Karma: Is This What I Signed Up For?

I’ve been aware of some of my past lives since the early 80’s. Now, 40 years later, I’m beginning to think that it’s all a delusion of some kind, self-delusion perhaps.

As usual, it takes looking at what other astrologers think for me to make sense of the nonsense. And, of course, the mindset of the person may have a lot to do with what kind of information they uncover.

The hard thought is that this is the Devil’s handiwork to keep us preoccupied, so that we don’t pay attention to what’s happening to the world, right under our noses, as it were. That was why I mostly kept my focus on world events, some in the the past and mostly in the present. (See “At This Point in Time”.)

“For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.”

We all seem to be reaping the whirlwind.

In other words, Karma.

And that is exactly what my reincarnational astrology research has shown me: everything and everyone are connected and in the energetic backdrop are the planets and the stars.

They say that about a week before one’s birthday, one’s mind reviews yet another year that has passed. My 72nd birthday will be one week from this Wednesday, hence my short retrospective blog, here.
