Is This Letter a “Deep Fake” or the “Real Deal”?

Pontius Pilate’s Letter to Tiberius about Jesus

YouTube offered a strange video for my viewing pleasure, yesterday. It comes from a series of videos which are verbatim recitations of chapters from a book called “Archko Volume”.

But, is the Acta Pilate real or fake?

According to one website, the answer is that it is fraudulent. But then, a couple of things occurred to me overnight. One: how did the writers of the Gospels know exactly what Jesus said? And, two, who were the true authors of those books? I’ve wondered these things before, but now they’re coming into clearer focus.

I surmised, many years ago, that Jesus must have resurrected and related the events of that holy week from his perspective to the Apostles. This could only be the case since the disciples fell asleep during the deeply disturbing discussions Jesus had with his Father in the Garden of Gethsemane, and they were not present at his trial before Pilate.

I have also entertained the idea that two Jewish men who became Roman citizens could have created Jesus’ story as a ‘parody’ to amuse the new emperor’s family and friends. This was done to suggest that Titus was actually the reincarnation of Jesus and that the destruction of Jerusalem was his revenge on them for Jesus’ crucifixion. In other words, the Second Coming of Christ.

Now a third idea has presented itself. I hinted previously that Tiberius Julius Alexander had access to Pontius Pilate‘s records after following in his role as Prefect in Jerusalem by 15 years. That may have included copies of his letters. What if he found Pilate’s daily journals and started to see the Greatest Story Ever Told developing? Because both Josephus and Alexander were raised in the Jewish faith, they would have known the scriptures, chapter and verse, that predicted the coming of a Messiah. Yes, that would make a great tale about a Son of Man who conquered the world.

Little did they know what would take place later.

The exact English quotations in Pilate’s letter makes it seem unlikely that this was written by Pilate or even his secretary. It’s assertion that Pilate was in thrall to Jesus is in contrast to psychic descriptions of what Pilate was ‘really’ like. If anything, the idea that this letter was ‘found’ in Italy, reminds me that no one even knows where Pilate died and was buried, let alone where his letters might have been hiding. Fake news can be backdated to give it providence, but my gut says, “No way!”

According to these publications, which have reproduced massively throughout dozens of websites, “this exciting manuscript regarding the decision to crucify Jesus Christ remained completely unknown until 1309 A.D., until it was found in the well-known earthquake city of L’Aquila in Central Italy (near which was discovered the ancient Roman town of Amiterno, where they found the home of Pontius Pilate).”

They go on to say: “In 1381 it was brought to Constantinople in the days of Patriarch Jeremiah. It was translated by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Dionysios in the year 1643.”

Freedom’s Just Another Word…

For Nothin’ Left To Lose (Kris Kristofferson “Me and Bobby McGee”)

There are themes that show themselves with striking regularity: “freedom” is one such theme. Alexei Navalny’s death, and Julian Assange’s extradition to the States have that theme at the base of those stories. It seems impossible to the rest of us to be locked away in prison for so long, for essentially the same thing, ‘freedom of expression’, but what we’re forgetting is that “we are all just prisoners here
of our own device” (The Eagles “Hotel California”).

I could wax poetical about the chains we find ourselves in, but it should be remembered that life is what we make it. Most of us are looking for security, and what could be more secure than a prison cell, where no one can get at you, and you just have to exist in an environment that dictates all your ‘freedoms’ you’re allowed within that place. Institutionalization is the term for it. It’s not a lot different than working for a living. We think we’re free, but it’s a rat race to get ahead in a world that rewards the rich and punishes the poor. Jesus is quoted as saying,

For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

Mark 14:7 (KJV)

What did he mean by that statement? It was in reply to an idea that the women with the alabaster jar could have spent her money better by giving it to the poor, rather than anointing Jesus’ feet. Hmm.

And there’s the rub. Poor has a different meaning to Jesus than what we usually think of.

Meaning of “Blessed are the Poor in Spirit”

Being “poor in spirit” does not refer to material poverty or a lack of physical possessions. Instead, it has a more profound spiritual and moral connotation. In Hebrew, “poor” means both the materially poor and the faithful among God’s people. The poor in spirit are those who have the heart of the poor, the same attitude as the poor, and are totally dependent on God. This is related to the words of Christ in Matthew 23:12“And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Marrying Her Gave William Marshal Status

Isabel de Clare (c. 1172 – March 11, 1220)

There’s a kind of justice in the fact that some men can marry above their station and become aristocracy. Richard the Lionheart arranged this marriage, and William Marshal was set for the rest of his life.

It really is a shame that we do not know exactly when Isabel de Clare was born: she would have made an interesting subject of reincarnation. For now, all we can do is look at her death chart. There’s a young lady of my acquaintance who has that same water triangle (Sun in Pisces, Saturn [not Moon] in Scorpio and Cancer Ascendant). What are the chances of that? There are several inconjuncts, but only two form a Yod pointing at the ‘fatal’ Sun. Uranus and Pluto are powerful planets. Can we trust the timing? Of course, not. But, even so, Jupiter would substitute for the Cancer Ascendant, should it be wrong.

Once Seen, Never Forgotten, Forever

Pembroke Castle, Pembroke, Wales

Now, this really shows how the past can impinge on the present. In 2016, my wife and I visited Ireland. It was our original intention to take the ferry over to the U.K. and travel down to Devon to stay with my daughter and her husband in Plymouth. The ferry route? Rosslare to Pembroke.

Testing Her Resolve to do the Right Thing

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis testifies during a hearing on the Georgia election interference case, Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, in Atlanta. The hearing is to determine whether Willis should be removed from the case because of a relationship with Nathan Wade, special prosecutor she hired in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump. (Alyssa Pointer/Pool Photo via AP)

Fani Willis (October 27, 1971)

Circling back on my original post about Fani Willis, I see now that most online sites have decided that her birth year is 1971, not 1970 as originally presumed. That means I need to revisit her birth chart.

What a difference a year makes! But some things still appear to revolve around aspects to Saturn, now in the 7th House (of Open Enemies) which could mean the justice system and her work as a District Attorney. But, I must remind you, the timing of this chart is randomized, so that only one of the two inconjuncts can be absolutely relied upon.

Sun Inconjunct Saturn (for sure)

You will have to learn the difference between having self-control and discipline, on the one hand, and totally denying yourself any self-expression, on the other. This aspect can mean that you feel extremely unworthy, which undermines your self-confidence and makes it hard to face obstacles in life with confidence and determination.

You may even feel that persons, forces or circumstances are conspiring to prevent you from doing what you want. You may be limited by fear or by the belief that you don’t deserve to get what you want.

Sometimes you may be afraid to get the freedom to do what you want, for the rigid structure and rules that you are forced to live under seem to give you a feeling of security. At the same time, however, part of you does want to be free.

Moon Inconjunct Midheaven (perhaps)

With this aspect you must learn to make your emotional needs and desires for pleasure fit in with your growth and development in the world. It is possible that these problems could make it difficult for you to choose a profession or a course that would give your life a sense of purpose. Or you may be unable to follow one path consistently. In other words, your emotional needs may be in conflict with your long-range goals. You may know what you have to do, but not feel much like doing it. Try not to form bad habits, because they are especially likely to create difficulties of this sort.

You need to feel that your family, especially your parents, give you consistent and reliable emotional guidance and support. Without it, you may easily feel that you are being pulled in two directions, which can only result in going nowhere.

‘Nuff said?

I Asked to be Shown What It Would be Like for Him

Prisoner Trump

Honestly, I didn’t expect so much detail to come through in my dreams. In fact, I got up twice in the night and instantly returned to the scene of the crime (criminal).

One thing that stood out was the convoluted method of calculating his debts. If payments were missed, the former amount was paid out by a new debt, which in most cases was not at any better terms than the old one. And accrued interest was constantly being updated. It even seemed that the ex-president was paying for a female companion’s crimes, too. Whether it was his wife or not wasn’t exactly clear.

When he had to queue to be locked up, he got to skip the long lines and go directly to the front. However, he missed some of the preliminary steps, too, like taking his shoes off. And he didn’t have his paperwork completed. In other words, he wasn’t prepared for whatever the next steps were, either.

But I never actually experienced his going to prison, so I suspect he won’t end up behind bars.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. (Matthew 7:7 KJV)

(He Wants You to) Remember Him for “Trinity” Only

Oppenheimer (2023)

We finally got around to watching this movie on Amazon Prime, last night. Wow, it was impressive at every level. And if you didn’t understand the man behind the creation of the atomic bomb, this movie lays it out for you in public and private moments, which paint a picture of a complex individual.

But what about the man himself?

J. Robert Oppenheimer (April 22, 1904 – February 18, 1967)

Is it a coincidence that Oppenheimer died 57 years ago today? Hmm.

One word of warning: this time is considered conflicting/unreliable, but it is the one that most astrology sites have used, including my own Kepler 7.0 program. First thing to notice is that there are no inconjuncts. But, if someone, somewhere decided that this was the right time because of Neptune and Pluto bracketing the Gemini Ascendant, I would agree with them, since both these planets pack a punch. Even Uranus on the Descendant speaks to this, too.

Now, compare his birth chart with the “Trinity” chart: immediately, it is very evident that he was born to produce the first atomic bomb. I especially appreciate that Oppenheimer’s Moon is exactly conjunct the event Sun. And the interactive Yod pointing at the event Neptune, formed by inconjuncts to his Sun and Midheaven, tells the tale over time. There were doubts sown about Oppenheimer’s past which suggested that he leaked the nuclear information to the Soviets. That mystery will never be solved, but it influenced a whole generation after World War II to consider him to be some kind of traitor. Men in power with vendettas pull strings behind the scenes to discredit innocent men. That’s operating here.

Lies, What Lies?

A.K.A. Fake It Until You Make It

Everyone recognizes the “imposter syndrome” in themselves, but they’re hoping no one else can see it.

This includes politicians of all stripes. It’s the “Emperor’s New Clothes” all over again.

“He was a Crusader Against the Kremlin” (CBC News)

Alexei Navalny Reportedly Died Today

Supposedly, Putin did not want Navalny to die, especially in prison, because that would make a martyr out of him and would cause negativity for Putin’s re-election prospects. So, that begs the question, who (or what) killed Navalny and, of course, why? Is something, someone, out to defeat Putin?

But, juxtaposed with this news is a video by Justin Sledge’s Esoterica channel:

That’s a clue to look at one of the cofounders of the Knights Templar.

Bernard of Clairvaux (c. 1090 – August 20, 1153)

Most non-Catholics would not know who Saint Bernard is. But his death day gives us an opportunity to look at his ‘exit’ point, astrologically.

Is there anything significant here? Other than a conjunction between the Moon and Saturn, I’d say not. But something has set this link up, so I’m going to presume that the Universe wants me to compare Navalny’s birth chart with Bernard’s death chart.

You’ve probably noticed my focus on some placements of Mars to be a sign of a “Peaceful Warrior”. Here, in Bernard’s death chart, Mars is at 11° Taurus, and Navalny’s South Node is at the same place.

There are two other exact conjunctions: Bernard’s ‘fatal’ Mercury is within 7′ of Navalny’s Ascendant and Bernard’s ‘final’ Part of Fortune is within 30′ of Navalny’s Uranus. But are they enough to confirm a karmic connection between them? I think so.

Overcoming Obstacles, “Until the Wheels Fall Off”

The Hill (2023)

Imagine being born with a degenerative spinal disease. Imagine wanting to play baseball in the major leagues. Imagine having a father whose version of God’s will says that you have to become a preacher like him. Imagine trying to balance all these things at the same time. Imagine that it’s a true story.

You’d think as a Canadian I would have heard about this young man, since he was signed to the Montreal Expos farm system, but I hadn’t. That’s what made this film a joy to watch. (Besides, I know what it’s like to be a preacher’s kid.)

Meet the real Rickey Hill (August 15, 1956)

Now, let’s look at his birth chart, rectified to demonstrate the dynamics of a Saturn/Ascendant conjunction.

Normally, Saturn represents (in my humble opinion) the ‘Father’ in a birth chart. But sometimes it can represent an obstacle, a disability that has to be overcome. Then the father figure reverts to the Sun, as it does in this instance. So, an inconjunct between the Sun and Mars takes on the dynamic of Rickey’s dilemma: God’s Will or his own.

Sun Inconjunct Mars

You have a rather strong will, which may be difficult to control. This is because your way of doing something tends to interfere with what you want to gain by doing it. Your actions in some situations may surprise people by contradicting what they have learned about you as a person. Inside of yourself, you may even begin to feel that you can’t approve of the way you act, or you may feel that you can’t deal comfortably with the results of your actions. In other words, you get yourself into real jams.

If you can learn to handle this problem, you can gain quite a bit of power over your life, because you are able to attack problems and situations in two rather different ways. When one approach cannot solve it, the other may be able to. Any connection between the Sun and Mars helps you stand up and assert yourself. You can fight successfully, but only if you learn to control your energies.

Following his retirement from baseball, Rickey Hill didn’t want to abandon the sport completely. As mentioned before the 2023 film’s end credits, Hill now coaches Little League Baseball in Fort Worth, Texas. But he also followed in his father’s footsteps and dedicated his life to his faith and preaching about his obstacles and triumphs. He wanted to share his story, and Hill was finally able to when it was adapted for the big screen in The Hill.
