The Old Steyne, Brighton postcard
In just about five weeks time, Fountain International will be re-enacting the Brighton Experiment from 1981 that became the Birth of Fountain. So, will it be as successful?
The Chart
On its own, the new experiment has a similar energy as the original, but the timing does raise a major difference. This one is in the spring, rather than the autumn, and in the afternoon, rather than the evening. These things matter to humans, but have no effect on the Universe. However, the powerful conjunction of Jupiter, Mars, Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn is fully contained within the 5th House, the home of playful love. Last time, most of the planets were fully contained in the 6th House, the home of service.
So, it is useful to remember that as time moves on, the focus changes, always.
But it is only when you combine the two charts together do you get a picture of what this re-enactment is really all about.
As you can see, there are several Fingers of God (Yods) pointing at important planets and positions. That makes this event spiritually significant.
But what does it mean for us humans?
If you are old enough to have lived through the early 1980’s, you will perhaps have a rosy retro-vision of those times. But just a review of historical events of September 1981 will be a bit of a shock. During that month alone, the USA and the USSR were both testing nuclear bombs! Oh, and the Smurfs debuted on television. Two extremes.
After the SALT talks, nuclear testing stopped, but in recent months ballistic missiles are becoming operational again. The Americans and the Russians are becoming more militant. China has recently been sidelined by COVIC-19, so the whole world is holding its collective breath, in order not to be affected. And other things have been evident.
So, this re-enactment is more global than the original experiment.
