your Time is Up, It’s Up!

Michael Parkinson CBE (March 28, 1935 – August 16, 2023)

Those of us on this side of the Atlantic ocean might be hard pressed to know very much about this well-loved British broadcaster. Michael Parkinson, in the UK, was a household name. He died yesterday.

I used to watch him faithfully during the 22 years I was living in England. I admired his interviewing style. But he was known to get under the skin of some of his guests, especially Meg Ryan. Interesting.

Oops. He was a Companion of the British Empire, not a full-fledged Member as I’ve shown on his birth chart. This chart is rectified to the age (24) when he married (Venus) his wife. Otherwise, his birth time is unknown. So, the two inconjuncts (one each for the Sun and the Moon) are unreliable, as the aspects involve the Ascendant and the Midheaven. But what I wanted to share with you is the Saturn return as evidenced by combining his birth and death charts. (Please note that the time of his death is only listed as ‘last night’.)

Both charts show Saturn @ 4° Pisces. The only difference is that his ‘fatal’ Saturn is Retrograde. Hmm.

Saturn Conjunct Saturn

This is one of the most important times in your life. A major cycle of experience is closing, and great changes are about to take place. This is a time of endings and new beginnings.

For sure.

Rest in Peace, sir.

It Took Less Than 75 Years for a Prediction to Come True

Is This Tomorrow? (1947)

The USA has been under attack from within its borders for a very long time. Those of us who are old enough to recall the McCarthy “Witch Hunt” of the 1950’s will probably think that time is long gone.

But it isn’t.

Outside the Pentagon there was a battle starting up all over again set to rage just as it had during the Truman and Eisenhower presidencies. Whose intelligence was accurate? Whose was truthful? Who was trying to manipulate the White House and who believed that by coloring or twisting fact that he could change the course of history? John Kennedy was leading a young administration capable of making extraordinary mistakes. And there were people at the heart of his administration whose own views of how the world should work were inspiring them to distort facts, misstate intentions, and disregard obvious realities in the hope that their views would prevail. Worse, there were those, deep within a secret government within the government, who had been placed there by the spymasters at the Kremlin.

Birnes, William J.; Corso, Philip. The Day After Roswell (p. 51). Atria Books. Kindle Edition.

Philip Corso was writing about the early 1960’s. The implied threat of the Kennedy Administration culminated in JFK’s assassination, 2 months after he sought public cooperation with the Soviet’s in the Space Race (and other technologies).

The dream died on November 22, 1963.

You can read the reason for his assassination between the lines.

In 2016, Putin (and the Russian Communist Party) got his candidate elected, against all odds, to the Presidency of the United States. But when it came time to relinquish the position in early 2021, the lines of the conflict blurred: who were the patriots, who were the insurrectionists?

The Evening that a UFO Landed in the Wrong Place

Corona, New Mexico (April 24, 1964)

According to some sources, it (the UFO) was meant to go to a meeting for a cultural exchange near Socorro, to start the epic human journey to the planet Serpo in Zeta Reticuli. A police officer, named Lonnie Zamora, saw the craft and two E.T.s. They were lost…

I am not going to confirm or deny that this event actually happened. My purpose here is to see what the astrological aspects were on that fateful night for the policeman. Note that there is but one inconjunct.

Venus Inconjunct Neptune

This aspect means that your attitudes about love and affection are very idealistic, as will become clearer later in life. Also it can be a sign of creative artistic ability.

.

You can do your own research to accept or deny this secret project. Betty and Barney Hill’s abduction plays into this same narrative.

Hmm.

Four Strikes and You’re Out?

Fulton County Indictment of Trump and 18 Others (August 14, 2023)

This may be the biggest of them all…

It really bears repeating that: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” Eventually, the truth will out.

Hmm.

When a Candidate is a Democrat in Name Only

Robert F Kennedy Jr Seems More Like a Republican

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announces his run for president on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, in Boston. (AP Photo/Josh Reynolds)

It’s a strange process for sure: I ask who would be the modern equivalent of Benedict Arnold, and the first person who comes to mind is RFK Jr. Who would dare to suggest such a thing? Me.

Does it now seem possible?

I know that Steve Bannon is stirring the political pot, as usual, but this is what was reported yesterday:

Steve Bannon suggested Sunday that a presidential ticket with former President Trump (R) as president and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (D) as vice president could result in “a massive landslide.”

Yahoo! News

This goes back to the echo of a Trump/John F Kennedy Jr prospect which QAnon suggested. Hmm.

Why Did He Do It? He “Married the Wrong Person”

Benedict Arnold (January 3, 1741 [O.S.] – June 14, 1801)

During the series 7, episode 8 (half season finale) of Outlander, we were introduced to Benedict Arnold, a man whose name is synonymous with treason (at least from the American perspective).

I rectified Arnold’s birth time, based on his father’s death (Saturn) when he was 20, and joining the Militia (Mars) @ age 16. The conjunction of the Moon and Venus in Sagittarius in his 10th House (of Career) kind of implies what the quote said about him (in the title of this post). There are two inconjuncts, one each from the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune: they might also explain why he reverted to the other side in the American Revolutionary War. Since these two both connect to the Midheaven, I cannot rely upon their correctness because of his unknown birth time, so I won’t delineate their aspects. However, I will repeat this quote from Wikipedia:

According to W. D. Wetherell, he was:

[A]mong the hardest human beings to understand in American history. Did he become a traitor because of all the injustice he suffered, real and imagined, at the hands of the Continental Congress and his jealous fellow generals? Because of the constant agony of two battlefield wounds in an already gout-ridden leg? From psychological wounds received in his Connecticut childhood when his alcoholic father squandered the family’s fortunes? Or was it a kind of extreme midlife crisis, swerving from radical political beliefs to reactionary ones, a change accelerated by his marriage to the very young, very pretty, very Tory Peggy Shippen?

Plotting to change sides

In truth, none of us can get to really know what goes on inside another person’s mind. Like Mark Antony, he may have deserted his position in one army to join another army, because of love.

If These Two Connect to Calle*, They Match Each Other

Nostradamus (1503 – 1566) and Marcus Aurelius (121 – 180)

It should have been obvious that if two individuals are seemingly connected to a modern seer, they must be connected to each other. Let’s see if it’s true.

The proof is in the putting (them together). Three positions of Saturn @ about 15° Cancer? Nostradamus’ North Node conjunct Aurelius’ ‘fatal’ Sun? Nostradamus’ Moon conjunct Aurelius’ ‘fatal’ Jupiter/South Node conjunction? Nostradamus’ Neptune conjunct Aurelius’ natal Moon? And finally, Nostradamus’ Jupiter conjunct Aurelius’ North Node? I think we have the proof. Do you agree?

The Day a Mountain of Ash Rained Down in Washington

Mount St. Helens Erupts (May 18, 1980)

We were living on East Pender, near Commercial Drive, in Vancouver, BC when this event happened. So, you could say, we had a front row seat, but from a great distance away. Once seen, never forgotten.

This is the exact timing of the first eruption. In terms of planetary influences, I might suggest that the background noise was Mars and Jupiter conjunct in Virgo. But a single line from the analysis of the only inconjunct might tell the truth. Or perhaps not.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

Do not act as if you are the victim of strong forces that you can’t control, because you can control them.

As May 18 dawned, Mount St. Helens’ activity did not show any change from the pattern of the preceding month. The rates of bulge movement and sulfur dioxide emission, and ground temperature readings did not reveal any changes indicating a catastrophic eruption. USGS volcanologist David A. Johnston was on duty at an observation post around 6 mi (10 km) north of the volcano: as of 6:00 am, Johnston’s measurements did not indicate any unusual activity.

At 8:32 am, a magnitude-5.1 earthquake centered directly below the north slope triggered that part of the volcano to slide, approximately 7–20 seconds after the shock, followed a few seconds later by the main volcanic blast. The landslide, the largest subaerial landslide in recorded history, traveled at 110 to 155 mph (177 to 249 km/h) and moved across Spirit Lake’s west arm. Part of it hit a 1,150 ft-high (350 m) ridge about 6 mi (10 km) north. Some of the slide spilled over the ridge, but most of it moved 13 mi (21 km) down the North Fork Toutle River, filling its valley up to 600 feet (180 m) deep with avalanche debris. An area of about 24 sq mi (62 km2) was covered, and the total volume of the deposit was about 0.7 cu mi (2.9 km3).

Hey Jude, Take a Sad Song and Make It Better

Julian Lennon (April 8, 1963)

If you’ve ever wondered how hard it would be to be the son of a famous person, Julian Lennon is an example. He is 60 years old now, and he’s been trying to escape the glare of publicity, until recently.

Do you want to see his birth chart?

There are four inconjuncts, two of which form a Yod pointing at Venus.

Sun Inconjunct Neptune

You are very sensitive to your environment and to the people around you. On one level of your being, you feel what is going on very acutely. Unfortunately your understanding often comes in terms that are very difficult to communicate to others, because their meaning is not clear in your own mind. Your greatest danger is in being exposed to negative people who are full of anger or depression or who act very harshly toward you and undermine your self-confidence. Your self-confidence has to be boosted at every conceivable opportunity, and it would be very destructive for you to be criticized sharply, unless the person has made it very clear that he or she loves you.

Moon Inconjunct Venus

You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet. However, you may express this in very strange ways, such as a desire for food, especially sweets, which unconsciously represent love to you.

Venus Inconjunct Mars

You must learn to control your emotions, so that your feelings do not prevent you from getting along with others. It is difficult for you to react to someone without emotions, for you tend to either love or hate people quite intensely. Your feelings are often mixed, even toward your friends. One moment you love your friend, and the next moment you hate him or her. Any little problem can set off your anger against someone, but you usually cool off quickly also.

Jupiter Inconjunct Uranus

You will always need freedom, but you will also discover that what you do with your life will have meaning only if it means something to others. This is not an artificial rule but a truth that you will discover within yourself. When you do, you may become heavily involved in some social movement that advocates unusual ideas or way of thinking. When you are an adult, you may join a movement for social reform and change.

.

This is understood, and is backed up by the inconjuncts.
