This Netflix series is a slow burn that gets hotter and hotter as it progresses. (They say that it is even outscoring viewing numbers of Bridgerton 2, but that’s probably hyperbole.) British politics and the word Scandal were definitely made for each other. This one is relevant to the #timesup #metoo movements, especially in the States. It concerns political power, social privilege and sexual rape.

I see what you are doing. Painting me as arrogant, a man without doubts or qualms. Calling me entitled, essentially. That I’m some kind of privileged beast brought up to believe he can take whatever he wants. The thing is, I’m not that man.
