Time to Renovate

Yes, this is but another dream, but one with a difference: this time I’m working as part of a consortium on the lookout for a business opportunity.

My business friends and I came across this beautiful old 10 floor building complex in the heart of the city. We couldn’t believe our luck: not only was it on the market, but it had a ready-made office covering several floors, upstairs; and on the bottom floor, a well-appointed restaurant, which was still in operation, and would be part of the purchase.

As an integral part of buying this building, we had to run the restaurant for a weekend. As is always the case when you go behind the scenes of any enterprise, you find anomalies which need fixing. This restaurant had a few.

One of my partners noticed that they were selling seafood meals well past the daily time limit as set by the city. She felt that needed to change.

My part was to check the financial records. Government cheques were being slightly altered to overcome the bureaucracy that would make these payments far too delayed.

But overall, nothing that couldn’t be overcome.

We were discussing whether we should take the building on, when I woke up.

Conclusion

I know that I’m being upgraded by the Universe during the whole of this year (astrologically), so it comes as no surprise to me that I should dream an extended metaphor about this on-going work.

Let’s hope my Higher Self approves of the renovations, and chooses to move into the new, and improved, structure…

I Fell into a Burning Ring of Fire

Normally, I let recent eclipses come and go without too much fanfare because they happen all the time, and it just gets boring to keep referring to them.

This one is different, partly because my natal Mercury is being ‘influenced’ by a Pluto and Jupiter conjunction @ 25 degrees Capricorn, the second of three transits this year (and with both of those planets in retrograde). My mental state is being impinged.

For everyone else, this looks like a pretty routine event, but it is interesting to note that the Sun/Moon conjunction is inconjunct to Saturn @ 0 degrees Aquarius. As Uranus is being triggered by Taurus Rising at the precise moment of the eclipse, I’m wondering what will happen. Whenever all the planets are on one side of a chart, something revolutionary occurs.

Just a wee reminder of the scope of these connections.

Now you can see why 2020 is so important.

The Fellowship: Are They the Antichrist?

I’ve told you before that everything about this world seems upside down. Here we have a group of Christians, known as The Fellowship, who have involved themselves in world politics. (Whatever happened to separation of Church and State?)

On the surface, this looks to be the best thing that ever happened to the American political scene. But what if this is something more sinister? See what I mean?

Ordinary folks would not worry about such matters, but if the truth be told, this is confirmation of Bible prophecy, and proof that we are living through the End Times.

“What Took Them So Long?”

I was talking last night with my 11-year-old granddaughter, trying to explain race relations in the United States, and Canada. When I mentioned that Obama was the first black president, she said the words of the title of this post.

Then, I thought to myself, “Why have I taken so long, too?”

During the lead up to Obama’s second term, I began to get an inkling as to the depth of the political fallout from his presidency. White people didn’t like him, and it seemed to stem mainly from the colour of his skin (and the implication that he might be Muslim).

When he won that precious second term, the raw edges of radical right wing extremism began to show its ugly face again. How can one man be such a lightning rod?

As you have gathered by now (if you’d read any of my recent astrological posts) that I look for the undercurrents of the chart when analyzing it. This one has one Yod (Finger of God) and one inconjunct, but I don’t think those aspects would be enough to inflame a generation. Something else is operating here. And that something may be Mars in Virgo, timed for the lead up to his first election as a US Senator for Illinois.

This is the reason for his status as a Peaceful Warrior…

In January 2008, Obama told Christianity Today: “I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that faith gives me a path to be cleansed of sin and have eternal life.” On September 27, 2010, Obama released a statement commenting on his religious views saying, “I’m a Christian by choice. My family didn’t—frankly, they weren’t folks who went to church every week. And my mother was one of the most spiritual people I knew, but she didn’t raise me in the church. So I came to my Christian faith later in life, and it was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead—being my brothers’ and sisters’ keeper, treating others as they would treat me.” (Wikipedia)

What’s in a Number: 153?

Fishers of Men?

Reading through David Wilcock’s Awakening in the Dream today, I was surprised to find that the number 153 is significant to the dimensions of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Well, let’s be clear, I’m not really surprised, just delighted that such synchronicity is a fact of spiritual truth.

When I started researching the number I found this. But the clincher was the Wikipedia post…

‘Writers claiming a major role for Mary Magdalene have noted that in Greek isopsephy her epithet “η Μαγδαληνή” bears the number 8 + 40 + 1 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 30 + 8 + 50 + 8 = 153, thus, it is suggested, revealing her importance.’

Or The Net?

The “Harvest” is coming closer and closer. Our next stage of the journey is a movement up vibrationally, to match Earth’s energy. Feminine equality is the hallmark of enlightenment. Are we paying attention? The Age of Aquarius will soon be here.

In order for us to be ‘caught up’ in the “Fishing Net”, we need to surrender to the inevitable. We need to stop struggling against the Tide.

Lastly, the number 153 is of key importance in the Bible and in the Great Pyramid alike. In the Old Testament, the number of builders of Solomon’s first temple, a symbol of the light-body, was said to be about 153,000,56 and the Tetragrammaton, or name of God, happens to appear exactly 153 times in the Book of Genesis.57 In John 21:11, it says that Simon Peter brought in a net with exactly 153 large fishes after Jesus’ arrival. The net did not break even though they caught “so many.” The number 153 is therefore considered to symbolize the people who will be Ascending at the end of the cycle, as the fish-catch is another harvest metaphor.

The number 153 also has interesting numerological characteristics, as it is the sum of the integers from 1 to 17. This makes it a triangular number, where if you visualize each number like a coin and you arrange the coins into triangle shapes as you place them down one by one, the seventeenth row of the triangle ends in the number 153. The numbers 1 and 15 are also triangular numbers.

In the Great Pyramid, the roof of the Grand Gallery is exactly 153 units of twelve Pyramid Inches in length. The top of the Great Step, which is also the floor of the King’s Chamber complex, is exactly 153 horizontal layers of stone blocks below the existing flat top of the pyramid. And lastly, the two low sections of the King’s Chamber Passage together measure 153.057 P” in length.

These connections again establish a very direct linkage between the exact dimensions of the Great Pyramid and the numerology in the Bible. This is another proof that the pyramid was intended to be a prophecy of the coming Messiah and the mass Ascension that would later occur.

Today in History, King John Signed Away His Power

Have you ever wondered why there has never been a King John II? This may be the reason.

Magna Carta Libertatum (Medieval Latin for “Great Charter of Freedoms”), commonly called Magna Carta (also Magna Charta; “Great Charter”), is a charter of rights agreed to by King John of England at Runnymede, near Windsor, on 15 June 1215. First drafted by the Archbishop of Canterbury to make peace between the unpopular King and a group of rebel barons, it promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons from illegal imprisonment, access to swift justice, and limitations on feudal payments to the Crown, to be implemented through a council of 25 barons. Neither side stood behind their commitments, and the charter was annulled by Pope Innocent III, leading to the First Barons’ War. (Wikipedia)

But I’m not honouring this event today, I’m demonstrating why Astrologers need to do their homework, in order to present an accurate picture historically.

This is the chart that was already sitting on my Kepler 7.0 computer program. Can you see what’s wrong with it? (Hint: check the date; it’s in Old Style – Julian calendar dating.)

Now take a look at the one I produced, in New Style – Gregorian calendar dating.

What a difference a few days make, eh?

Some of the elements and aspects are still the same, but then some are totally altered.

The Ascendant is now Libra Rising, instead of Virgo Rising. The Moon has moved on to 0 degrees Aquarius, and created three inconjuncts. And Mars has moved into an inconjunct with Pluto. Only the Saturn inconjunct Neptune aspect remains the same.

Now can you see why this “Great Charter” failed?

Is It Coincidence, or Something More?

The Celestine Prophecy (2006 film)

I’m usually not scathing of any film that attempts to demonstrate how spirituality works, but this one bothered me when I watched it. Partly because of the political regime violence depicted, partly because of the fear that was being portrayed. But these things are real for many people, so my criticism is based on a different perspective.

Spiritual Instruction

There are a lot of good spiritual hints contained in this film, in spite of my misgivings.

And once these lessons are learned, the student begins to look at the world differently.

Some Other Observations

There are two significant sequences in this film which are impressive and eye-opening.

Ordinarily, we see trees as being static. Their movements are so slow that we do not appreciate the life force that exists in them. But, if you have ever seen a stop motion film of the growth of a flower, for example, it comes alive when viewed at your ‘normal’ speed. That was demonstrated in the film quite well. (A bit like the Garden of Eden…)

The ending has an ‘other-worldly’ feel about it (see above). The premise of the story is contained therein: when we increase our spiritual vibration, we seem to become invisible to anyone who is in the ‘real’ world. I’m guessing this is what Ascension is supposed to be like.

But then, anyone, who has lost a loved one, still feels their continuous presence, even though they cannot be seen with ordinary eyes. That’s another hint, folks: the loved one’s vibration has been increased one level (at least) after they leave the physical body.

Conclusion

I am not a fan of the film (can’t you tell?) but I know that it is useful as a visual guide for those that haven’t read the book. I preferred the book.
