There’s an AI video on YouTube, doing the rounds right now, purporting to teach us about the code that Jesus taught his disciples. It takes 12 minutes to string the viewer along, because the money’s in the length of time it takes to watch, not in the message it conveys.
I wondered, today, if Namaste conveys the same thing. Since the word comes from Sanskrit, I should have known its true meaning in English is, “I bow to you.” Not quite what I was hoping for.
When I Googled images of “I am One”, the image shown above came up. I like that one. It’s not quite spiritual, but it definitely is very romantic. If thought about in a spiritual sense, it also confirms what the “Monad” code is meant to convey. We are all One. (Haven’t I been saying this for years?)
To be honest, I’d never even heard of this film, until we discovered it on Netflix, last night.
In some ways, I was constantly reminded of “Muriel’s Wedding”: the reason? Because Dolly Partin’s songs were the background soundtrack to the whole “Dumplin'” show, just like ABBA’s songs were used in the Toni Collette film. It’s a formula for success, for sure.
The young lady who plays Will is a natural star. Her coming-of-age story is awkward, especially as she is size conscious, because her mother was (and is) a beauty queen, played by Jennifer Aniston. It’s tough being compared to your mother, when you know she’s a beloved fixture of your town. But it doesn’t help when she calls you by your childhood nickname in public. Hence the title of the film.
Give this one a chance, you’ll have tears in your eyes by the end.
Maybe it was originally only a suggestion by the International Meridian Conference, but it became the “real” prime meridian afterwards. Prior to that time, the UK had adopted the Greenwich Observatory as its 0° meridian. But, using satellite technology, the line is actually 102 meters east of its supposed line.
Interestingly, Neptune is inconjunct to Mercury, on the day, while Pluto is inconjunct the Sun/Midheaven conjunction at noon. Hmm. Makes me wonder if it was pushed through, anyway.
The clue about this scientist came from a YouTube video from Ellie Dreams Down Under.
Mr. McDonald’s reputation was rock solid, until he started to investigate UFOs. Then he was shunned by the scientific community. Then he was mocked by the U.S. Congressman from Massachusetts in a committee investigating the idea that a SST (supersonic transport) would harm the ozone layer.
In 1970 McDonald appeared before a committee of the United States Congress to provide evidence against the development of the supersonic transport (SST) plane, where he testified that the plane could potentially harm the Earth’s ozone layer. During that testimony Congressman Silvio O. Conte of Massachusetts—whose district contained factories that would help build the SST—tried to discredit McDonald by referring to his UFO research. Although McDonald defended his UFO work and noted that his evidence regarding the SST had nothing to do with UFOs, Conte stated that anyone who “believes in little green men” was, in his opinion, not a credible witness

That may have been the last straw. He (allegedly) committed suicide in June of 1971. Really?
His birth chart was already on my computer program. The timing looks randomized, but could also be inspired because of the conjunction of Saturn with the Virgo Ascendant, both in opposition to Uranus.
The Moon being inconjunct to a Jupiter/Neptune conjunction on his 12th cusp in Leo makes me doubt the suicide story. The government was out to get him, and he may have been removed from the world stage. Ellie’s description of his attempting suicide, but surviving, although blinded by his action, and then escaping from hospital, only to shoot himself again sounds suspect to me. How did he leave a note?
What do you think? Was he a prophet, way before his time?
It’s easy to be skeptical about wealth management when you’re poor. But what do you do when you’re suddenly wealthy? Between my wife and myself, we have a quarter of a million Canadian dollars to invest, after we sold our house in Midland.
Only an idiot would leave it sitting in a chequing account, gathering dust and no interest.
Tomorrow, we will be investing our Tax Free Savings Accounts (TFSAs) in the stock market.
Angel & Giants: the Watchers & the Nephilim (2017)
Sometimes, it takes a short time to connect the dots. Genesis chapter 6 describes what happened when the ‘sons of God’ created a race of giants with the daughters of men.
“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and afterward as well-when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men, and they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.”
The creation of these giants made the Lord (God) decide to release a watery deluge to wipe humanity out. It is implied that the Nephilim were the real targets, but after the Flood, there were remnants of the race of giants living in Canaan, as discussed in Numbers and Deuteronomy.
I saw this photo years ago, and wondered, what the heck!
We automatically think that these creatures could not have possibly existed. Sure, right you are!
We also doubt the Old Testament events as described in the Holy Bible. We’re kidding ourselves.
The Watchers are real and they ‘fell’ into the arms of human women, paying the price for their ‘sins’ ever since. Do you doubt it now?
The giants mentioned in the Bible appear in diverse passages and under names such as Nephilim, Rephaim, Anakim, and Philistine warriors like Goliath. Scripture consistently depicts them as physically imposing adversaries, often opposing God’s covenant people. Whether in the antediluvian world (Genesis 6) or in the wars of ancient Israel, the accounts serve both a historical and theological purpose: they highlight divine sovereignty over all circumstances, draw attention to humanity’s need for God’s deliverance, and remind readers of the reliability of Scripture’s transmission and testimony.
Far from being purely mythical, the biblical portrayal of giants fits into the wider narrative of redemptive history. When read within its consistent manuscript tradition, supported by references in other ancient writings, and placed in conversation with reasonable anthropological and archaeological considerations, the biblical record stands coherent and credible.
On the long car journey to Orillia, yesterday morning, I saw a bright light in the sky, before the sun rose.
It was like a satellite, or, at best, an airplane, but it didn’t move, keeping to the east of our position. The the sun came up, and the light disappeared into the blue horizon. If we hadn’t being travelling before the dawn, we wouldn’t have even seen it. As Venus is sometimes known as the harbinger of the sun’s rise, I knew it was that planet.
Out of curiosity, even before researching the storyline, we watched this film on Netflix Wednesday night. It’s a bit convoluted, and the mystery is compounded by the fact that Laura may be suffering from PTSD, after having witnessed a murder six months ago. This journalist assignment was meant to be a bit of a rest, but it turns out to be anything but.
When you’re the only one who saw or heard anything on a super yacht kind of puts you in a precarious position mentally. But, her training as a journalist made Laura keep digging for the truth, even when it could cause her to lose her profession. You’d have to watch it yourself to see how it turns out.
