Famous Last Words? “I Think That Went Quite Well”

Prince Andrew on the BBC (November 16, 2019)

“Scoop”, the Netflix film about the negotiation that led to the interview of Prince Andrew by the Newsnight team, was released on April 5th. According to the film, the term “Randy Andy” was used as the hook to get him to do the program. It’s a classic case of how one’s indiscretions of youth follow one’s person into one’s senior years.

It’s hard to believe this took place just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The signs are there, if you know what you’re looking for, which is why we say that hindsight is 20/20. There are two inconjuncts which are time sensitive. The first involves the Moon and Venus. The second links Mercury to the Midheaven. You can draw your own conclusions about them.

I decided against showing the interview in its entirety. I also decided not to share any soundbites. The body language is too revealing. My job here is to see why this event became the undoing of HRH.

When we combine Prince Andrew‘s birth chart with the BBC event chart, we see how the Universe lined up the two charts so that there’s no mistaking its intention. Significantly, Andrew’s Moon is conjunct the event Sun. Jupiter is transiting his Jupiter. Saturn is conjunct his Saturn. The event Neptune is approaching his Mercury. And Andrew’s South Node is conjunct the event Part of Fortune. (I was also reminded that Andrew’s Venus and Mars are closely conjunct: the love/hate effect in his relationships.)

When asked if he regretted his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew hesitated, and then said, “No.”

That said it all, as far as I am concerned. Any ‘normal’ person would have taken the opportunity to set the record straight by answering, “Yes.” Out of his own mouth, he condemned himself to royal oblivion.

So, for the nation and the Royal Family, that interview did not go “quite well.”

Some Reminders for Others, If Their Lives are Impacted

Bipolar Disorder (aka Manic Depression)

I am not an expert, but I have rubbed shoulders with the problem over the years, because my eldest daughter suffers from it. In truth, no one can help her unless and until she wants to help herself.

And here’s an illustration to show you what happens…

Any clearer?

A Little Canadian Show about Mental Health and Sports

Spinning Out (2020)

Every time a family member suggests a certain Netflix or Prime video, we try it out. This suggestion came with an enthusiastic response, even though it’s about bipolar disorder that’s been passed from the mother to the eldest daughter. It’s also about figure skating, so there is a lyrical quality to the show.

We have only watched two episodes of the 10-episode series, so it’s early days, yet. But the ice skating is exquisite. And it’s filmed in Ontario, pretending to be Idaho. (The Blue Mountains ski resort figures strongly as the backdrop for the whole operation.)

This one hits a little too close to home, so I have to remind myself that it is a fictional drama, not reality.

Will they succeed and live happily ever after? Let’s hope so.

And a Further Explanation is in Order

Precession of the Equinoxes

I’ve written about time being cyclical previously. In fact, I’ve written about the cycles of time, many times. Isn’t that ironic?

But most people are unaware of what that means cosmically.

This image conveys what it means for us living on this little blue marble, somewhere in space. But when viewed as a sine wave, the understanding is somewhat clearer:

Of course, how one interprets the signs is purely personal and speculative. But I am reminded that the lemniscate of the Tarot comes into play here. This shows that we each have our spiritual cycles within the greater cosmic cycle.

So, as we circle through our solar year, let us stay mindful of the Universe within which we live.

The Last Time This Alignment Happened in Taurus

German Spy Codes Began to be Decoded (May 8, 1941)

Don’t take my word for it, here’s what On This Day wrote for the next day:

Enigma Code Broken

May 9 British intelligence at Bletchley Park breaks German spy codes after capturing Enigma machines aboard the weather ship Muenchen

I never expected that Alan Turing‘s contribution to the British war effort had its genesis with the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus. That’s interesting, is it not?

In the chart, above, Pluto is on the Descendant @ 2° Leo, and Mars is inconjunct Neptune, signifying the use of war to break through enemy secrets. I wonder what it means for us in the present time?

Jupiter/Uranus Conjunction in Taurus (April 20, 2024)

Strangely enough, there is still a bunch of planets in and near Taurus. This time the conjunction is just below the horizon of the Descendant @ 22° Taurus 49′. There is an inconjunct linking the Sun and Moon. Hmm.

Just for fun, let’s see what combining these two charts shows us.

Reflecting was was shown in the 2024 chart, there is a Yod pointing at the Sun, formed by inconjuncts to 2041’s Moon and Midheaven. What I wasn’t expecting is the 2024 Moon’s position to be (almost) exactly conjunct to 2041’s North Node. In fact, a few minutes later, they would have been precisely exact. The 1941 South Node is about 1° from 2024’s Neptune. Is that spooky, or what?

The final connection involves 2024’s Pluto to be within 2° of 1941’s Ascendant @ 0° Aquarius.

Here Are Some Thoughts by Others

The event is only a week away, so whatever happens, it should be enlightening, for sure.

If You Could Do Your Life Over, Would You?

Being Erica (2009 – 2011)

We all have regrets. During our lives, we chose one door, when we perhaps should have taken another. But what would happen if you were allowed to have a do-over? Would you be willing to see how things could be different? We’ve seen this in other shows and films: Back To The Future and Sliding Doors.

Erica Strange is a young woman, smart and well-educated, but an underachiever who has been perennially unlucky in her career and her love life. After accidentally consuming a drink with hazelnut flavouring, to which she is allergic, she wakes up in the hospital and meets Dr. Tom, who claims that he can help her fix everything that is not going well in her life. Although initially reluctant, she soon learns that what he is offering is the ability to go back in time to relive and even change her deepest regrets.

Each time she faces a problem in the present, Dr. Tom sends her back to revisit a related regret. The situation is rarely as simple as it first appears: in nearly every case, the event she was seeking to avoid by acting differently still occurs, and she must instead seek out new information to uncover the event’s real meaning, which gives her new insight into how to handle her problem in the present. It quickly becomes apparent the therapy’s true purpose is not to let Erica erase her regrets, but to help her improve her future by learning from past mistakes and making different decisions in the present.

Over the course of the series, the sessions also serve to reveal some of the limitations and complications, as well as the metaphysical implications, of the therapy process — such as whether a patient can intervene to change somebody else’s destiny besides their own, whether the therapist can intervene on the patient’s behalf to change their past without the patient’s knowledge, whether a patient is allowed to reveal the future to another person during a session, and whether the therapy was ever really happening or was merely a dream all along. Later seasons introduce a group therapy session, where several patients gather to discuss and share ideas about one patient’s time travel sessions.

Premise (Wikipedia)

This post is, in part, responding to last Friday’s “Human Ascension with Ellie” video as shared on Facebook. Ellie’s question is whether any of us have free will or is everything predestined. It’s a good question. To have a Canadian TV comedy-drama explore those very questions seems to me serendipitous.

In my own life, I can totally relate to Erica, as played by Erin Karpluk. It’s probably why I became a hypnotherapist during some of the years I lived in the UK. It is also why I’ve been an astrologer since 1977: I wanted to be of service to others. And now I’m a writer of daily posts exploring all these ideas.

Amen.

The Gaza Crisis was Foretold in Psalm 83

Don’t take my word for it. Read it yourself. But, if you cannot correlate their ancient names with their modern counterparts, check out this image:

Do you see why President Biden is getting nervous about a potential ‘invasion’ by the IDF into Rafah?

And, in case you missed the connection: modern day Gazans were the Philistines of old.
