This, Too, Shall Pass!

Full Moon in Aries (October 20, 2021)

Watching my friend’s YouTube video (on October 19th), I heard her say: “Wait until the full moon has passed before having That Talk…” (paraphrased, to remove the swear word). Geez, that means that Pluto is going to have another crack at my natal Mercury.

After working on Colin Powell’s ‘death’ chart, I was already aware of some inconjuncts, but looking at this event chart, I can see that Uranus has become the point of a Yod featuring inconjuncts from Mercury and Venus. That cannot be good news. Mars is also inconjunct Neptune, with Jupiter being inconjunct the Midheaven. Ellie’s video point was that the Moon is opposite the Sun/Mars conjunction in Libra, with Pluto as the pivot of the T-square. Lots of tension involved, here.

I like to personalize the energies, so I’m combining the event chart with my birth chart:

Should I be saying ‘oh-oh’? My natal Mercury and transiting Pluto are taking a long time to part company, so I’ve been feeling that tension for quite a while now. What’s new is my natal Mars/South Node conjunction is being transited by the event Mercury @ 10° Libra, and my natal Venus is feeling the restriction of a transiting Saturn. The only redeeming feature of these two charts combined is my natal Sun still being conjunct the event Jupiter. So that’s ‘lucky’. But, just to be sure that something emotional is probably going to occur, my natal Moon is opposite the event Uranus. Oh-oh, for sure.

My natal Uranus (which is usually unaspected) is inconjunct the event’s South Node/Ascendant conjunction… This could imply a major breakup of some kind. What do you think?

Hmm

“Regrets? I’ve had a few, but then again…”

Colin Powell (April 5, 1937 – October 18, 2021)

As an Astrologer, I am always fascinated that other Astrologers do not put two-and-two together to come up with a rectified time for the birth of an individual. Such is the case with Colin Powell.

“While attending the City College of New York, Powell joined the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). He described the experience as one of the happiest experiences of his life. According to Powell:”

It was only once I was in college, about six months into college when I found something that I liked, and that was ROTC, Reserve Officer Training Corps in the military. And I not only liked it, but I was pretty good at it. That’s what you really have to look for in life, something that you like, and something that you think you’re pretty good at. And if you can put those two things together, then you’re on the right track, and just drive on.

Wikipedia

He would have been about 18 years of age (in 1955). I rectified his chart so that Mars would be at about this age.

As a result, there are two inconjuncts that are independent of an exact birth time.

Sun Inconjunct Neptune

You are very sensitive to your environment and to the people around you. On one level of your being, you feel what is going on very acutely. Unfortunately your understanding often comes in terms that are very difficult to communicate to others, because their meaning is not clear in your own mind. Your greatest danger is in being exposed to negative people who are full of anger or depression or who act very harshly toward you and undermine your self-confidence.

If you do develop a bad self-image because of such negative influences, you will assert yourself in unhealthy ways. Instead of standing up for your own rights, you will give in to another’s will, but in such a way as to make that person feel guilty. Often you will refuse to tell someone what you really want, thereby allowing him or her to hurt you without meaning to. You may begin to see yourself as a helpless victim of circumstances.

On the other hand, you can develop into a compassionate and understanding person who instinctively knows what others need and how to serve them. True selfless service to others, giving of yourself voluntarily rather than because you feel there is no choice, will make you feel good, just as the negative behavior described above will make you and everyone else feel bad.

Venus Inconjunct Mars

You must learn to control your emotions to some extent, so that your feelings do not prevent you from getting along with others. It is difficult for you to react to someone without emotions, for you tend to either love or hate people quite intensely. Your feelings are often mixed, even toward your friends. One moment you love your friend, and the next moment you hate him or her. Any little problem can set off your anger against someone, but you usually cool off quickly also. Your close relationships will be a bit stormier than most, but this should not be a serious problem later in life. In fact you probably prefer stormy relationships, because it means that you are really involved with the other person.

While you are young, as well as later, you may be attracted to persons who, if you think rationally about it, do not seem very well suited to you. This problem will be greatest if you do not feel god about yourself, for it is a reflection of your own inner turmoil about love and your right to be loved.

What about the Weapons of Mass Destruction?

Colin Powell Died Yesterday

He was suffering from blood cancer, so the COVID-19 vaccine could not protect him from coronavirus-related effects.

Notice how there are now three inconjuncts in the death chart. The one most sensitive to an exact timing is the Moon inconjunct to the Ascendant. That’s interesting. Let’s look at both charts together.

Perhaps it’s significant that his ‘fatal’ Moon is conjunct his natal Part of Fortune @ 1° Aries. Right up to the very end of his life, and now just beyond his death, he has remained a very popular and well-loved American hero. If ever a soldier dies with that sense of a mission accomplished, he dies happy.

Some Thoughts

Amen. Rest in peace, sir.

The Wellspring*: A Cosmic Shift

October 19, 2021: * New Channelling (XXII)

In a short time, circumstances on the planet are coming to a crisis point

and humanity has to look first at the responsibility it bears towards the changes that are happening. The warnings have already come and reality is now the main focus that calls for attention. The planet is shifting and the energies of which we speak have been affecting the physical matter of the planet itself, along with all beings that reside within that energy. Major shake-ups, major movements are spinning and adjusting towards a new reality. Fear can be so counterproductive and it requires personal discipline to breathe and trust that this is all according to the Plan. Biological, physiological beings are all being affected by these shifting energies, and the inherent lesson is that, while you remain upon the planet, you are to maintain calmness, as chaotic behaviour will be seen all around you.

Now this may sound alarming, but for those who have an understanding, that there is a cosmic shift at work, should accept that their presence here is to assist in these changes and not be apprehensive for their physical well being. During this shift, life as you know it will still continue, but there is an underlying ‘knowing’ that this can create some instability in daily living. The manifestations of the change will come more rapidly than you expect.

People are migrating, leaving behind chaotic and angry situations, seeking peace and stability. It tends to make others feel threatened by this migration, but, because it is so unstoppable, you are required to find a way to integrate the new that is presented with these personalities, who have much to contribute to the old systems and societies. It is their job to assist in the shift and new ways of thinking.

Living in the moment is the best way to handle this. Denial of the changes serves no purpose. The energies are here to assist you.

Can a Saint’s Feast Day be Proof of Birth or Death?

Francis of Assisi (1881 – October 3, 1226)

This is another one of my totally speculative posts. Saint Francis of Assisi is one of those people in history that had an obscure beginning, but a glorious end. But, as ‘luck’ would have it, his chart was already on my Kepler 7.0 program. Can I trust the information it contains, or should I just ignore it?

No guesses which I will choose.

To have him be born on the day before his feast day in the new Gregorian calendar seems a bit of a stretch, but it works in a weird way. The inconjuncts between the Moon and Uranus in Taurus with Mercury in Libra, coupled with the Sun @ 10° Libra inconjunct Jupiter @ 8° Taurus, gives this chart its ‘otherworldly’ feel. And the Neptune @ 3° Aquarius (conjunct his Ascendant @ 29° Capricorn 49′) inconjunct Pluto @ 3° Cancer 33′ makes this feel very much like the energies of Jesus, a man Francis sought to emulate completely. (The reason for this statement will be obvious later.)

Mars and the South Node conjunct @ 20° Capricorn in the 12th House will also feature prominently, I suspect.

His Death Chart

This chart was set by me with the Old Style date of October 3, 1226. That equates to October 10th, New Style. The timing is randomized. There is a lot of energy not yet brought into harmony. This implies the need to further reincarnate. This brings me to the idea that Pope Francis may have taken his name, and his mantle. See where I’m going with this? No? Read on…

Quad Chart Featuring the Buddha, Jesus, Francis and Pope Francis.

If you are an Astrologer, this combination will seem unlikely, too. But there it is in the lines of these combined charts. Pope Francis’ Ascendant @ 10° Cancer is conjunct Francis’ Pluto, Jesus’ Midheaven and the Buddha’s Uranus. That’s the thread of a spiritual heritage. Even Francis’ Ascendant is conjunct Jesus’ Mercury @ 29° Capricorn. The Buddha’s Part of Fortune is within 3° of them.

Pope Francis’ Uranus is closely conjunct Francis’ Moon, Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in Taurus. That’s enough for now.

A credo for us all.

Could He have been a Precursor to Jesus?

Buddha (April 8, 563 BCE – 483 BCE)

This post is going to seem totally speculative. Is it possible to raise a birth chart for the Buddha? Well, yes, if you can trust the traditional birth date as stated on this web page.

The timing is randomized, so the one inconjunct that appears on the chart is coincidental. But it might be informative, anyway.

Sun Inconjunct Ascendant

Your relationships with other people can be very intense. While you are young, they may be quite difficult, because you feel that others will accept you only if you deny yourself in some way. Or you may constantly feel you should put off doing what you want in order to do what you have to do. Usually your ideas about what you have to do come from the people around you. Also, contacts with other people will frequently force you to make serious, major psychological changes. Difficulties in your relationships with friends and family are signs of profound internal changes.

You may find that no matter how hard you try to show others who you really are, they misunderstand you somehow. This is because the angular relationship between your rising sign and Sun sign indicates that your internal energies are quite different from the energies that you show to the world. You are not intentionally dishonest with the world, you simply present a confusing complex of energies. As you get older, you will learn more about your effect on people, which will enable you to put the two sides of your personality together so that they work smoothly. Be patient and do not hurry. Look at each relationship as an opportunity to learn more about yourself through your effects upon others. You will know you have learned this when you no longer attract people who are psychologically difficult to deal with.

Or, To Put It Another Way…

The many similarities between Jesus and Buddha (owlcation.com)

Because I cannot do Buddha’s death chart, there s no way to ‘prove’ reincarnation, but comparing their birth charts is another matter.

Some would suggest, perhaps, that I’m totally deluded, here, but that’s the great thing about Astrology, planets sometimes line up most unexpectedly. Take for example, Buddha’s Mars (conjunct his Descendant) is in the same vicinity of Jesus’ Jupiter/Saturn conjunction: “We have seen his star rise in the East…” Buddha’s North Node is conjunct this position in Pisces. Jesus’ North Node is conjunct Buddha’s Saturn in Aries. Jesus’ Midheaven is conjunct Buddha’s Uranus in Pisces. Finally, Jesus’ Pluto is conjunct Buddha’s Ascendant @ 12° Virgo. No, you couldn’t ask for better proof, even if randomized.

Here’s that list from owlcation.com that compares the two men:

“There are many similarities between the mythical elements of Jesus and Buddha. Here are just a few of the most striking similarities.

  • Conceived in a miraculous manner
  • Similar names of mother (Maya for Buddha, Mary for Jesus)
  • Was a bit of a child prodigy
  • Underwent a long period of fasting while traveling alone
  • Tempted by, but overcame, the devil
  • Began an itinerant ministry around the age of 30
  • Had disciples who traveled with him.
  • Performed miracles, such as curing blindness and walking on water
  • Renounced worldly riches and required his disciples to do so also
  • Rebelled against the religious elite (Brahmans for Buddha and Pharisees for Jesus)
  • Dispatched disciples, shortly before his death, to spread his message”

Cash Peters’ transition pictures for both men also show something unexpected: Buddha is a compact orb of bright light; Jesus is a blinding star. Hmm.

.

And then there’s this…

Doesn’t that just say it all?

The Wellspring*: Isolation

October 18, 2021: *New Channelling (XXI)

The sickness in society will continue, all the while selfish interests prevail.

The sickness we speak of is of the soul, which then manifests through the physical. Eons have passed and opportunities have been many for society to wake up to the injustices that abound, all rooted in the non-recognition of the brotherhood of man.

Concern that self is an island in a turbulent sea of life has perpetuated the isolation that many feel, seeking to defend against all challenges, not trusting your fellows

How does society change? Rarely will it happen voluntarily.

For those who have lived in a war situation, many think back to a period of comradeship and selfless support received, with fond memories. But once the war was over, in very little time, there was a scramble back to the old habits, which re-emerge as patterns of self-interest.

It will be during the coming times that awareness will be impelled to change, that unless society works together towards the common good, destruction is all that will remain. We do not tell you this to create fear, but to remind you that all must play their part for the good of all. In so doing you will all rise together into the New Dawn. All barriers must come down to enable love and unity to prosper. The Aquarian Age is about recognising the brotherhood of humanity, all working towards a common goal.

The Wellspring*: A New Dawn

October 17, 2021: *New Channelling (XX)

Things get jammed up when there is no resolve achieved by the polarising of men.

Uniting forces can only work when there is a will to seek resolution. There is a force at work to maintain the status quo and prevent any movement to a new state of being. This resistance is to be seen in all fields of human endeavour whether physical or emotional. With the denial of responsibility, that all play their part in moving forward, stagnation is produced.

Sometimes there is a feeling of despair when the resistance appears to be so wilful, and questions are asked on how to encourage compromise. Within this resistance is a self-destructive element which will be the final result.

The energies coming cannot be denied or held back by this resistance against change, and will eventually force action. This will bring destruction to the Old Order, sweeping clean for the new to be born.

Do not fear the escalating breaking down of all that is familiar. With calmness, you will help to ease the passage. The shift does create a storm on all levels, physical and emotional, because these are the elements of this dimension, and this will clear the way to prepare for the new dawn.
