Yes, There Really was a Child who Needed an Exorcist

Ronald Edwin Hunkeler (June 1, 1935 – May 10, 2020)

Even at the time, there were efforts to hide his identity, so that he could lead a ‘normal’ life. But after his death in 2020, the truth came out. Now I have recreated his birth chart with a randomized timing.

This is an instance of getting a Cosmic hint to explain what is upcoming on early Saturday morning: an obsessive conjunction between Venus and Pluto, which, in his case, has the South Node sandwiched between them. My first thought was, this is connected to a past life*, but which one? As randomized charts can be tricky, I’m always pleasantly surprised when they turn out all right: (such as Neptune on the horizon.)

There are three inconjuncts, but only one of them can be completely relied upon.

Moon Inconjunct Jupiter (perhaps)

This aspect indicates that you have a positive, optimistic outlook on life, and you enjoy socializing with good friends. However, there are some dangers with this aspect. First, it can be a sign that you are self-indulgent and possibly even selfish, although this is not likely to happen if you have a good, strong relationship with your mother. You have a great need to be cared for and supported, to be accepted for what you are with no strings attached. If this need is fulfilled, the positive side of this aspect will flourish. But if your mother does not support your needs fully, you will feel insecure and will look elsewhere for support and fulfillment. In this case your concern will be totally for yourself with little thought for other people’s needs.

Mars Inconjunct Saturn (for sure)

This can be a difficult aspect because it signifies a conflict between your sense of responsibility and your desire to fulfill your own needs and do what you want. This leads to a struggle within you that may keep you from acting decisively. Instead of deciding what you will do, you feel caught between these two forces, wondering whether you have the right to do what you want. You may feel that others are trying to frustrate you, but it is only your own indecisiveness that is causing the trouble. Sometimes this conflict makes you very irritable and resentful about nothing in particular. Then, when someone happens to act in a way that is obviously annoying, you focus all your built-up anger on that person.

Jupiter Inconjunct Midheaven (maybe)

This aspect can mean that you have mixed feelings toward adults and persons in authority over you. Although you know that they have your best interests at heart and that they want you to succeed at your own objectives, it often seems as if these demands are keeping you from doing what you want. When you want to go off and have fun, for example, you are told to finish your work first. At times you want to break free of this restricting influence and go off by yourself.

So, not a Mount Rainier boy, after all.

Roland was born into a German Lutheran family in 1935. During the 1940s the family lived in Cottage City, Maryland. According to Allen, Roland was an only child and depended upon adults in his household for playmates, primarily his Aunt Harriet. His aunt, who was a spiritualist, introduced Roland to the ouija board when he expressed interest in it.

According to Thomas B. Allen, after Aunt Harriet’s death the family experienced strange noises, furniture moving of its own accord and ordinary objects such as vases flying or levitating when the boy was nearby.

Wikipedia

Okay. For those of you who don’t know about ouija boards, experimentation with them can open some people up to possession by discarnate beings. That’s what may have happened to Ronald. His aunt may have had a further hand in it, after her death. She could have prompted some paranormal experiences in order for his parents to seek help from Roman Catholic priests. We may now never know for sure.

Philip II of France (August 21, 1165 – July 14, 1223)

This is where things get weird. When writing about William Marshal, earlier this week, I pondered on the birth and death charts of this individual. No matter who I linked him with in the present time, I couldn’t get a match. So, yesterday, after writing the first half of this post, I had a wee nap. Not 10 minutes into the nap, I got the suggestion to look at the Albigensian Crusade, and, of course, Philip II.

Ronald’s Moon is conjunct Philip II’s natal Pluto. Ha! And Ronald’s Venus/Pluto/South Node is conjunct Philip II’s ‘fatal’ Sun/Mercury/Midheaven. Ronald’s Jupiter is conjunct Philip II’s natal Part of Fortune, while Ronald’s Part of Fortune is conjunct Philip II’s natal Mercury. There are enough connections to prove karmic links, in my opinion.

This looks like a karmic debt to the Cathars for releasing a crusade against them. Well, I never…

There Are Hints that Kate is Just Like Diana, But Isn’t

Catherine, Princess of Wales (January 9, 1982)

This recent abdominal surgery suggests that Kate has (or had) a gut issue. Literally, she is trying to hold her life together in the face of becoming the William’s Queen too soon. Is it an ulcer? Was she bulimic? Did she have a hysterectomy? No one who knows is telling us. So, I thought I’d look at her chart for insight.

Kate’s winning smile belies a nervous disposition. Who knows what goes on behind closed palace doors? But looking at her birth chart, the Sun/Moon opposition tells part of the story. She’s in the position of Princess of Wales because her mother wished it, even though her Capricorn Sun would have resisted the idea strongly. Perhaps she’s been a royal in a previous life (Sun/South Node) and didn’t want to go through that again. Perhaps the two inconjuncts will help us understand what’s going on, behind the scenes.

Sun Inconjunct Ascendant

Your relationships with other people can be very intense. While you are young, they may be quite difficult, because you feel that others will accept you only if you deny yourself in some way. Or you may constantly feel you should put off doing what you want in order to do what you have to do. Usually your ideas about what you have to do come from the people around you. Also, contacts with other people will frequently force you to make serious, major psychological changes. Difficulties in your relationships with friends and family are signs of profound internal changes.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

If your movements are restricted and you have few opportunities to experience yourself directly, you will become more resentful of authority and finally disregard whatever you are told, regardless of merit. Later in life this attitude could make it extremely hard for you to hold down a job, because you will respond to bosses in the same way that you respond now to your parents and other grown-ups.

Her ‘feud’ with Meghan Markle is a case in point. It has soured William’s relationship with Harry, and the result is a split in the British Royal Family. We’ve seen this before in the House of Windsor. Isn’t it funny how ‘things’ come ’round again?

‘Nuff said.

Loving and Hating in the Age of Aquarius

Venus Conjunct Pluto (February 17, 2024)

Hot on the heals of Mars and Pluto conjunct in Aquarius, today, on Valentine’s Day, comes another exact conjunction between Venus and Pluto. This one matters because we live in a binary world…

I chose my birth time of 3:49 am, to see what aspects would appear. Only Uranus is inconjunct with the Midheaven, which is significant because Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius.

Uranus Inconjunct Midheaven

You need to express your thoughts and feelings, but you often upset the people around you with your words. The underlying principle of this aspect is the need to balance your individual self-expression and manner of communicating with your need to learn and grow under the guidance of older people.

Certainly you will discover your own routes to what you want in life. Now you need to be given the confidence and encouragement to look for these routes on your own with total freedom.

This time I have not compared my birth chart with this event. There are a couple of reasons for that: in the first place, I have written about Venus and Mars before, especially when they are conjunct. This time Pluto is in the mix and that makes it more concerning. As an Aquarian, I have very strong emotions and the love/hate dynamic can sometimes pull me off course.

Finding a balance between these energies is difficult, even at the best of times.

Does that make sense?

(This comes today after experiencing a higher than normal blood sugar level this morning, while not having done anything differently last night. I wonder if the Mars/Pluto conjunction affected me personally…)

Some Words of Comfort, Written by A.E.I. Falconar

The Golden Thread (April 11, 1995)

I found the following passages in the mid-1990’s, in this book. I thought enough of them to type them out for memory’s sake. Evidently, A.E.I. Falconar wrote about Sufi literature.

When the human voyager has freed himself from his fears and accomplished all his physiological needs, it is as if he has climbed out of a deep pit and reached the top of a high hill from where he sees a vast land stretching in every direction. He is like a poor man lifted into a limitless inheritance. In this transcendent land are all manner of beauties, poetry and art and mysticism, and beyond are ideas and places of the brain that have not yet been explored or developed…

When I started on my mental journey, the way seemed to be dark and impossible, yet I slowly found my way; and so can everyone else. I see the path to the peak experience as passing through the poetic, the emotional and the mystical regions. For the person who appreciates the beauty of poetry, the path though ecstasy and the peak experience is easy to see and it leads directly to the highest mysticism, ending in release and beyond. This is the way I know, and it is the only way I can write about but there are a hundred other ways to release and a hundred other ways for every intellect…

In meditation it is possible to dive deeper and deeper into the mind to a place where there is no disturbance and there is absolute solitude. It is at this point in the profound stillness that the sound of the mind can be heard. It is like the sea breaking on a far off reef, and it lulls the being into extreme calm. Like the sea it is a music primeval and here is no storm, only the silken waves soughing. When I listen to the sound of this sea, I sense that I am a voyager and this sound is a wind in the sails of a ship. But this sound is not of this world for other sounds are heard distinctly and cause this sound to die, though it returns with the silence. Sometimes I think it as a transcendent sound which speaks of unknown powers, of cosmic storms and sun winds sighing in the brain. This is no earthly voyage, and I see visions of ships that sail on no earthly sea. Our ships sail on upon a silent sea; no wind, there is no sound, but we move on.

Who knew?

They Say, In Life…

Third Time’s a Charm

As you may remember, I’ve been married three times. The first time was 54 years ago, tomorrow. The last time was 14 years ago, in May. The second marriage was the longest of the three, so far.

Individually, I have looked at these three weddings before, but I got the impulse yesterday to combine the three into a composite chart with my own chart, to see how they line up. There are echoes everywhere. For example, my Part of Fortune (@ 13° Virgo 33′) seems to have been a major contributor to my emotional happiness. The 1st’s South Node is within 1° of it, as is the 3rd’s Ascendant. But the 2nd’s Neptune is conjunct my natal Ascendant. It was during that 18 year marriage that my quest for spiritual knowledge was triggered, starting with my past life regression, which uncovered Pierre Radisson and the Roman Governor of Judea which would eventually reveal himself as Tiberius Julius Alexander. The soldier wounded on a World War battlefield came later, and might have been Ramsay.

All I know is that I wouldn’t have even thought to become a Karmic Astrologer except for my three marriages. And I wouldn’t have had my children, either, without them. So, hopefully, something good…

Let’s call it the luck of the Irish.

This Valentine’s Day…

Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”

It’s one of those slips of the tongue (Freudian?) that comes about when you’re thinking one thing, but another thing comes out. I was writing a comment on Saturn Season Astrology‘s YouTube video yesterday, in reference to Mars and Pluto being conjunct this Wednesday at 0° Aquarius, and instead of “Rebel Yell” I wrote ‘Good day for a White Wedding.’ What!?

Like last week’s political assassination of Joe Biden, this chart has all the planets in one hemisphere of the configuration. This time, they’re in the personal half. Interestingly, 30 minutes before, the chart would have had a Yod pointing at the Midheaven, formed by a triple inconjunct from Venus, Mars and Pluto on one side, and a single inconjunct from the Moon on the other. That’s the “White Wedding”.

At the point of exact conjunction between Mars and Pluto, there are no inconjuncts.

Mars Conjunct Pluto

You have a very strong will, although you may express it in subtle ways. If you don’t get your way, you may lose your temper, but when you see that that will get you nowhere, you change your tactics. The greatest problem with this aspect is that you may decide that getting your own way is the most important thing in life and that the only way to get it is by controlling others. Unless you are taught to have a high regard for other people’s rights, you may trample upon them. But in that case people are likely to gang up on you and try to stop you at every turn, which will make you feel very frustrated and even farther from attaining your objectives.

Sound like anyone we know?

Now, Ellie Dreams Down Under posted this video today:

OK. Here’s How One Legend Leads to Another

Durandal – Roland’s Sword

It was something in the story of Henry the Younger King that caught my eye. Evidently, he stole Roland‘s sword, but didn’t get away with it. This sword may (or may not) have spawned the Sword in the Stone legend attached to Arthur. In fact, Durandal passed through the hands of Charlemagne, on its way to Roland. Rumour suggests that Wayland the Smith may have forged it. I’ve been to Wayland’s Smithy!

How’s that for synchronicity?

William Marshal’s Final Resting Place

Temple Church, London

Funny, isn’t it? When I lived in England, I once passed this church in London and had a little ‘moment’.

Round churches are rare. Especially in the Middle Ages. This one stands out as a place where Knights Templar are entombed, including William Marshal.

London has been important to my past lives as I’ve noted before. Even William Blake’s story ends there. But I never expected to completely uncover why. Now I know.

He Became a Templar Knight on His Deathbed

William Marshal (c. 1146 – May 14, 1219)

I know, I know, this may seem to be a stretch, but when you search and search for a Knights Templar who could have been my prior life, it feels like a lost cause. And then this YouTube video shows up:

William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke, is a success story, for real. He served four Kings, starting with Henry II and ending with Henry III, with Richard and John in between.

That Yod, pointing at Saturn, is interesting. It is formed by inconjuncts to Mercury and Mars. My spidey sense started to tingle. (See, I can’t help myself, can I?)

The links are visible, and may better help me to understand my connection to Henry II. In fact, being in service to Eleanor of Aquitaine makes perfect sense (his ‘fatal’ Saturn to my natal Moon). And the reincarnation of this Knight is symbolized by his ‘fatal’ Mars being conjunct to my natal North Node.

If I only could, I would compare Tiberius Julius Alexander’s charts to this individual, and I suspect there would be direct links. Marshal got to travel to Jerusalem during the Crusades. Isn’t life amazing?

Bless.

It’s James Comey 2.0

August 2023 Washington Post poll

The Political Assassination of Joe Biden

We saw it happen in the summer before Hillary Clinton’s run for US president. James Comey said she was guilty of a crime but he couldn’t indict her: But then he reopened the case against her days before the election in 2016. What was he thinking?

Looks like it’s happened again.

The pyrotechnics were delivered on Thursday afternoon in the findings of special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents after he left the vice-presidency in 2017.

The top-line conclusion was that the president would not face criminal charges for his actions, despite evidence that he had “wilfully retained and disclosed classified materials… when he was a private citizen”.

The bottom line was much more damaging. Among the reasons Mr Hur listed for why he had decided not to prosecute the 81-year-old president was because he would likely be a sympathetic figure to a jury who would view him as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory”.

BBC

That last phrase is the nail in Biden’s political coffin.

Post Script

To demonstrate that there are no ‘accidents’ in respect of political moves, here’s the chart for the first news report of what Robert Hur wrote, yesterday:

Notice that everything is above the horizon (except, obviously, the South Node). This is not personal, this is politics. There is one inconjunct.

Sun Inconjunct Ascendant

You may find that no matter how hard you try to show others who you really are, they misunderstand you somehow. You are not intentionally dishonest with the world, you simply present a confusing complex of energies.

Ain’t that the truth!
