“We Saw His Star in the East” (Matthew 2:2)

The Messiah’s Star Returns (May 3, 1583 O.S.)

Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.

New American Bible

I was watching a YouTube video about the Rosicrucian rules that basically came to the forefront of people’s thinking in the 17th Century. I may have heard it wrong, but Dr. Justin Sledge said there was a conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn in Pisces in 1603. Well, that got my attention.

But when I did an internet search for dates when these two planets were conjunct in Pisces, the precise date was May 3, 1583. That seemed a bit of a stretch to think it was in 1603. Then I looked up contenders for the Jewish Messiah during those years, and the closest one was actually born in 1626. As I have already looked at his birth and death previously, there’s no reason to do so again: Sabbatai Zevi.

This post is actually about the Magi seeing an astrological portent in the conjunction of these two planets in Pisces, all those years ago. That made me decide to revisit the exact moment that the Star first appeared.

There is speculation that this first conjunction may have been when Jesus was conceived. Rising in the east may refer to an earlier time of day, say 1:30 am local time. The conjunction would have been just coming up over the horizon. And because the Sun and Moon conjunction would have been below the horizon, the Star would have been a spectacular sight. Here’s the chart:

With the Sun/Moon conjunction in Gemini being inconjunct with Neptune in Scorpio, I can see why the Magi were impressed. This is a significant event. So, I wondered if the 1583 conjunction was similarly impressive.

Yes, it does match, as far as the rising Star is concerned, but this time the Moon is setting in the west. Messianic fever started to foment following this celestial event, but, even though the star is rising again, the rest of the chart doesn’t support the significance of the original chart. That’s why Sabbatai Zevi failed in his quest to be the Messiah. It also implies that the return should have happened within 9 months. You cannot make this stuff up, even if the world was hoping against hope for a Jewish Saviour.

Hmm.

Opinion? Don’t Politicize a National Air Disaster

Deadly Mid-Air Crash (January 29, 2025)

Lately, I’ve been looking at all forms of accidents and terrorist attacks. One thing that keeps coming through is the role that Venus makes in the procedures.

As we’ve been reporting for the last week or so, the planets have been forming a visible alignment in the night sky. Venus is the most visible planet of all. At the precise moment that the American Airlines plane and the Army Blackhawk helicopter collided in the mid-air, Venus was on the Descendant, conjunct both Saturn (on one side) and Neptune (on the other). All three planets are (naturally) in opposition to the Ascendant @ 21° Virgo. Is this significant? I think so. People are united in love and sorrow.

After a minute of silence to honour the 67 people who died, #47 decided to blame previous Democrat presidents for allowing DEI principles to be used for the FAA’s hiring practices. Well, that’s rich, because as president between 2017 and 2021, when he was #45, he could have stopped those practices, but he didn’t. It’s a case of deflecting blame away from himself, as usual.

But, at least, he did preface the accusation as his ‘opinion’.

Could a Bible Verse Help Us Return to Paradise?

Genesis 3:24

This post will demonstrate how my mind works, especially when I’m trying to connect the dots.

Let’s watch a YouTube video together, shall we?

The simple truth that we are gods escapes our ‘normal’ attention, but when we meditate we open ourselves up to receiving the Light, which is represented as a lightning flash through the chakra system.

Then the whole Tree of Life becomes a reality. And the Flaming Sword, meant to keep us from achieving access to the Tree of Life (as described in the Bible verse), becomes the means by which we can, in fact, return to the Garden of Eden (the Garden of Delight = the Garden of the Light).

What an eye-opener, eh?

O, Think Twice, Cause It’s Another Day for U & Me in…

Paradise (2025)

If you only watch episode 1, you’ll be forgiven if it feels a little like the Gerard Butler series of films about protecting the President. But this one has a twist, and it requires a huge suspension of belief.

The title is the clue, but it’s not as if we’ve never seen this idea before. I can’t reveal what that twist is, but the show I’d seen before has a person realize that not all is as it seems when he hears the record of birdsong repeat itself too frequently. Do you remember that show? Also, if I’m being perfectly honest, this place should be on Mars, not here on Earth.

What I will say for this show is the use of 1980’s and 1990’s music in the soundtrack. Each episode so far has a least one hit that strikes a chord of recognition.

.

.

The music alone might be worth the price of admission. “Paradise” airs on Disney+.

Is It a Bird? Is It a Plane? No, It’s…

Space Junk

I went looking for this image after watching this morning’s YouTube video from “Ask the Spirit Guides“. Karen thinks it was a UFO plane, but her description and her drawing suggest something else.

Please watch the video on YouTube.

Here’s what some other people captured on video last night:

How the Chinese Snuck Up on the World’s Chat Apps

DeepSeek (January 10, 2025)

They say that the Chinese have ingenuity. What they also have is the ability to spy on western industries and ‘borrow’ ideas (and even computer programs). The chosen icon for the DeepSeek app is a whale. Hmm.

On January 10th, this year, DeepSeek offered a free app for the public to download its chat program. Within two weeks, this program became the most popular addition to the world’s downloads.

I suspect the event Mars being in opposition to both Sun and Pluto gave this program its aggressive action against other chat programs. At the same time, there is an inconjunct linking the Moon and Mercury. That may be significant.

Moon Inconjunct Mercury

You [the public] shouldn’t allow your feelings to overrun your reason. The best thing to do whenever there seems to be a conflict between these two areas is to not make a decision immediately. Reflect and wait for further information that might help you make up your mind.

That whale has swallowed the competition.

When a Newscaster Decides He’s Had Enough

Jim Acosta (April 17, 1971)

When CNN offered him a move to the midnight slot, Jim Acosta decided to quit instead. That takes courage. Since Acosta’s birth time is unknown, I randomized it.

There are two inconjuncts, both of which would remain for the whole day, so time is irrelevant here.

Sun Inconjunct Pluto

You have a very strong will and can be quite stubborn, even when you don’t have any particular reason to be. It is as if you automatically resist any pressure to act in a particular way, even if you know it is good for you. This may arise from a fear of being controlled, helpless or manipulated by anyone else.

You are very serious for your age, perhaps too much so, for taking everything very seriously can destroy much of the joy in life. Not all encounters are important and require you to put yourself on the line, although you may try to live that way.

Planets in Youth (page 95) by Robert Hand (1977)

Mercury Inconjunct Neptune

Sometimes this aspect means that you are so nervously sensitive that you pick up all the negative psychology energies around you and react to them very strongly. If this is true for you, the only way to deal with it is to be moved to a peaceful, positive environment. If there is too much noise or too many bad vibrations in your life, you will withdraw more and more and refuse to face reality.

Your self-confidence needs to be built up as much as possible so that you can face people without fear, tell the truth about yourself and be honest in other ways as well.

Ibid (page 169)

Acosta’s Final Signoff from CNN (January 28, 2025)

This is the first minute of the final hour of his broadcast. Neptune had just transited the Pisces Ascendant and there is an overload of planets and lights in the 11th and 12th Houses. Acosta’s natal Pluto is (almost) exactly in opposition to the transiting Neptune. Thereby hangs the tale. Hmm.

Happy trails, amigo.

What a Planetary Alignment Looks Like in Astrology

January 25, 2025

There’s been a lot of hoo-ha about the night sky last Saturday. This is just the beginning, because there will be an even greater spectacular sight in late February.

Here’s the chart I raised for the local time of 8 pm.

Interestingly, there are three inconjuncts, two of which form a Yod pointing at the Moon (which was not visible at the time of viewing). If the Moon had been visible, it is doubtful that any of the planets would have been visible at all.

Planetary Alignment (February 28, 2025)

Here’s what that chart looks like:

I set the clock for 6 pm, when the Sun would be setting in the western sky. Notice how, in more than a month, Venus has moved on to almost 11° Aries, leaving Mercury, Saturn and Neptune behind in Pisces. Because the Sun and the Moon are also in Pisces, this becomes an interesting line-up of energies, all in the 7th House (of Open Enemies and Relationships). Hmm.

There now is only one inconjunct.

Venus Inconjunct Ascendant

You should realize that others will respect you if you stand up for yourself and ask for a reasonable return in a relationship. If you constantly seem to be apologizing for who and what you are, people begin to wonder if they have overlooked something that is wrong with you, and they begin to lose confidence in you. Thus you may bring about the criticism that you are afraid of. You are as good and as worthy of being loved as anyone. Be yourself with others, and many people will love you.

Planets in Youth (page 209) by Robert Hand (1977)

“When the Moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars.” (“Aquarius” from “Hair”)

Is this a collective message for mankind?

Does It Fit the Description of the Chariot in Ezekiel?

Plasmoids Over New Jersey

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They also say that people will see what they want to see, despite ‘proof’ to the contrary. I guess it’s time to tackle this situation head-on.

Ezek 1:4 I looked, and lo, a stormy wind came sweeping out of the north—a huge cloud and flashing fire, surrounded by a radiance; and in the center of it, in the center of the fire, a gleam as of amber.

The Torah.com

Obviously, none of this is new: for example, I saw in a photograph of ‘something’ in the evening sky in 2017, a structure that (under magnification) appeared as a Merkaba. In spiritual terms, this is a vehicle for visiting the earthly plane, without fear of crashing and burning. But now the question is being asked: are these angels?

What do you think?
