The Wellspring*: Birth of a New Consciousness

October 31, 2021: *New Channelling (XXVIII)

The thoughts of the Universe are received through a filter in a manner

that is understood by the human brain. The brain is limited to an extent by the development of thought, which tends to rationalise information to fit within the sphere of present experience. It is only when the mind has expanded to work with the expansive consciousness of spirit that a clarity is perceived, otherwise the messages can be distorted.

This is what has happened to those who express extremist ideas. Rationality does not come into the picture they have, due to a fixation of ideas. Sense and reason do not work in discussion, and logic seems to reveal blindness, hypocrisy, self-delusion and anger. These closed minds cannot receive the cosmic information and this limits their life experiences. The proportion of people with closed minds is diminishing, but attitudes of separation do go through family circles and then take time, perhaps generations, to disappear.

The world will be changing beyond recognition in the coming years, due to the movement of people and ideas, causing major disruption initially. The time has come for letting go of the old paradigms to form the New World Order where all will work together. Birth is always painful, but necessary, to produce new life.

Where Did He Get the Courage to Defy Trump?

General Mark A Milley (June 20, 1958)

U.S. Army Gen. Mark A. Milley, 20th Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, poses for a command portrait in the Army portrait studio at the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., Sept. 26, 2019. (U.S. Army photo by Monica King)

I’m still reading “Peril” by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa. I was originally going to use General Milley‘s picture as an illustration for a previous post, only to hesitate and then post this one instead.

I knew, even before I raised this birth chart that Mars would represent Milley’s first commission as a 22-year-old. So, it wasn’t difficult to rectify his chart when I originally randomized the time @ 12:35 pm.

So, guess what? He has a Yod, not dependent on a correct birth time. So, this one will be important.

Venus Inconjunct Jupiter

This can be a positive aspect if you learn to control some of its negative possibilities. You are likely to lack energy and to be rather passive. You may wait for opportunities to come to you, rather than go after them. You may not have enough energy to pursue your ambitions, or you may not have much ambitions. Or you may love your comfort so much that you are unwilling to make any effort or put up with any pain that could help you grow and develop. However, if there are any indications of energy in your chart, they should overcome the passivity.

On the plus side, you need love and affection, and you can usually be very warm and affectionate as well. However, it is very important that you choose your close friends carefully, because you may attract people who are difficult to get along with, who order you around or act as if they are better than you. Avoid such people, for they will do you no good.

If you do associate with difficult people, you may be unable to live up to your own standards of behavior. You may do things that you usually wouldn’t approve of, because somehow the relationship weakens your resolve to do what is right. But this won’t happen if you choose your friends carefully and avoid people who are not good for you.

Venus Inconjunct Saturn

This aspect means that your family may make you feel that you are unworthy of love. Unless you are given a great deal of love while you are young, you will be attracted to cold and unfeeling people when you are an adult. Such people are an outward expression of your inner feeling of unworthiness.

Even without any pressure, you are likely to be more disciplined than most people your age. You don’t go overboard in anything, and you feel strongly that your worth depends on what you do and how much you accomplish.

(I like to think that what Milley did in defying Trump was for the love of his country.)

Colonel Klunk: Retired Warmonger or Peacemaker?

A Pawn Piece (1978 play): Act I

(Page 1)

(The curtain opens on a blackened stage. DEREK, who is laying on a sleeping bag, opens his eyes as a natural-coloured spotlight inches down to him, like a sunrise, gradually lighting up the surrounding area to show that he has spent the night in the woods. As the spotlight gets larger, the stage lights, still natural, should come on gradually, during his soliloquy. DEREK yawns, stretching his arms. Then he gets up from his sleeping bag.)

DEREK: Good morning, World. What a good sleep I’ve had. Funny, I don’t remember dreaming. I usually do. (Yawning again) Well, what do I have planned today? Nothing much, I’m afraid. I’ll just have to see what comes along. Who knows? Maybe I’ll have an exciting adventure today. I could play “War”, that’s always lots of fun. (Machine-gunning) Rat-tat-tat-tat. Rat-tat-tat-tat. (Bazooking) Ppftt–KABOOM. Ppftt-KABOOM. Or I could play “Cops and Robbers”. Yeah, that would be good. (Bullhorning) All right, Mugsy, we’ve got you covered. come out with your hands up, or we’ll come in there blasting. (Yelling) I’ll never give up, you’ll have to come in to get me. (Shooting) Ptchw. Ptchw. (Moaning) Oh, you got me. Or maybe I should play “I Spy”. (Quickly) I-spy-with-my-little-eye (slower) some thing that is green. (Altered voice) This tree? (Normal) No. (Altered) That tree? (Normal) No. (Altered) I don’t know; I give up. (Normal, laughing) The forest: you couldn’t see it for the trees. How about a “Riddle”? Here’s one of my favourites; I made it up myself. (Seriously) Riddle me this: what killed the cat before

(Page 2)

DEREK (continued): satisfaction brought it back? (Lightly) Give up? Curiosity. I think maybe I’ll play “King of the Castle”, instead. (Singing) I’m the king of the castle and you’re the dirty rascal. No, I guess they’re all hard games to play by myself. I suppose I’d better go and look for someone to play with. (DEREK begins to go for a walk) Where does a twelve-year-old boy like me find a friend? Especially in the woods. Maybe I’ll have to go to the ‘wouldn’ts’ to find out. (Comes upon KLUNK sitting in his way; KLUNK wears huge glasses, one lens broken, the other cracked, and a dingy. rust-coloured coat. On his breastcoat pocket hang several metals of honour, slightly disheveled.) What’s that over there? He looks like a real wreck. I wonder how he got like that: he looks as if he’s dead. (The lighting changes to purple, here.)

KLUNK: I’m not dead; I’m just rusting.

DEREK: Pardon me?

KLUNK: You heard me, you young whip; I said I’m just rusting, I’m not dead.

DEREK: Don’t you mean ‘resting’?

KLUNK: Rusting, resting: what’s the difference?

DEREK: Rusting is the process of covering metal with that reddish-brown coat you’re wearing.

KLUNK: That’s not what I meant.

DEREK: Well, what did you mean?

KLUNK: I meant I was spoiling myself with disuse.

DEREK: That’s the same as resting.

KLUNK: See, I told you!

DEREK: Why didn’t you just say you were getting rusty?

KLUNK: You’d probably think I meant it the other way.

DEREK: I guess so, but shouldn’t you be feeling refreshed?

KLUNK: With a fresh coat I might.

DEREK: A fresh coat?

KLUNK: Of paint, I’m getting tired of this colour.

DEREK: No, not paint, air.

KLUNK: Air? What for?

DEREK: Fresh air to feel refreshed in. No, I mean: don’t you feel refreshed in this fresh air?

KLUNK: This fresh air is the reason I need fresh paint.

(Page 3)

DEREK: Because you’re rusting?

KLUNK: Yes, I think you understand now.

REK: I don’t really. Why couldn’t you have just said you were resting?

KLUNK: I hate admitting that I’m not in active service. They shouldn’t have retired me.

DEREK: Who are “they”?

KLUNK: My superiors, of course. Oh, sorry, I forgot: you don’t know who I am. May I introduce myself?

DEREK: Of course!

KLUNK: I am Colonel Klunk, retired, mobile division.

DEREK: How do you do, sir?

KLUNK: Not too well, I…

DEREK: My name is Derek.

KLUNK: If you’re going to ask me a question, young man, why won’t you let me answer it?

DEREK: What did I do wrong?

KLUNK: You were interrupting me.

DEREK: No, I wasn’t; you interrupted me.

KLUNK: I did no such thing!

DEREK: Yes, you did. I was trying to be polite by introducing myself and you spoke out in the middle.

KLUNK: But you asked me a question.

DEREK: What question?

KLUNK: ‘How do you do?’

DEREK: That’s only a polite acknowledgement of your introduction before I begin mine.

KLUNK: Whoever heard of such a preposterous idea?

DEREK: I have.

KLUNK: Who taught it to you?

DEREK: My mother, why?

KLUNK: It doesn’t make any sense to ask a question like, “How do you do?” and then not expect an answer.

(Page 4)

DEREK: But it’s not a real question.

KLUNK: Why?

DEREK: Because I didn’t mention what it is that I wanted to know how you did.

KLUNK: What?! I don’t follow what you’re saying.

DEREK: Exactly! If I don’t say something like, “How do you do chestnuts on an open fire?” how can you answer?

KLUNK: Oh, but I thought the question was, “How do you do anything?” I was going to tell you that it’s with great difficulty.

DEREK: I can believe it.

KLUNK: Well, then, why are we having such a difficult time talking to each other?

DEREK: Probably because you do everything with great difficulty.

KLUNK: Don’t get smart with me.

DEREK: There: you just said something that doesn’t make any sense.

KLUNK: What was that?

DEREK: You said, “Don’t get smart,” when you really meant “smarten up.”

KLUNK: Smarten up what?

DEREK: My act.

KLUNK: Is that what this is: an act?

DEREK: No. I just meant that the whole alternate saying is, “Smarten up your act.”

KLUNK: Then say what you mean…

DEREK: And mean what you say, right? This just goes to show that the English language can be very confusing to those who are learning it for the first time. For example, did you realize that sometimes opposites can mean the same thing?

KLUNK: Like what?

DEREK: Like, a slim chance is the same as a fat chance. Then, there’s the differences in idioms between young people and old people.

KLUNK: Idioms?

DEREK: Yes, what would you think if I told you to ‘be cool’?

KLUNK: I don’t know: it doesn’t make any sense.

DEREK: See, we’re experiencing what’s known as a ‘generation gap’.

(Page 5)

KLUNK: I remember a General Motors, but no General Shungap.

DEREK: It’s hopeless talking to you; you don’t understand anything I’m saying.

KLUNK: How do you know? You haven’t asked me anything, or so you say. Would you like to know how I got to be here, in this condition?

DEREK: Yes, I would.

KLUNK: Then, why didn’t you ask?

DEREK: I felt that you might misunderstand my intentions.

KLUNK: I realize you’re an intense young man, Derek, but there’s no reason to get tense.

DEREK: Colonel Klunk, what are you talking about?

KLUNK: You said you were in tensions.

DEREK: That’s not what I intended.

KLUNK: Were you speaking in the present tense?

DEREK: As in a grammar lesson, yes. I find the present tense and the past perfect.

KLUNK: So do I; I like the past better.

DEREK: Do you mean that we agree on something?

KLUNK: I suppose we do.

DEREK: Please tell me about your life, especially before you began to rest, er, rust.

KLUNK: Since I’m sure you wouldn’t want to hear my story from the very beginning, I’ll start with my career.

DEREK: Please do.

KLUNK: Please do what?

DEREK: Please do begin your story with your career.

KLUNK: Good. I thought you might be pulling another “How do you do?” on me.

DEREK: In a way I was.

KLUNK: In what way?

DEREK: It’s polite to say “please do” when you want to encourage someone.

KLUNK: I’ve already got enough courage for both of us, so why bother?

(Page 6)

DEREK: Never mind. I can’t explain without ruining your story. Please continue.

KLUNK: Continue what?

DEREK: Your story.

KLUNK: I haven’t started it, yet.

DEREK: Sorry, sir.

KLUNK: No, I’m not sorry: it turned out all right. It’s just that I could have had more service at the front.

DEREK: Your front?

KLUNK: No, at the front of the driving forces. You know, the ones on highways, streets, county roads, concessions.

DEREK: Did you make concessions?

KLUNK: Yes, they were the roughest to overcome.

DEREK: In what way?

KLUNK: Sometimes they were the only way to get to where I wanted to go.

DEREK: Do you mean home?

KLUNK: Yes. I loved the garage I called my home. It was so restful, compared to the outside world.

DEREK: Restful?

KLUNK: Peaceful.

DEREK: Did you make it home very often?

KLUNK: What, the garage? Every time I got there. Let’s just say that fighting the traffic made it all worthwhile.

DEREK: Where’d you fight traffic?

KLUNK: I told you before.

DEREK: You did?

KLUNK: Yes, the highways, streets, county roads…

DEREK: Et cetera.

KLUNK: Yes, that land was something.

DEREK: What land?

KLUNK: The Belle Province, of course. All of the instructions are give in that language you just spoke; it causes confusion, but the trip there is worth the hassle.

(Page 7)

DEREK: I wasn’t speaking French.

KLUNK: Sure you were: you said, “Est cette terre, eh?”

DEREK: No, I didn’t; I was saying the Latin phrase, ‘et cetera’.

KLUNK: They sound so much alike; what does it mean?

DEREK: And so forth.

KLUNK: Is that anything like, ‘he was told to come forth, but came fifth and lost the race’?

DEREK: No, more like, ‘whatever is following as previously indicated.’

KLUNK: Well, if he came fifth, he certainly would be following.

DEREK: You’re not following what I’m saying, again.

KLUNK: Where is it leading this time?

DEREK: I’m not sure.

KLUNK: Then I’ll thank you not to interrupt me again.

DEREK: Alright, Colonel Klunk, I won’t.

KLUNK: Thank you. Now, where was I?

DEREK: I think you were fighting traffic.

KLUNK: Ah, yes, that reminds me of the good times.

DEREK: What good times?

KLUNK: Mostly, the excursions I took into that country to the south of us.

DEREK: Are you referring to the U.S.?

KLUNK: Of course, I mean us. Who else would be north of the United States?

DE$REK (closing eyes in exasperation): Where’s you go?

KLUNK: Open your eyes, I’m right here.

DEREK (opening eyes): No, I mean where did you go in the United States?

KLUNK: I told you before, the highways, streets…

DEREK: Never mind, I understand.

KLUNK: Do you? They used to be our enemies, you know. That was long before the “Auto Pact” was signed.

DEREK: Who won?

KLUNK: There are still those of us who think we did. But when you hear their version, it makes you wonder.

(Page 8)

DEREK: Why, what happened?

KLUNK: While we were gloating about the increase in employment with new production locations, they were laughing all the way to the bank. Haven’t you noticed that their troops have infiltrated our ranks?

DEREK: Why hasn’t anyone done something about it?

KLUNK: I guess that the American influence has permeated through our entire society so much, that any attempt to rid ourselves of their culture could endanger the survival of our own heritage.

DEREK: You’ve told me about the Great War, now tell me why you’re here, and how you came to be in such a dilapidated condition?

KLUNK: Like every good solider, I did as I was instructed to do. My commanding officer was a slave driver. He kept making me take part in weekend skirmishes in the North, until I had engine failure. My heart hasn’t been the same since: I just couldn’t put it in my work. After sitting for several years in someone’s back yard as a reserve, I was finally retired. It was a smash-up retirement party.

DEREK: It must have been more like a demolition derby.

KLUNK: Do you think so? Anyway, after the bash, they dragged me to this lonely spot to wait for the end.

DEREK: When will the end come?

KLUNK: I’m not sure. I’ve been told that old soldiers never die, they just rust away.

DEREK: I think this is where I came in.

KLUNK: So, where are you going, when you leave?

DEREK (indicating Stage Right): I don’t know. Maybe I’ll go that way.

KLUNK: For what purpose?

DEREK: To find a friend to play with.

KLUNK: Then you had better be going. I wouldn’t want you to miss your directions at this stage.

DEREK: Okay. Thank you, Colonel Klunk; it’s been fun.

(As DEREK walks toward S.R., the curtain falls for a brief intermission.)

The Wellspring*: Dark Nights of the Soul

October 29, 2021: *New Channelling (XXVII)

With the lengthening nights and withdrawal from outside activities,

a period of rest prepares you for the coming year. It is a period of introspection and renewal. The future is unknown, anticipated by some with dread and others with hope. By accepting a day as a unit unto itself, to be filled to the best of your abilities, there is no need to be anxious about the next day. To worry about what might be the future is futile, but by following inner promptings you are ready for all things. Intuition is your truest guide in these troubling times.

Concern with the past and everything experienced means holding on with regret and self-blame. This does not serve, but “muddies” your mind of clear thought. Life in matter is a school and “mistakes” show the lessons experienced. Dwelling on memories with regret holds you back. You are here to learn. What is done is done, move on and don’t repeat.

During these dark nights, the time for reflection is with you, preparing you for the coming year with calmness. You know that new challenges will be presented and you have all the tools and skills you will need to meet them.

Was This Pope Really Poisoned in His Sleep?

Pope John Paul I (October 17, 1912 – September 28, 1978)

The sudden demise of Pope John Paul I is one of the most mysterious of deaths in the 20th century. It has always been rumoured to be a murder by poisoning.

In his book When the Bullet Hits the Bone published in 2019, Anthony Raimondi, a nephew of Lucky Luciano, says he helped his cousin Archbishop Paul Marcinkus kill the pope by putting valium in his tea to knock him out, then poisoning him with cyanide. The reason given was that John Paul had allegedly threatened to expose “a massive stock fraud run by Vatican insiders”. Raimondi says that plans were made to also assassinate John Paul II had the latter decided to expose the fraud. Raimondi says that “If they take [the pope’s body] and do any type of testing, they will still find traces of the poison in his system.”

Pope John Paul I Conspiracy Theories

But does the ‘death’ chart prove that rumour to be true?

It’s an impressive chart by anyone’s standards. All the planets and lights are below the horizon and the bucket starts with Jupiter @ 4° Leo and ends with Neptune @ 15° Sagittarius. The handle is the Midheaven @ 2° Pisces. It is also the apex of a Yod formed from an inconjunct with Jupiter, on one side, and an inconjunct with the Sun/Mercury conjunction, on the other. The Ascendant is 27° Gemini.

So, just to be clear, I am in ‘two minds’ about the proof. If the Moon and Saturn hadn’t been in opposition to the Midheaven, this might have been an ‘open-and-shut’ case. The trines from Mars @ 6° Scorpio and the Ascendant (to the Midheaven) keep nagging at me to look for more clues. By rights, Mars in Scorpio is enough to suggest that the rumour is true. It also turns out that Neptune is actually transiting Pope John Paul I’s natal 12th house, conjunct his natal Ascendant @ 19° Sagittarius:

And the ‘fatal’ Ascendant is only 2° from his natal Pluto. (Please note that there were two inconjuncts in his natal chart: Mercury Inconjunct Mars; and Uranus Inconjunct Pluto.) Hmm.

From Humble Beginnings…

Pope John Paul II (May 18, 1920 – April 2, 2005)

I watched Cash Peters’ YouTube video featuring Pope John Paul II. It was eye-opening for me because, even though I lived through the whole of his Papacy (1978-2005), I hadn’t really known his life story. That spurred me to looking at his birth chart.

Most astrology sites list this birth time as ‘excellent’, and it was the same time that my Kepler 7.0 program had already, so I’ve let it be. First thing to notice is that Libra Mars/Ascendant conjunction. They say he was accident-prone in his youth, so this may be the reason for that condition. At any rate, as Mars is in the 12th House, it may have made him impulsive in his actions.

There are two inconjuncts, both dependent on an accurate birth time.

Sun Inconjunct Ascendant

Your relations with other people can be very intense. While you are young, they may be quite difficult, because you feel that others will accept you only if you deny yourself in some way. Or you may constantly feel you should put off doing what you want in order to do what you have to do. Usually your ideas about what you have to do come from the people around you. Also, contacts with other people will frequently force you to make serious, major psychological changes. Difficulties in your relationships with friends and family are signs of profound internal changes.

You may find that no mater how hard you try to show others who you really are, they misunderstand you somehow. This is because the angular relationship between your rising sign and Sun sign indicates tha your internal energies are quite different from the energies that you show to the world. You are not intentionally dishonest with the world, you simply present a confusing complex of energies. As you get older, you will learn more about your effect on people, which will enable you to put the two sides of your personality together so that they work smoothly. Be patient and do not hurry. Look a each relationship as an opportunity to learn more about yourself through your effects upon others. You will know you have learned this when you no longer attract people who are psychologically difficult to deal with.

(The Nazi war machine in Poland comes to mind.)

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

You need to express your thoughts and feelings, but you often upset the people around you with your words. You seem to enjoy creating a stir every time you say something, but this can get you into quite a bit of trouble with parents, teachers and other authority figures. The underlying principle of this aspect is the need to balance your individual self-expression and manner of communicating with your need to learn and grow under the guidance of older people.

When you feel rebellious and unwilling to accept anything you are told, you should be allowed, within reason, to have the experience that will help you understand your elders’ point of view. If you are lucky enough to have parents who let you do this, you will eventually get over your childhood resentment of being told what to do. Although you may not always agree with what they tell you, at least you will consider the merits of their ideas.

(Being Pope meant he had to listen to the Cardinals and other Roman Catholic Church officials.)

Conclusion

The one surprising element of the Soul Crossings’ video was that before Pope John Paul II entered the dome of light at the end of the tunnel, he stepped away from the spotlight, and became Karol Wojtyla again. Then as this humble persona, he entered the light dome through a curtain in the back. That’s a great symbol of his return to his beginnings: he took the servants’ entrance to the afterlife.

The Wellspring*: Towards a Brighter Future

October 27, 2021: *New Channelling (XXVI)

It appears to be impossible not to feel concerned for the state of society and the planet.

To join those who express impotency in fighting what appears to be the destruction of the planet will not serve anyone. It is only through major challenges that all are willing to unite and pull together to rectify the mistakes of the past. Many mistakes have been the result of ignorance, but there has also been greed and indifference, with the assumption that someone else will clear up the mess. But the time for that way of thinking has passed. Each individual is required to take responsibility for their contribution towards the common good.

In the months ahead, more challenges will come with the planet and social demands, and, the more proactive each person is, the sooner stability will come. The old systems and attitudes are worn out and no longer suit the present needs of the world.

By taking each day at a time and address what is before you with calmness and trust, all will work out towards a brighter future.

The Wellspring*: A New World Order

October 25, 2021: *New Channelling (XXV)

While shoots of the New World Order are beginning to show,

there is still much to be removed. The past has breed ideas and attitudes which will take generations to dissolve, and many years will pass before the full flowering of the New World Order takes place. All journeys start with the first step and now the new path is being embarked upon. A drop of water upon still surface will send out ripples which expand unhindered, but, on a choppy surface, the effect will be minimal. Even so, an effect will happen.

With this analogy you can see that the changes will be slow and take many lifetimes, but the more who embrace the new energies and new thinking, the sooner these changes will happen. New thinking cannot be forced, as you get an equal and opposite reaction, but reason and subtlety have more power. By living your truth, without compromising your principles, the change will happen organically, and, through detachment, will be observed and bring reassurance.

Everyone is strong and through owning that power, thought becomes a reality.
