When a Candidate is a Democrat in Name Only

Posted on August 15, 2023 by cdsmiller17

Robert F Kennedy Jr Seems More Like a Republican It’s a strange process for sure: I ask who would be the modern equivalent of Benedict Arnold, and the first person who comes to mind is RFK Jr. Who would dare … Continue reading →

GOP Strategy: To Defeat Biden, Go After Harris

Posted on August 7, 2023 by cdsmiller17

Who Says White (Male) Supremacy is Dead? During the 2020 Presidential Election, I wondered if this particular strategy might surface. It didn’t, mainly because the Republicans didn’t realize that Kamala Harris was the hidden voter-getter for Biden. Now, with Biden’s … Continue reading →

Could You Recognize Propaganda When You See It ?

Posted on July 22, 2023 by cdsmiller17

Sound of Freedom (2023) First thing: I have not, and will not, watch this film. It has a story line that borders on child exploitation. But that seems to be the point that the film producers are wanting to promote. … Continue reading →

An Anti-VAXXer Wants to Be President in 2024

Posted on April 6, 2023 by cdsmiller17

Robert F. Kennedy Jr (January 17, 1954) Does RFK Jr have a death wish? That’s the only conclusion I can reach when considering his run for the Democrats’ nomination for the Presidency in 2024. First of all, he will have … Continue reading →

He’s Been a Man of Sorrows Most of His Adult Life

Posted on March 23, 2023 by cdsmiller17

George Soros (August 12, 1930) Lately, the GOP have taken to bandying his name about as if he were everything they fear (or wish he was backing them instead of the opposition). George Soros perhaps has TOO much money and … Continue reading →

The Most Progressive Democrat is Left Out in the Cold

Posted on March 20, 2023 by cdsmiller17

Bernie Sanders (September 8, 1941) I have a fondness for Bernie Sanders. He’s had a bit of a hard time getting his views heard by the other Democrats, but what he says makes sense, especially when discussing helping senior citizens … Continue reading →

Oops, They Did It Again…

Posted on January 13, 2023 by cdsmiller17

Whataboutism? Classified documents in two places connected with Joe Biden? This is a purposeful deflection by the Republicans to take the heat off Donald Trump. But the implication is that it was an inside job. Merrick Garland isn’t falling for … Continue reading →

She Just Wants to be the Star in the Movie of Her Life

Posted on December 10, 2022 by cdsmiller17

Kyrsten Sinema (July 12, 1976) With a name that is a homophone of cinema, it’s no wonder Kyrsten Sinema decided, after the Democrats took control of the US Senate, to become an independent. The theatre of it all! (aka “It’s … Continue reading →

When it Comes to American Politics:

Posted on December 3, 2022 by cdsmiller17

What’s Good for the Goose is Good for the Gander Interesting. The Hunter Biden laptop situation is a case in point. Obviously, ‘something’ is amiss, but is it enough to completely derail Joe Biden’s 2024 attempt to run for the … Continue reading →

And The Results Are (Not Quite) In…

Posted on November 13, 2022 by cdsmiller17

The 2022 American Midterm Elections It’s a very nebulous business, predicting elections. Obviously, the pundits got it wrong, but Michael Moore didn’t. Also, Cash Peters looked at a lot of individual races, and although he never sees who wins or … Continue reading →
