Healing Hands

More unusual thoughts occurred to me overnight: because of my reading of Phineas P. Quimby’s collected writings, I have come to the conclusion that he thought he was connected to Jesus, through the Christ energy. Yesterday, I postulated that Quimby and Matthew Manning were connected, too. So, now my task is to look at the three healers’ charts to see what is in common between them. This is highly speculative, so pleased don’t think I’m trying to prove that Quimby and Manning are reincarnations of Jesus. It is more likely that all three were overshadowed by an energy we call the Christ (but could, in fact, be the Holy Spirit).

Let’s start with Jesus and Quimby.

When one person dies, the residual work to be done may be passed on to another individual. (Notice I didn’t say they were reincarnated.) The links between Jesus’ death and Quimby’s birth are evident: Quimby’s Sun is conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Venus (conjunct PoF) @ 28° Aquarius; Quimby’s North Node is conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Jupiter @ 23° Pisces; Quimby’s Mars is conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Neptune @ 23° Capricorn; Quimby’s Neptune is opposite Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Midheaven; Quimby’s Uranus is conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Moon in Libra; and, finally, Quimby’s Jupiter is conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Ascendant (although the Jupiter is in Virgo while the Ascendant is in Leo).

Close enough for jazz.

Now let’s look at Manning and Jesus.

This one may be a bit of a stretch, because I don’t believe that Manning thinks he’s connected to Jesus. But he did, early on in his career, find that he had the healing touch, so let’s review the connections, anyway: the most obvious to me is Manning’s PoF being (almost) exactly conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Pluto, and both conjunct Manning’s Ascendant in Sagittarius. At the same time, Manning’s Pluto and Sun are conjunct Jesus’ ‘fatal’ Ascendant in Leo. That makes Pluto the common element between them. Interesting. Because their placements of Uranus are conjunct (although in different signs), I see their ‘energies’ as being connected, but different.

So, which is it? Because the Pluto and Uranus connections between Manning and Jesus don’t show up between Quimby and Jesus, I can only surmise that each have picked up separate aspects of Jesus’ unfinished business, in order to carry on his work.

The Holy Trinity?

When we look at the birth charts for all three, we start to get a glimpse into their connections.

The strongest visually is the conjunction between Quimby’s Ascendant and Jesus’ Neptune, followed by Manning’s Neptune and Jesus’ South Node. Quimby’s Neptune is conjunct Jesus’ Uranus (opposite Manning’s Mercury) while Quimby’s North Node is conjunct Jesus’ Jupiter. And let’s not forget that Quimby’s Mercury is just 4° from Jesus’ Saturn. When the North or South Node is conjunct any planets, there is a sense of reincarnation, so I cannot rule it out, but I am mindful that others’ belief systems won’t tolerate the idea of Jesus reincarnating.
