What’s This: the Ides of July?

Trump Shot At?

Whatever the plan was, it doesn’t look like it was successful, unless it was a staged assassination attempt. To be sure, I raised the chart for the specific moment, as noted by observers at the rally.

There is a Yod (Finger of God) pointing at Saturn, formed by inconjuncts to the Moon and Mercury.

When compared to Trump’s birth chart, his Moon is conjunct the event Ascendant, while his Saturn is conjunct the event Sun. This event is personal, for sure. But is it fated? I’m not so sure.

The moment when Trump’s ear was pierced

I’m reminded that I asked the question recently as to whether Trump would die soon.

He Says It’s for Peace in Ukraine

(Budapeste – Hungria, 17/02/2022) Presidente da República Jair Bolsonaro cumprimenta o Primeiro-Ministro da Hungria, Viktor Mihály Orbán. Foto: Alan Santos/PR

Victor Orbán (May 31, 1963)

It’s always a little disconcerting when you start to realize that some world leaders are younger than yourself. This man is slightly younger than my ‘baby’ sister, Elizabeth.

In the last few days, he’s been on a diplomatic shuffle between China, Russia and America, meeting with other world leaders at the NATO conference, and Trump on his own at Mar-a-Lago.

(Warning! Warning!)

.

.

What is really going on, here?

Interesting. There are three inconjuncts, two of which form a Yod (Finger of God) pointing at Jupiter. Hmm.

Moon Inconjunct Saturn

This aspect usually means that your need for emotional security conflicts with your need to live with the world’s demands. Each of us needs to be accepted and loved for what we are, in order to have enough self-confidence to deal with the world. But we also have to learn to live with our own life situations in order to survive. In other words, we have to realize that we can’t have everything we want. With this aspect, these two needs are working against each other. Probably you will satisfy one of them at the expense of the other.

Planets in Youth (page 127) by Robert Hand (1977)

Jupiter Inconjunct Neptune

You are an idealist with very vivid dreams about how you want your life to be, and at certain times in your life you will follow those dreams with all your energy. But sometimes these idealistic dreams will let you down, because you are not concerned enough with what is real and possible. Yet learning to handle the real world is a very important part of your development, because it is the only way you can avoid becoming bitter and disillusioned when your more impractical ideas have led you into disappointment.

Ibid (page 269)

Jupiter Inconjunct Pluto

You may have a natural talent for dominating others, but don’t fall in love with this talent and be motivated by it. You can be effective at influencing people only if you use your power to help others and yourself achieve desirable goals together. You must be an agent for betterment at all times, and even so you must listen to others’ ideas about betterment to be sure that you aren’t just seeking power in a more roundabout manner.

Ibid (page 272)

So, on the surface, it would appear that his mission is altruistic. But the shuttle diplomacy can backfire, sometimes, and having Trump be part of the process is fraught with what that might mean for the USA.

Let’s hope so…

Post Script:

And, just to demonstrate what the world is dealing with, having these four confer:

Hmm.

Freudian Slipping Away? One “Riffs”, the Other Gaffes

We all know what it’s like to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. It reveals what (or who) is really on our minds. When Biden introduced Zelenskyy as “President Putin”, yesterday, he quickly corrected himself. Last night, during a press conference, he referred to Kamala Harris, his running mate, as “Vice President Trump”. Oops. We know that he didn’t mean to say that, but he had his opponent on his mind.

Trump does something similar, all the time: he talks about ex-President Obama, as if he were still the president and his main political opponent. He also said that Nikki Haley was in charge of security at the Capitol Building on January 6th. He obviously had her on his brain. But he claims that he’s just ‘riffing’.

Effectively, we have two old men battling it out for the next White House administration. As I’ve shown before, Kamala Harris may end up being in charge on January 20th, 2025.

Evidently, He is a Master of Impressions

Benedict Cumberbatch (July 19, 1976)

I knew I’d get around to him, eventually. Benedict Cumberbatch has a fine ear for imitation, or so I’ve been led to believe. But lots of actors have that ability, such as Jim Carey, for example. I wonder why?

This timing is considered ‘good’. It comes as no surprise that Pluto would be conjunct his Libra Ascendant. Even Venus and Saturn being conjunct makes sense in Leo with Mercury within 4°. But the most important aspect is the inconjunct linking Neptune with his Midheaven.

Neptune Inconjunct Midheaven

You are very impressionable, in that you pick up the energies around you very quickly. Therefore it is very important that you are surrounded by wholesome influences in your early years, because negative influences will weaken your self-esteem and make it much more difficult to accomplish anything when you are older. On the other hand, your impressionableness may give rise to some psychic ability, or at least a very sharp intuition when you are older.

A-ha.

Well, now we know why.

Not All Monsters Live Under the Bed

Eric (2024)

We watched episode one of this limited series on Netflix, last night. It is a mess of the worst of 1985 NYC: AIDS is killing people; homosexuality is bordering on pedophilia; kids go missing and parents are fighting a losing battle with alcohol. Even, in this case, a successful children’s program creator is under pressure to become more relevant with modern children. The Sesame Street vibe is evident here.

My title for this post isn’t in quotes, because I have paraphrased the essence of the show. Monsters exist everywhere, and they aren’t always invisible friends who comfort children; sometimes they’re invisible friends who comfort (and cajole) adults, too. I guess it depends on how much imagination is at work.

At any rate, I suspect we’ll carry on with the rest of this six-part series on the weekend. A happy ending is the preferred outcome.

The “Evilution” of Politics

Project 2025

I suspect that the Right to Far-Right of American politics were surprised that it took so long for the public to become aware of their proposed agenda, as spelled out in the documentation for Project 2025. Were the Main Stream Media complicit in the lack of publicity about it? What do you think?

Now, even the presumptive Republican candidate for the Presidency is denying all knowledge about it! (And then he goes and sticks his foot in his mouth by disagreeing with some of its principles.)

Sure.

John McEntee (May 9, 1990)

This individual could be considered a Young Gun of the proposed agenda that Project 2025 represents. He has spoken out loud what he would do with the poor on the street, and doesn’t seem to have a decency filter about anything. I thought it might be interesting to see what makes him tick:

Since his birth time is unknown, I have randomized the timing of this chart. Oh-ho, says I, there’s plenty here to explain why he is the way he is. There are no inconjuncts, so no hidden agendas. The Moon/Pluto conjunction in opposition to the Sun shows his willingness to ‘burn it all down and start again’. This is proven by Mars being in trine to the Moon and Pluto, sextile to the Sun. His Jupiter in opposition to his Uranus/Neptune conjunction gives us a clue about his weird ideas. He’s not afraid of anyone or anything. Because those three planets are all square to Venus, he can honestly say that it is because of his love for America.

Taking Responsibility for One’s Actions

Is This the Result of Positive Thinking?

We all sin. There’s no getting away from that truth. Most of us pay for our sins in small ways, and sometimes in large ways. But some think they are above the law, and definitely above spiritual rules. Hmm.

God (the Universe) is not mocked. If your ‘get-out-of-jail FREE’ card is becoming POTUS (again), the plan may go awry. This (so-called) gentleman has a lot to answer for, and something tells me that the day is coming sooner than he thinks. For the rest of us, who want to see justice served, this can’t happen soon enough. But what if the accountability is actually death? Does that mean he escapes punishment, again?

Maybe, we all ought to take a chill pill. Don’t worry, be happy. The Universe will take care of business.

Bless.

Even a Broken Clock is Right Twice a Day

What time is it now? It’s 10 (minutes) to 2

Divine Prophecy

I was watching a YouTube channel that purports to share God’s Word about what is going on in the world with politics and the environment. The YouTuber is a sincere Christian and he is trying his best to bring his viewers to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It’s nothing new, ask Billy Graham, should you see him on the Other Side. What caught my eye in the background is a clock that never changes its time. Hmm,

I was hesitant to share this video, but then decided that I could, since it’s indicative of the nature of his prophecies: “Wars and rumours of war.” His name is Troy Black, and I have no birth details, so I cannot look behind the scenes.

Try his words and come to your own conclusions.

Let the Mayhem Begin, Again

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024)

You wouldn’t guess that I’m an Eddie Murphy fan, would you? Silly as it seems, there’s something refreshing about visiting a 1980’s iconic character, 30 years later, after his 1994 revival.

The only drawback is how old all his costars are now. Eddie Murphy seems to be the only one who has aged well. Judge Reinhold and John Ashton are so old, I’m surprised they showed up for work every day.

Anyway, if you like the action-packed, rough language sort of fun that this franchise is known for, you will find the film entertaining, even if slightly derivative (see Marlow). It’s worth the price of Netflix.
