With an IQ of 260+, He was No April Fool

William James Sidis (April 1, 1898 – July 17, 1944)

This is one of those questions: nature or nurture? William James Sidis was considered a genius, but a huge part of that designation may be entirely due to his father’s approach to educating his son. I’m going to look at William’s birth chart to see how much ‘nature’ was to blame.

Most astrology sites list his birth time as unknown, so set at noon. However, one site moved the clock back 15 minutes, ostensibly to rectify the chart so that Saturn (structured learning) would occur at 11 year of age. That puts the Moon in his 1st House (of Personality). Hmm.

Strictly speaking, William has two dominating aspects: a double Grand Trine, linking the Sun/Midheaven, the Moon and Saturn/Uranus; and a T-square, linking Mars, Saturn and Pluto. (Saturn is the common denominator, usually representing the father.)

Jupiter is also in opposition to the Sun/Midheaven conjunction. This may represent his learning his numbers and alphabet by age 3, which opened his eyes (and mind) to the whole world of knowledge.

There is only one inconjunct, but it may be the key to his personality.

Moon Inconjunct Mars

If you have a good relationship with your mother, you will develop self-confidence and the ability to stand up for your rights against any obstacle. You will be courageous, and your strength will inspire others to follow where you lead. You will be independent and able to go your own way, even if others do not choose to follow. But this will happen only if you have healthy emotional experiences as a child.

Hmm.

It’s a Thought that Hadn’t Occurred Before Now

Ritual Cleansing

We’re all familiar with the First Peoples’ ritual of smudging. It seems almost logical, doesn’t it? If something is clouding your spirit, you send it away with sage smoke. Fighting fire with fire.

What I’d forgotten is how ritual cleansing is nothing new for the Abrahamic religions. In fact, their 40 days in the wilderness is symbolic of how long it takes to prepare for a spiritual encounter with angels. But what stops me in my tracks is how angels think of us humans as ‘stinking’ creatures, not worthy of their interest. Well, that opens up a new kettle of fish, doesn’t it?

‘Can you explain to me,’ I asked, ‘why just now, you were still wearing a helmet while I was able to accompany you without one, and yet now I have one while you don’t?’

‘It is very simple. We come from a planet bacteriologically different from Earth, which, for us, is a veritable culture medium. Thus, in order to contact you, I was obliged to take this basic precaution. You, yourself, were a danger to me but you are no longer.’

‘I don’t follow you.’

‘When you entered this cabin, the colour was too intense for you and I gave you the helmet you are now wearing, which was specially designed for you. Indeed, we were able to anticipate your reaction.

‘During the very short time the cabin was yellow and then blue, eighty per cent of the dangerous bacteria in you was destroyed. Then perhaps you felt a coolness in the air, similar to when an air conditioner is working; this was another form of disinfection by…let’s call it radiation, although that is not the correct word – it cannot be translated into any Earth language. In this way, I have been disinfected one hundred per cent, but you still have enough bacteria to harm us considerably. I am going to give you these two pills, and in three hours you will be able to consider yourself as ‘pure’ as one of us.’ As she spoke, she took a little box from beside her bunk, removed the pills and held them out to me, along with a test tube containing a liquid that I supposed to be water. I swallowed them both, lifting the base of my helmet to do so. Next … well, everything happened very quickly and it was all very strange.

Thiaoouba Prophecy (page 10)

For years, I’ve consider aliens to be angels (and demons). They dare not infect us with alien viruses and they definitely don’t want to be infected by us. Hence, (spi)ritual cleansing. Now it all makes sense.

Does One Good Turn Deserve Another?

Edward, The Black Prince (June 15, 1330 – June 8, 1376)

Honestly, I don’t think I researched this era very well, especially the Plantagenet line after Henry II. The Black Prince came up on an MSN posting, and I was struck by the fact that his birth year is 1330. Ooh…

If one were to compare this life with Cecco d’Ascoli‘s, they couldn’t be more different. And the fact that less than three years passed between one death and the birth of the next would be considered too soon, normally. However, being burned alive can have that effect, right?

There are no inconjuncts, so what you see is what you get. To my trained astrologer’s eye, I can see at least three possible (and almost exact) connections to my own natal planets. That makes this life significant to mine.

The natal planets link up this way: my Mercury is conjunct his natal South Node; my Uranus is conjunct his natal Sun; and my Sun is conjunct his natal Uranus. The ‘fatal’ planets line up this way: my Venus is conjunct his ‘fatal’ North Node; my South Node/Mars/Midheaven conjunct are the apex of a double Yod made up of inconjuncts to his ‘fatal’ Moon/Saturn conjunction and his ‘fatal’ Venus/Pluto conjunction. And behind that configuration is the same South Node/Mars/Midheaven all inconjunct to his natal Mars. The Black Prince is the basis of my Spiritual Warrior energy.

And as a Post Script, Here Are Three Birth Charts Together

This may help to dispel any concerns you may have that my past lives as English royalty are misguided.

Could This Tale of Reincarnation Be True?

Sidney Coe Howard (June 26, 1891 – August 23, 1939)

Sometimes, you have to step back and consider the implications. Sidney Howard died before he received his Oscar for writing 1939’s “Gone With the Wind”. Could that have triggered a recent incarnation, or was it just a case of his spirit haunting a young lad, just to complete his journey?

I guess the advantage I have is using Astrology to ‘prove’ this one way or another.

This chart is rectified using two events: Venus @ 23 (marriage for the first time); and Mars @ 48 (accidental death). The Cosmic Cross(es) set up by an Ascendant @ 8° Sagittarius shows that his life was ‘set in stone’. He didn’t have a lot of leeway when it came to what was eventually to happen.

His death chart, set for noon, shows that there were at least three sets of unfinished business. Remember, he was ‘crushed to death’ by his tractor. The story of his ‘new’ life has a lot of plot holes, especially as the TV episode has the child’s name as Eric, while the written version calls him “Lee”. Which is which?

Eric Cole Lee (June 21, 2015)

Working backwards 7 years from 2022, I ascertained that this young man was born in 2015. This may be totally spurious. Also, we are given no indication where Eric was born, so I plucked Houston, Texas out of thin air. The chart is not really important since the timing was randomized, too. But it could be ‘accidentally’ significant.

Do you see what I’m seeing? There are links between Sidney Howard and this (mainly) fictitious boy.

And where it doesn’t really matter in the larger scheme of things, it’s instructive when trying to work out whether it’s a haunting or a reincarnation. Maybe reincarnation is really a soul haunting, after all.

What do you think?

Sometimes, Watching Violence on TV Shows is “Bad”

The Power (2023)

My daughter, Rosanna, suggested this show. On Saturday night, we watched the first four episodes (of nine). The premise was ‘interesting’ since it showed what would happen if young women grew a new organ that produced electricity in their bodies. It turns out that they can pass this new physical growth to older women, too. Suddenly, men, who have been ‘in control’ for so long, now find themselves at the mercy of these women. It doesn’t take very long before some of those same men die..

It’s all well and fine to remember that this series is ‘fantasy’, even science fiction, but the effect can spill over into your dreams, as it did for me early Sunday morning. In a rather unusual sequence, I was dreaming that a young woman was blocking my exit from a situation. As I tried to move her out of my way, I fell out of bed, hitting my right eyebrow on the bedside table, cutting a straight line across it, and gashing my knees on the floor. To say I was shaken up a bit would be an understatement.

This selfie, that I took yesterday morning, shows how black my eyelid has become. It isn’t sore, but it looks horrible, at least to me. (And, yes, I am a little bit vain, if I’m being honest with you.)

This is the exact timing of my fall, as I remember it. It could have happened slightly earlier, but that’s the time I saw when I looked at the clock. (You will see why I have written that, when compared to my birth chart.)

The event Ascendant is just over 5° from my natal Uranus (the planet of sudden moves). There is a Yod pointing at my Mars/Neptune/Midheaven/South Node conjunction, formed by inconjuncts to the event Jupiter and the event Midheaven. It feels like something that was waiting to happen. (My natal Sun is conjunct the event Part of Fortune, and the event Sun is conjunct my own Part of Fortune.) To say I was lucky to not lose my right eye is absolutely true. Sometimes, Jupiter can be a lucky charm for me.

One Man’s Journey to a Heavenly* Realm

Thiaoouba Prophecy (June 19, 1987)

This information has come to me through Ellie’s “The Universe Always Wins”. It’s a long video but worth the viewing:

I awoke suddenly, not knowing how long I had slept. I was completely awake – fresh and alert – but good God, what time could it be? Lina was sleeping beside me, her fists closed, but then Lina always sleeps…

I had no desire at all to go back to sleep and besides, it was possibly already five in the morning. I got up, made my way to the kitchen and checked the clock. Only 12.30am! It was unusual for me to wake up at such an hour.

I took off my pyjamas and dressed in trousers and a shirt, why, I had no idea. Neither can I explain why I went to my desk, took a sheet of paper and a biro and watched myself write, as if my hand had a mind of its own.

‘My dear, I’ll be away for about ten days. Absolutely no need to worry.’

Leaving the note by the telephone, I headed through the door and on to the
verandah. I avoided the table on which last night’s chess game remained, with the white King still in checkmate, and silently opened the door leading on to the garden.

The night seemed to be suffused with a strange brightness, which had nothing to do with the stars. Instinctively, I tried to recall what phase the moon was currently in, thinking that perhaps it was about to rise. Here, in the north-east of Australia where I live, the nights are generally quite clear.

I descended the outside stairs and headed towards the pandanus. Usually, at this time of night, we would have a veritable concert from the frogs and crickets whose chirring sounds fill the night. Now however, there was a heavy silence and I wondered why.

I had only walked a few steps when, quite suddenly, the colour of the philodendrons changed. The wall of the house too, and the pandanus – all were bathed in a kind of bluish light. The lawn seemed to undulate beneath my feet and the ground beneath the pandanus waved also. The philodendrons distorted and the wall of the house resembled a sheet floating in the wind.

Thiaoouba Prophecy – page 5

Using the details Michel Desmarquet wrote (and other biographical details), I found the only day that works for his first contact with Thea is June 19, 1987. This chart is set for when he ‘woke up’ @ 12:30 am. Yes, the Moon was rising up over the horizon. There is one Yod and two inconjuncts. But is it ‘real’?

Michel Desmarquet (July 16, 1931 – July 9, 2018)

Maybe we have to look at the man himself, to see if his lowly ego equates to a perfect messenger.

I believe it was at that moment I felt exalted, as I never had before. It hit me that I was in the process of living an extraordinary adventure – and why? I had asked for nothing and had never contemplated the possibility (who would have dared?) of experiencing such an adventure.

Ibid (page 14)

This chart is rectified to link his first marriage (Venus) to age 20. There is one Yod, pointing at Uranus.

Mars Inconjunct Uranus (definitely)

This energy may be expressed as a hot temper, especially when you have to endure restriction or limitation, such as sitting still in a classroom for a long time. You have a rebellious streak that needs to be disciplined, because everyone has to endure some restrictions, and it takes so little to trigger your temper.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven (perhaps)

Certainly you will discover your own routes to what you want in life. Now you need to be given the confidence and encouragement to look for these routes on your own with total freedom.

The First Contact

It looks like this is a case of North/South Nodes returning to their ‘natal’ positions. This is Michel’s lifelong purpose. Isn’t that all any of us want to achieve? If you want to read the book, there is a pdf version online. Happy Trails, my friends.

  • Thiaoouba (nickname יהוה) is the most common word in the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament), because it is the name of “angels”, who caused the flood at the time of Noah, who turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into the Dead Sea, who helped Moses lead the Hebrews out of Egyptian slavery and who gave Moses the ten commandments ~3,300 years ago. Another Overlooked but Obvious Past Life for Trump

Benito Mussolini (July 29, 1883 – April 28, 1945)

During an evening meal, last night, a neighbour of my wife’s cousin got into a discussion with me about reincarnation and the past lives of famous people. Please note that this man has no belief in an afterlife nor reincarnation, stating that, “once you’re done, it’s over.” But, due to the posturing that Trump does (especially when having his mugshot taken), this individual suggested that Donald was like the “Duce”.

This timing is considered excellent, and looking at the resulting planetary positions and aspects, I would tend to agree. That stellium in Gemini in Mussolini’s 6th and 7th houses, all opposite his Ascendant speaks volumes. It could be the basis of Fascism in its creation. I don’t wish to glamourize Mussolini’s rise and fall, but even in his ‘execution’ chart, which I set at noon on the day he died, Pluto was in the 1st House of the Personality. That echo in Trump’s birth chart of Pluto in the 12th House of the Unconscious cannot be coincidental.

Even Mussolini’s signature is similar to Trump’s.

The two criteria that are required to prove reincarnation have been met: their similar looks and their signatures. Now, all we have to do, to prove it astrologically, is compare their charts.

Those with eyes to see, can see what links these charts together. But is it a full blown case of reincarnation? Perhaps.

Another Post Script to My Manuscript

Summer Equinox (June 21, 7 BCE)

Okay, this is going to be slightly contradictory to a previous post. Using Rudolf Steiner’s information, I originally asserted a birth date for John the Baptist to be June 2, 7 BCE. But, then, a passage about Cecco stated that important events happen on the summer and winter solstices. So, I am revisiting this.

This chart is randomly timed. One inconjunct links Venus and Uranus (again). That has an echo feel about it. To be sure, I wanted to compare the four charts of Jesus’ gestation period in 7 BCE:

Does this ‘prove’ anything? I’m not sure, but it definitely links John’s birth to 6 months before Jesus’.

At least this puts my calculations within a week of the Catholic Church’s Saint Day for John.

A Post Script for My Manuscript

The Star of Bethlehem (October 1, 7 BCE)

They say that facts get in the way of a good story. And the ‘greatest story ever told’ concerned the birth of Jesus. As you know, I’ve told the story of Jesus’ birth chart before (and ‘something’ doesn’t want me to revisit this, but I’m going to press on, anyway).

This theory is ubiquitous in medieval astronomy. It should be noted that in 1603-1604, Kepler observed a great conjunction and calculated that a similar one would have occurred 7 BCE, giving rise to the notion that the star of Bethlehem was a conjunction of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. See W. Burke-Gaffney, “Kepler and the Star of Bethlehem,” Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada 31 (1937).

Footnote 250 (Fabian_columbia_0054D_12087)

There’s a bit of faulty astrological information here. During the whole of 7 BCE, Mars was not in conjunction with Jupiter and Saturn. Here’s the chart for the third and final conjunction between these two planets in that year.

Originally, I was going to delineate the two inconjuncts shown here, but then decided to suggest that Sun inconjunct Uranus represents Gabriel’s visit and Venus inconjunct the Midheaven is Mary’s reaction. This could be the event chart for the Annunciation. It may also represent John the Baptist’s birth chart. (But, as I will show later, that event is ‘off’ by quite a few months.)

This painting is thought to be the first completed work by Leonardo Da Vinci

Hmm.

A Post Script to My Post Script

Trying to tie the Annunciation to Jesus’ birth date of legend, December 25th, the Catholic Church has designated March 25th to be the ‘real’ date. Would you like to see the chart for that? It’s randomized.

Perhaps that Mars/Pluto conjunction in opposition to the stellium in Pisces might just be the moment of impregnation of Mary. The Sun inconjunct Neptune seems to confirm the hidden nature of the event.

Another Past Life of My Best Friend:

Dante (May 30, 1265 – September 14, 1321)

This might seem blindingly obvious to anyone who knows my friend and me: I was Cecco d’Ascoli and he was Dante. We’ve had many intersections throughout time and space, and this one painting (above) matches his image in red clothes. (That he wasn’t a Cardinal during this lifetime, might surprise him.)

The timing of this chart was probably set for dawn on the day Dante was born. Therefore, we have to take any cojunctions and oppositions to the Ascendant with a grain of salt. Two of the three inconjuncts are independent of a correct timing, but it might be significant that the inconjunct linking Venus and the Midheaven is part of a Yod. Also the Moon inconjunct Uranus needs to be timely, although the 3° before and after the aspect (as dictated by the quick movement of the Moon) looks to be substantially correct.

Moon Inconjunct Uranus

With this aspect you must learn to control sudden outbursts of emotion that occur at difficult times when you least expect it. A particular incident when you were very young may have given you the feeling that you can’t count on anything or anyone for support.

Venus Inconjunct Pluto

You are very concerned about the people you love and find it difficult to leave them alone. Others may think that you are trying to take control or be dominating, but it is simply that when a loved one is hurt, you feel it too. You identify with your loved ones more than most.

Venus Inconjunct Midheaven

This same pattern of thinking may make you believe that you must sacrifice pleasure and enjoyment in order to achieve anything worthwhile in life. Especially as you get older, you should make a conscious effort to find ways to enjoy yourself, be with your friends and loved ones and, at the same time, move toward your goals.

And just to clear up a misconception: I previously linked Dante’s life and death charts with my own birth chart. At the time, I was unaware of Cecco d’Ascoli. His association with Dante is significant.

Dante in Verona (by Antonio Cotti)

Ditto.
