It’s a sad fact: we all get a little bit older everyday. Sometimes, we forget that, until we’re presented with photographic evidence of one of our favourite singer/songwriters. Here is Joni Mitchell:

The timing is considered excellent, as it is ‘from memory’. Well, perhaps, but anyone born at the top of the hour can confirm, the clock may have been rounded up (or back) 15 minutes by the person whose job it was to note the time down. There are two connected inconjuncts, highlighting the Moon and the Midheaven..

Moon Inconjunct Jupiter

This aspect indicates that you have a positive, optimistic outlook on life, and you enjoy socializing with good friends. However, there are some dangers with this aspect. First, it can be a sign that you are self-indulgent and possibly even selfish, although this is not likely to happen if you have a good, strong relationship with your mother. You have a great need to be cared for and supported, to be accepted for what you are with no strings attached. If this need is fulfilled, the positive side of this aspect will flourish.

If you feel emotionally secure and accepted, you will be able to give others the support that you would otherwise have been seeking for yourself. Jupiter Inconjunct Midheaven

The problem with this aspect is to find a balance between, on the one hand, expressing yourself creatively, perhaps artistically, and having a good time and, on the other hand, getting ahead in life, learning the ways of the world and finding an acceptable role in society. You know you will have to make sacrifices in order to accomplish anything of value.

Moon Conjunct Midheaven

Your emotions are very powerful, and you are quite sensitive to the feelings of others as well. What happens while you are young will have a very strong effect on your future life, so that the attitudes and habits that you pick up now will be very hard to change as you get older. It is also likely that the career you choose will be greatly influenced by your present ideas now.

This placement can indicate that in your career you will work with the public or large groups of people.

Now, this post will appeal most to people who love the Doctor Who series on the BBC. Most everyone else will raise their eyebrows and go, “Who?“

The date of Catherine Tate‘s birth is usually written wrong: May 12, 1968. That’s probably because of the differences in the way dates are written in the US and the UK. Day, month, year in one country was inverted to month, day, year in the other. But even Wikipedia needed correcting, because they had the year wrong, too. However, Ms. Tate’s birth time has been rectified (from an estimated time) by someone else, and I’m not exactly sure what his criteria was for doing so. Nevertheless, I agree with the result.

Neptune in the 1st House generally indicates a great actress, especially when the Ascendant and the planet are both in Scorpio. But I’m mindful that Neptune is also conjunct Venus (@ 0° Sagittarius) which may be the secret to her empathy when portraying ‘difficult’ females. There is one inconjunct.

Venus Inconjunct Saturn

This aspect means that your family may make you feel that you are unworthy of love. Unless you are given a great deal of love while you are young, you will be attracted to cold and unfeeling people when you are an adult. Such people are an outward expression of your inner feeling of unworthiness.

Even without any pressure, you are likely to be more disciplined than most people your age. You don’t go overboard in anything, and you feel strongly that your worth depends on what you do and how much you accomplish.

Even with his Birth Chart Changed by 10 Days…

Alex Murdaugh (Still Looks Guilty)

Due to the fact that Alex’ son, Buster, (finally) identified his father’s birth day as June 27th, I’ve done a second birth chart that highlights this change. To further complicate it, I’ve randomized the time to now.

There are still two Yods and they’re still pointing at Saturn (in the 6th House) and Neptune (in the 1st House). So no dramatic changes there, but those houses may confirm what I said about Alex telling lies for a living. Furthermore, the Sun/Venus/Mars conjunction is now moved away from Mercury which is retrograde on Gemini. There is a lot of food for thought, here.

This is what the ‘murders’ chart looks like on its own. Remember what I said about the only inconjunct being between the Moon and the Ascendant. Now, let’s look at Alex’ birth chart and the murders chart together to see what becomes even more evident.

Alex’ natal Moon is now almost exactly conjunct the event Mars. Hmm. The event Venus is conjunct Alex’ natal Sun, while both charts’ Mercury are retrograde @ 22° – 23° in Gemini. Both charts’ Part of Fortune are conjunct @ 26° Scorpio. And because the event Pluto is opposite the event Mars/Alex’ Moon conjunction, I suspect we have a ‘slam dunk’ guilty situation.

Now, if only he would stop ALL of his lying…

It’s Very Hard to be Constantly on the Alert

Phishing Emails

You can’t let down your guard, even for a minute. Just two days ago, I got an email from Microsoft that my email account had been signed in by someone in Moscow, Russia. If this wasn’t me, I was to report the individual. OK, sure, I’d been warned on Friday, last, by a scammer that he knew my password and that he could take over my account any time he wanted. I kept thinking, why tell me? Just do it!

The Microsoft email was sitting in the Junk folder, so I knew it couldn’t be real, even though the return address was ‘correct’. If it was truly on the up-and-up Microsoft would have put it in my Focused Inbox.

My wife, Susan, gets Amazon and CanadaPost emails stating that a parcel needs a signature, redirection or some other ruse to get her to respond. I always say, just delete them. She even had a Yahoo mail notification that her account had been hacked. They’d misspelled Yahoo (if that is indeed possible) on the return email address. So, if something doesn’t ‘feel’ right, don’t open it.

The Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23)

I’m schooled in Biblical truths. I hardly would have suspected anything to set me straight about this parable. It was Ellie Dreams Down Under’s use of the word ‘propagating’ when referencing Fox News. Holy sh*t! Propaganda!

On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea. 2 And great multitudes were gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat down; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Above the Law? No, Beneath Contempt

Murdaugh Murders: a Southern Scandal (2023)

There’s nothing like an on-going murder investigation and trial to catch the imagination of a nation, especially when it involves a powerful family dynasty of lawyers who also happen to be rich.

If you look at any recent news reports, you can see that the man at the centre of this scandal is a liar and a cheat, but is he a cold-blooded killer of his wife and youngest son? I’m not sure.

Alex Murdaugh (June 17, 1968)

The ‘truth’ about this birth chart is as muddied as Alex’ testimony. The timing is randomized, the place is the same as where his family home is now, and yet a whole lot jumps out of the chart, anyway. There are two interactive Yods: one pointing at Neptune, and the other pointing at Saturn. As this man is still alive, I won’t delineate these aspects, but other astrologers can take note, especially as they don’t depend on an accurate birth time. This man tells lies for a living…

The Murder of Paul and Maggie Murdaugh (June 7, 2021)

Before I show you how Alex’s chart lines up with their deaths, please note that the locals around the family home call them the “murdahs” (murders). It seems appropriate, somehow.

Because the timing of the murders is known, I took notice of the only inconjunct between the Moon and the Ascendant. This is a conflict between emotional needs and getting the job done. Hmm. (And with Alex’s Sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars conjunction in Gemini, his tendency would be to act first and cover his tracks later. There is also a bit of ‘love/hate’ there, too.) And, no matter how much he doth protest that he didn’t murder them, I am inclined to believe that he did shoot them, perhaps in a fit of pique. So, a cold-blooded killer, he is not, but in full rage, maybe. (The ‘event’ Neptune and his natal Moon line up with 1° of each other.)

Was He the Reason for Dorothy Kilgallen’s Death?

Don’t let anyone tell you that research of the past is unrewarding. The stuff that gets uncovered is worthy of a book or two. (And Shaw has beat me to that, with his Kilgallen book.)

This was already on my astrology program (note the spelling of his first name). By all accounts, Johnnie Ray was gay. There are three inconjuncts, two of which form a Yod pointing at Uranus. I will not delineate the aspects, but rest assured that those rumours were probably true. So, what can we make of the long term relationship that he had with Dorothy Kilgallen? Was he just ‘helping her out’ of a loveless marriage? And did he father her youngest child?

Kerry Kollmar (March 19, 1954)

Hmm. They look a lot similar, don’t they?

When you put together the three birth charts, it is VERY obvious that there are connections. (And the astrologers in my audience will recognize the signs quite easily.)

Dorothy’s husband, Richard Kollmar, once threatened to kill Johnnie, if he ever caught them together again. He, obviously, did not threaten Dorothy, who was his meal-ticket. But toward the end of her life, she started dating another man, which would have triggered Richard’s jealousy, again. In the last couple of weeks before Dorothy’s death, she got spooked because of a photo in an unnamed newspaper, showing Kerry on his own in Central Park. She changed her will (never found) and took valuables to Switzerland to secure Kerry’s future if she died prematurely. Evidently, Richard may have been the one to destroy her JFK/Lee Harvey Oswald/Jack Ruby file notes, stating that they’d done enough damage already. At this point, I’m going to stop worrying about this case, since the indication is that Richard may have ‘spiked’ Dorothy’s drink (“accidently on purpose”). So, no conspiracy, no further suspects.

Well, Ain’t That a Kick in the Head

Frank Sinatra (December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998)

I know the song belongs to Dean Martin, and not Frank Sinatra, but I thought how appropriate it feels for me after reading some of Frank’s history, especially his connections with the Mob.

Bottom line: Did Frank Sinatra hate Dorothy Kilgallen enough to kill her or have her killed? If so, he had to get in line since, though she was seemingly an unlikely threat as a slight woman with absolutely no propensities for violence, her powerful nature made her the target of harm by at least four other people.

Since I have researched other avenues to do with JFK’s assassination, and associated deaths, Sinatra’s name pops up too many times to be a coincidence. Maybe I need to look at his birth chart.

This is the ‘usual’ birth time, as noted on several astrology sites. I have only one quibble: there seem to be NO planets in his ‘adult’ years. Is that even possible for a guy that had such a charmed life? Jupiter appears at about age 10. Does this imply his ‘career’ started then? I don’t think so. But for our purposes, I’ll let it stand. There are four inconjuncts, two of which are combined in aspect to the Moon, and two form a Yod pointing at Saturn.

Moon Inconjunct Neptune

People with this aspect often hide their real feelings and make sacrifices for others that they do not really want to make. Then they resent the person who asked for the sacrifice. You must learn to tell people how you really feel; if you do not, you have only yourself to blame for what happens. You must learn to accept that you are responsible for your own life. Do not act as if you are the victim of strong forces that you can’t control, because you can control them.

Moon Inconjunct Midheaven

Work very hard to develop an objective awareness of what you are doing and where you are going. You will need this understanding to guide your emotions, which might otherwise lead you astray and make it difficult for you to focus on your goals. Learn to see others’ points of view, even if you cannot accept them. Learn to make logical decisions, and do not let passing moods color your attitudes about yourself and your life too much.

Mercury Inconjunct Saturn

A particularly serious problem can be feeling suspicious of others, which later in life will turn into a cynical attitude about people’s behavior. True, it is good to be aware of the realities of life and not [be] overidealistic. But you shouldn’t look at life in the worse possible light. You will learn soon enough what to expect of the world without having your nose rubbed in its less desirable features.

Saturn Inconjunct Uranus

On the positive side, if you can learn to live with this tension a bit and express your feelings and emotions before they reach the breaking point, you can be very patient and persistent. You will be able to accomplish many tasks that others would give up on, if you do not hold in all your feelings and desires for freedom.

Did He Have Anything to Do with Dorothy Kilgallen’s Death?

That conjunction within 2° of his natal Pluto and the ‘event’ Jupiter seems to hint at ‘something’, but on the whole I would say that directly, or indirectly, he is innocent of her murder. Case closed.

Her “Gift” Turned into a State Industry

Baba Vanga (October 3, 1911 – August 11, 1996)

Every other week, I read on MSM (and Facebook) that Baba Vanga has made yet another prophecy which may come true in 2023. So, it made me want to ‘see’ what I could discover about her, astrologically.

The only other birth chart I’ve seen for Baba was dated January 31, 1911, with no birth time (set for noon). I have now begun to trust the randomized timing, because more often than not it turns out to be very close to the true birth time. In this case, the position of Neptune may coincide with her ‘blinding’ at about the age of 10. As a result, there are three inconjuncts, but only one of them is (more or less) independent of a correct birth time.

Moon Inconjunct Venus

You need to be loved, even more than most people, particularly by your mother or another woman who takes the place of your mother. This need for love will be the force behind many of your actions. If you don’t find the love you are looking for, you will develop an insecure hunger for love from everyone you meet. However, you may express this in very strange ways, such as a desire for food, especially sweets, which unconsciously represent love to you.

I’m Bulgarian, 63 years old, and I remember Baba Vanga (‘baba’ in Bulgarian means ‘grandmother’) and everything in the story is completely true! Bulgarian State even gave her a licence to do that, which was impossible in the Communist time but she was unique with her skill !

As always, people apply specific interpretations to vague pronouncements in order to ‘prove’ how accurate she was. They did the same for Nostradamus. So, if you see her prophecies being spouted as predicting something in 2023, just remember that ‘truth’ is in the eye of the beholder.

In this way, it’s the vagueness of prophetic visions that make them so intriguing (aside from the whole “impossible magic” aspect). They reveal the obsessions of the era, and the preoccupations of those who interpret them. In this way, Baba Vanga and others like her prove valuable not necessarily because they confer the ability to prepare for major world events, but because of their ability to actually “predict,” in an indirect way, whatever people want to believe.

Did You Know There was a Real “Popeye” Doyle?

Sometimes, the obvious stares you right in the face and you choose to be blind to it. By all accounts, Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle’s character was based on Eddie Egan, a real NYPD detective. But was it, really?

Doyle, if he did read the autopsy report, may have been pressured or perhaps paid to disregard the mention of Tuinal since it would have muddied Dr. Luke’s official cause of death. Regarding payment, recall that Doyle somehow, despite earning only a detective’s salary, had enough money to open a restaurant shortly after his retirement without a pension from the police force.

I’m not intending to cast aspersions of ex-detective Jack “Popeye” Doyle‘s good character, but the question of turning a blind eye to Kilgallen’s ‘strange’ death is something that needs exploring.

This chart is totally speculative. But, even so, there is a hint at ‘something’ not being quite right.

Saturn Inconjunct Neptune

This aspect is strongest when either of these planets is also conjunct or opposition the Ascendant or Midheaven. It can a variety of effects, one of which may be difficulty in relating fantasy and imagination, on one hand, to reality, duty, obligation and work, on the other. Usually the reality, duty and work aspect of the combination is dominant, at least at first. Your imaginative side tends to be transformed into nervousness, fear and irrational anxieties. The most negative manifestation of this aspect is a feeling that you have to keep a tight lid on yourself and that if you look inside yourself too closely, you will find only emptiness and disintegration. It is difficult for you to realize that this is not the truth about your inner self.

It is only when you compare Doyle’s birth chart with Kilgallen’s death chart that you see what might have been a hidden agenda. There is a triple interactive Yod pointing at the Mercury/Uranus/Midheaven conjunction in Doyle’s chart formed from inconjuncts to Kilgallen’s ‘fatal’ Sun/Neptune conjunction and her ‘fatal’ Uranus/Pluto conjunction. Is that enough ‘proof’ to suggest that Doyle was ‘bought off’? Hmm, I wonder.
