George Harrison (February 25, 1943 – November 29, 2001)
This photo probably says it all: up to his neck in water. George Harrison was an enigma to most people, including some astrologers who decided to rectify his chart backward in time by 28 minutes in order to give him a Libra Ascendant. (I suspect they were thinking he was the peacemaker in The Beatles and tried to ‘prove’ it by altering his birth time.) But by backdating the time, they also changed his birth date by one day. That just doesn’t make sense to me.

This is the correct time. How do I know? The Moon, which is conjunct his Scorpio Ascendant, is also now in the 12th House, which fits his personality better. After all, he is Sun in Pisces.
That Yod linking Venus and Uranus with the Moon is quite significant, but the other inconjuncts are, too, as you shall see.
Sun Inconjunct Pluto
There will be many changes in your life, and you will be affected by deep psychological forces that may be difficult to understand at times, as well as confusing to the people around you. You approach people with great intensity, and your emotional involvements are seldom casual. Either you like people very much or you dislike them intensely. Possibly your attitudes on other matters will be extreme also. One of the most important lessons that you will have to learn is to be more moderate.
Moon Inconjunct Venus
You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet. However, you may express this in very strange ways, such as a desire for food, especially sweets, which unconsciously represent love to you.
Moon Inconjunct Uranus
With this aspect you must learn to control sudden outbursts of emotion that occur at difficult times when you least expect it. Also your present home life may not be a stable situation in which you can grow up emotionally secure and confident. A particular incident* when you were very young may have given you the feeling that you can’t count on anything or anyone for support. Later in life, you may try very hard to get away from anything that reminds you of your earliest childhood, even if your childhood has not been difficult. You just feel that you have to get away and go somewhere else.
*It has been remarked upon that he was strongly against bullying…
Saturn Inconjunct Ascendant
With this aspect you probably have a rather serious attitude toward life and other people. It may be quite difficult for you to simply go out and have a good time. You want to be serious and to spend all your time performing significant tasks. This attitude may have developed because you were discouraged from enjoying yourself when you were younger. You may have been made to feel that only work is important, that play serves no useful purpose.
Uranus Inconjunct Ascendant
Your need to be free and do what you want is often in conflict with what others require of you and even with what you feel you ought to do. Sometimes this conflict can cause considerable physical and emotional tension. The task you face is to organize your life in a disciplined way that will enable you to satisfy your need for freedom through your everyday activities.
The Proof is in the Songs
“Within You, Without You”
We were talking about the space between us all
And the people who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth
Then it’s far too late
When they pass away
We were talking about the love we all could share
When we find it, to try our best to hold it there with our love
With our love, we could save the world, if they only knew
Try to realise it’s all within yourself
No one else can make you change
And to see you’re really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you
We were talking about the love that’s gone so cold
And the people who gain the world and lose their soul
They don’t know
They can’t see
Are you one of them?
When you’ve seen beyond yourself then you may find
Peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come when you see we’re all one
And life flows on within you and without you
“Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)”
Give me love
Give me love
Give me peace on earth
Give me light
Give me life
Keep me free from birth
Give me hope
Help me cope, with this heavy load
Trying to, touch and reach you with,
heart and soul
“My Sweet Lord”
My sweet Lord
Hm, my Lord
Hm, my Lord
I really want to see you
Really want to be with you
Really want to see you Lord
But it takes so long, my Lord
My sweet Lord
Hm, my Lord
Hm, my Lord
I really want to know you
Really want to go with you
Really want to show you Lord
That it won’t take long, my Lord (Hallelujah)
Conclusion
I wrote a poem about George that I published here on WordPress. I called him a ‘mystic’.
